  1. Ok, this is waaaay off topic, but guess that's what these forums are for +_+ A kiss and a candy for anyone who can solve this equation (giving full detail on how he did that): -4x^3+3x-1/2=0
  2. Might as well do. But let's just wait for Project... I mean Delaware Project to be announced first Oh, and try PM'ing a developer with Your question.
  3. I think they are not going to run out of states for a long time. And when they do, might as well start naming projects after presidents, like BiS did.
  4. I played through both Fallouts a couple of times, just to see how much changed if I tried other characters and tactics. And... no. OK games, but not much more than that. In order to enjoy the second route through I set strict limitations on myself (not allowed to steal, lie to people or use guns...) but still ended up being just another ok experience. Mostly because of the one dimensional characters and the repetitive gameplay. (As I could solve balancing issues by just not allowing myself to do things that made it too easy.) The idea of the Fallout world is interesting. And the special character building system shows a lot of promise. It is then very likely that You did something wrong while trying to make the game exciting for Yourself. I've finished each Fallout at least a hundred times (and I'm not exaggerating here), and I don't seem to have enough of it. I doubt this is because of some appearent difference between my taste and Yours. But know for sure, that by playing the game one time You can't get even 1/10 of the available quests done, and I'm pretty positive of that. You need to try the game with different statistics (ever tried playing with a character with lower intelligence than 3? that simply kills ), You need to make waaay more limitations on Yourself than You did, You need to do everything in a different order than You did last time. And then repeat everything with a female character. Checkout the topic about Fallout 1 and 2 in the RPG's section of this board. One thing I can guarantee: if You've finished the game only once, it will be an OK game to You, but to get the feel of it, and to understand while so many people are fascinated by this game, You would have to finish it at least a couple of times (first finish Fallout 1, then wait even a couple of months, and finish fallout2. And repeat ). Regards.
  5. The fallouts have a very specific feel to them. You either feel this or You don't, sorry.
  6. Huk, did You even get further than Arroyo? )
  7. Yes, that's the same thing I was referring to. It was Odin's strike in FF VIII, and as far as I remember it was Zanzetsuken I'm going to check on that.
  8. Zantetsuken, wasn't your nickname supposed to be "Zanzetsuken" ?
  9. As far as I'm concerned, this new game could be a cat life simulator. IMO Kotor wasn't that good game that it would deserve a sequel. You play it once and ditto. There's nothing more in it. Of course if you're a SW fan you might play it on the other side of the force, but generally... blah. There are many SW fans out there, believe me. A sequel would generate a huge income just because of the game's title.
  10. I know we all want to hear what the game is, but Obsidian needs to develop a good rep with this first game. If the game got leaked, I don't think the publisher would be to thrilled. Agreed. Give them the time to polish this one, later they will have alot more free space.
  11. Well in my opinion it really depends on what realms will project X be set in. I can give you an entire list of composers, but which of them would be most fit for this game I really don't know.
  12. That's more like it... there may be hope for you yet, young Grasshopper. I'll do my best.
  13. Good to see someone from the old Fallout crew *Sniff*
  14. Still it's a fact that only a small number of people would buy a FO3 based on the FO/FO2 engine - around 20 thousand? Basically people who played FO1 and FO2, but it would be hard to get new customers who don't know what fallout is to buy the game.
  15. I suppose so. Still this does not alter the fact that it is what I would personally like.
  16. Improved tweaks to an engine are all I require. Like mentioned above if I'm playing a sequel then I expect some things, and one is similarity in the engine/interface/combat etc... Now, if a sequel is 5 years or more from an original then I would expect a new engine, but if it were only1 or 2 years, then I would probably just expect tweaks to the original engine. Well, if a fallout 3 would be made now from scratch, I'd be totally happy with the Fallout 1 & 2 engines (would be nice if they boosted up the resolution a bit, but it's not a must).
