  1. I knew the game's music will be great! Thanks for the update - it's awesome! :3
  2. This thread has been up for a couple of days now. Yeah, I figured that out after posting. I hope you don't mind the inconvenience.
  3. Greetings from Poland! :3 Or it's still pretty early for US fellas, isn't it? Maybe after morning coffee they'll join this thread.
  4. Thanks! :3 For me simplicity of Torment's music is what makes it so great - it's based on your emotions and nothing else. Another goodies from me. My two favorite soundtracks from Sacred 2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pLCZ69KE4g http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5v9raFhdZw&feature=relmfu
  5. This is exactly what I wanted to hear. Some writers go overboard with "being dark", and it just becomes silly and results in unlikeable characters that are hard to empathize with or care about. Obsidian has always done a great job of not falling into this trap, in my opinion, and I'm glad to hear that they are aiming to keep it that way. Sometimes 'being dark' or 'tormented' is more like being pretentious, isn't it? For me being mysterious and manipulative makes character more intresting and believable. Great example is Kreia or Ravel. Old hags rule the worlds! ;D
  6. If we still are about awesome music and marvelous intros, here goes my piece of cake. Voiced by Michael Bell. :3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCZ77B7b1kQ
  7. As I wrote in another topic - I think Mister Bell is suitable for a job and more than capable of delivering as great music as one included in Kikstarter's video is.
  8. I agree. His work on the Kickstarter video gives me goosebumps every time. I feel the same way. I know having Mister Morgan would be fantastic, but for me it's more like a nostalgic dream. Mister Bell did great job, so why not let him spread his wings?
  9. I couldn't agree more. Part of old RPGs was good, creative music which was able to nail atmosphere and story of a game perfectly. Some, let's call them modern, games use that 'awesome epicness' you're talking about and it serves the purpose well enough, but doesn't leave impact on you like old games did. Keep in mind that it's my opinion and I speak only for myself.
  10. Personally, I like music from Kickstarter video. Though, I don't think it should be theme song of the game, because transition after 30sec is too sudden. Maybe it makes sense from game's story view. On the other hand, the ending of the song is really powerful for me. I'm not worried about quality of music and sounds, my only fear is keeping balance of music as a background and music as the experience itself. I keep my fingers crossed, Mister Bell! :3
  11. Yeah, I feel tormented well enough, mind you. Can't wait for anything what's about to come! Also, I'm new around here - so, hi everybody. :3
