Talking to people with your companions
But you'll miss out on whole conversations if your PC isn't the sort to talk to that guy. But if you have a companion who would, and you can have companions act as party spokesperson, then that content isn't missed. That´s a great idea, having to figure out which character is best suited to talk to the NPC. If made well it could be very interesting!

Talking to people with your companions
I was so happy to see him again in the expansion! That´s the kind of feeling I want to have for the characters in this game. It doesn't really matter to me, if it´s handled well it works just fine with the character being voiceless. Giving him a voice seems unnecasery when the cost of doing that can go to something else in the game. I loved Oghren, but in Awakening, his character was basically reduced to fart-jokes and retardation. I have no idea who wrote him in Awakening, but it was clearly not the same person that wrote him in Origins. I know what you mean, the farting and vulgarity is only part of his charm, hehe. He was a great personality in the maingame. Still good to see him. Would love to have a bunch of followers in Infinitiy that have a hard time getting along, both in a serious and funny way.

"Other" Playable Species Poll
I voted for something completely different and a whole bunch of the more strange races. I woulnd't want the game to be flooded with them but at least 1-2 races that are not the fantasy norm just to spice things up.
- Mature themes you'd like to see in the game

What do you wish not to see in PE
Pixelperfekt replied to BasaltineBadger's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)Uneven level of challenge in the main story If i choose easy, normal, hard or whatever the difficulty shouldn't spike at certain points. I´d love to have certain optional areas and side-quest do this but when playing through the main story I don´t want to be locked at a sudden major increase at a certain point maybe forcing me to change the difficulty for that area just for it to drop down in the next area. But I love the idea of exploring, taking the wrong turn and get brutally butchered by some hideous monster!

Should gold have weight?
Pixelperfekt replied to Intoxicated_Ant's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)I think it´s stupid that gold should have weight but that´s just me. Make it an option for those who want it. And that´s exactly what they plan to do with the different "modes" if i´m not mistaken?

Death animations and finishing moves
Personally I don't want to much focus on the deatscenes in this kind of game, I just want a good sense of impact, especially on bosses and bigger enemies when the fall.

Talking to people with your companions
Love to see this happen. A similar game I recently played was Dragon Age, loved how the companions butted in on the conversations with their personal thoughts and also that they talked with eachother without my interaction. It really made me grow fond of some and sick of others (in a good kind of way). I really felt for alot for some of the characters in that game and loved to see some of them make a comeback in the expansion Awakeneing. It was like seeing a good old friend.

I'd up my pledge but... (opinions)
Yes but only if.. (specify in the post) I´d love to pledge more but since i´m a poor student I feel very happy with my 20 $ contribution, I have too many everyday costs to think about right now to pledge more, maybe if there was an option later on to pledge more... You know, when I have a job and make good money.
