Finished Backpack Hero. Took me about 70 hours because I was trying to research everything (still have four items to research) and do the various side missions (haven't done them all because Tote is just too luck based).
Overall a cute, fun little rogue like.
I don't enjoy the playstyle of 2 of the 5 characters, so I'll overcome the completionist in me and call it done

By the way, that sea monster will also eat you if you try to sail away from the game area

Yeah, there is no happy ending in Dredge
Still better than the alternative.
I felt the story was quite well done, though by the time you get to the ending, taking the selfish option didn't make much sense to me.

There is dlc that adds more stuff. But I spend enough time catching every type of mutant fish and unlocking all the paint jobs for my boat.

I don't think they are even on the list of creatures likely to be summoned by evil wizard to eat you in a swimming pool

I should have years ago started convincing people to leave reviews on games "Melkathi suggested I should buy this game - so I did."
Just to make devs wonder "Melkathi, melkathi who tf is melkathi?" and maybe even do a Smokie cover. Though we aren't at the 24 year mark yet, so you are spared.
Oh, I don't know why he's posting, or how off topic this is gonna go,
I guess he's got his reasons, but I just don't want to know
Imagine getting spammed for 24 years by melkathi

There is no random in Dredge, but you will enjoy it.

I played Dredge, which is safely above water and has a fixed map.
Sunless Sea looks fun but I didn't give it the chance it probably deserves.
I want to try Diluvion and I want to try Submerged when it comes to water games.
But in general I am scared of the water in first person games like Elder Scrolls, because I always fear a sea monster will eat me.
I blame Donald Duck (there was a comic panel where he is about to jump into a swimming pool and finds it filled with fish holding knives and forks, ready to eat him), a book I had in kindergarten about dinosaurs, that involved sea dinosaurs, and monster-in-my-pocket (specifically the Hanivar?)
Also my rampant imagination.
I mean, what proof do you have that someone can't animate the lines drawn at the bottom of the pool, and turn them into Hammerhead sharks?

No, survival crafting games seem too much like work.
Also it is labeled survival horror, which may make me forever stay away from beaches. That would be a shame living in Greece

Shouldn't Lexx be the one we force to play Lex Imperialis?

Why do you always do it last?

I was trying very hard this evening in a discussion not to get dragged into a political argument. Then the other guy said "I can tell you this with certainty. I saw proof on 4chan."
I went home to take painkillers after that.

My phone doesn't show embedded stuff. Is it a rick roll?

Lady with a strong Indian accent called me today on the landline:
"Hello sir, I am calling from technical support about your computer."
"We see that there is strange activity from your computer on our server..."
I hung up on her but I really would have loved to know how the scam would have proceeded.

Generally good, for the most part 5.5 is an improvement but there's still some questionable stuff like Warlocks potentially being better martials than martials and the entire Ranger class.
Finally putting the war back into warlock?

I am tired of consequences

If they don't do something about the pantheon limit, at least split the pantheon into a player ascended list and a npc ascended list, these DLC will start annoying people at the same rate they excite people. I already need to delete ascended characters because I hit the 50/50 limit two DLC ago if I want to keep the npcs you encounter during the story missions.

Back when, I somehow gave up on Sattelite Reign because of real life and then didn't pick it back up. So I decided to change that.
I have started a new run of Sattelite Reign.
I still really like the Syndicate feel of the game.
And true to the old Syndicate, my biggest opponent are the controls...

Remember, always buy everything Awaken Realm publishes. If they make a lot of money they might open an animation studio and I have called dibs on pitching them scripts for animated series

If someone shoots your shield with a laser and the game doesn't fry your HD as a result, request a refund.
