bug, probably hard to reproduce: odd sequence of events, not sure what might be relevant, but definitely a bug i observed [tldr: saw the top card of a location deck when i shouldn't have] 1) playing attack on sandpoint hardest difficulty 2) merisiel just defeated goblin henchman at swallowtail festival 3) to close the location, merisiel is acquiring wand of force missile [to help this, kyra plays aid then pharasma] 4) merisiel succeeds 5) zoom back to cathedral so kyra can make aid recharge check 6) kyra fails, card goes into discard - HERE'S THE WEIRD PART: ***during the spell discard animation, i see a completely spurious picture of goblin warchanter on the screen for less than a second, right where the spell was*** as i found out the next turn, it turned out that goblin warchanter was the next card in kyra's location deck, so somehow it being shown erroneously earlier during kyra's recharge check on merisiel's turn. This one happened to me. Temporarily closed a location, fought a bandit. When it was switching back to my fight with the villain it showed me a large chest for just a moment. Then next turn, first examine, I encounter a large chest.

Just thinking that since you have red numbers for too many cards, I think it would be helpful, more user-friendly if a deficit showed in another colour, blue maybe?

This is specifically about Bardic Performance, but really it's about any time you are acquiring cards into your hand from the discard. When you pick a card from your hand, it says discard. And then it shows the list of cards from your discard. If you look at a card, Full size, you can't drag it. You have to minimize it back, then drag it down. It would be great if when you selected a card and it went full size, there was an option to the right called ACQUIRE maybe and you just select that and it sends it to your hand. Same thing could be used when you are sending cards from your discard to your deck.

Question about Treasure Chests
PinkRose replied to Alklein35's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
"Sweet Shelyn! I got one of those Shirtless Nathan Selfie Promo Cards!" "That's a real Treasure Chest right there." -
Ahhhhh. Thank you. This game being digital is going to help me soooooo much. I always think of divine as wisdom, and I'm not used to Lem. I'm so excited to be able to switch around to rarely used characters so easily. Seoni and Valeros, I'm looking at you.
-
Can anyone figure out why the Troubador is a selectable card? I was doing a divine check. I even tried swtching to Combat and he was still an option. Gave me a d6.

Hadn't even noticed that "Valeros" bug. Great observation. -
Question about Treasure Chests
PinkRose replied to Alklein35's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
Where do I send my $100? -
I was able to do it once. Add Lem to my group of already completed adventures. BUt I went back to test again, and I can't add him at all. No matter how I try in any order.

Thanks Sylvanta! That's what I wanted. I would suggest changing the icon since that icon means Character Sheet and not Change Up Team

usability commentary: losing a turn due to an effect (eg the wildcard: lose a card off blessing deck when you fail to acquire a boon) should have a MUCH more pronounced visual effect, losing a turn is a very big deal Totally agree with this suggestion.
-
Nice report. i couldn't find a way to see what wildcard powers are during a scenario, i only saw them at the start. If you look at the scenario name on the left, below the location, clicking on the scenario name will show all the adjustments going on.

I hope that's true, Hannibal, and I'm just missing the button.

And I just found out that once you pick new people, you have to unlock everything again. Even the difficulty levels. So to get the 6 people I want, assuming they are all basic characters, you have to play through with 2 characters, all 3 scenarios, all 3 difficulties. Then 3 characters, all 3 scenarios, all 3 difficulties. Then 4, then 5, then 6. So that's 45 play throughs using just the basic scenarios so you can get your party of 6 on to Burnt Offering. Does that sound right?

I was surprised to find that if I want to add my newly acquired Lem to my duo of Kyra and Merisiel, I have to start completely over. No skill ups, no new boons, just starting over. In my home game we can add in novice characters to existing groups, they are just behind the curve. What this means for the digital game is a lot of boring unless you buy the season pass first thing. Every time I earn 2000 gold, and then 4000, I add a new character and start over. It seems the best plan is to redo Brigandoom! over and over until I've acquired all characters that I want to actually play with. And if Kyra and Merisiel aren't in my preferred group, that's two more characters I have to earn. Even with the season pass, I assume if you want to change characters at any time, you'll have to start completely over. Not sure this is a problem, just an observation.

End of Pillbug Deck building
PinkRose replied to PinkRose's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
Yep, we've always played that you can always swap out basic cards. But I can take it if Edicor does have the correct ruling. Either way, there is a bug. -
At the end of Pillbug I had 2 spells for Kyra (supposed to have 3). But Merisiel had 1 (supposed to have 0) Wouldn't let me move on to pick up that 3rd spell from the box. Had to give Kyra Merisiel's spell, then remove it, then switch to Merisiel, then switch to Allies (which was the right amount) and it finally let me move on with the green arrow, so I could pick up my missing Cure spell.

Closed Beta Issues Thread
PinkRose replied to Mikey Dowling's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
In another thread they said that the cards are automatically added to "the box" and if you are playing a scenario that includes those cards they will be randomly added like any other card from the box. -
Question about Treasure Chests
PinkRose replied to Alklein35's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
AAAAAAAAAH. Makes sense. You should tell the developers to make that more clear. -
Can there be a random button for characters? I sometimes shuffle my character cards and draw my group, and think it would be cool if I could do the same on the tablet. Thanks.

Question about Treasure Chests
PinkRose replied to Alklein35's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
So seriously, that helps, Llaney. However, where does one find the actual cards that have come from the Treasure Chestsin the Vault? I can't find my flaming scimitar or my Allies anywhere. -
Acid Arrow Play in Tutorial
PinkRose replied to Mysterio's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
That's a known text error. They have changed it to d10, instead of 2d4 but the card text still needs changed.- 1 reply

Face-up cards when location is closed, please
PinkRose replied to PinkRose's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
You're telling me when you play the physical game, you just put them back in the box, without looking? -
Face-up cards when location is closed, please
PinkRose posted a question in Pathfinder Adventures: Closed Beta
Can we have the option to show the cards that are getting banished when we close a location? I always love to know if it was a good idea or not, to save those 3 turns and find it was just 3 Blessing of the Gods left in the deck. And I always agonize over whether it is a dull longsword or +1 Flaming Longsword left at the bottom of the deck when I close a location. And that's part of the fun. I realized after my 3rd or 4th, I wasn't getting to see what I was passing up. An option in the main menu to turn it on or not would be fabulous.
