I wanna pay $150 to jump out of a good plane with my physics teacher. Was it fun for you guys who did it? Or still doing it on a constant basis? What gear did you bring?
  4. It's all about immersion. It reinforces passion. Incase anyone wanna read one I wrote to understand- http://www.writing.com/main/view_item/item_id/1138307
  5. It's all merely a collection. Just liked how they dressed up in Resident Evil and I want to be prepared incase zombies attack. Just a legal fantasy. I do write stories on it so I get a tad into it, to write the stories better.
  6. Okay the UnderArmour site says that it should not be exposed to 350F. When does it ever get that hot? Near a campfire?

Show proof of the stats. kthnxbai And forks are only made for one reason. Eating. As in eat or be eaten. If guns are taken away, only outlaws will own guns.

Guns are made for one purpose. To save lives.
  10. This is what I'm buying. It's made by UnderArmour. It absorbs sweat and keep you really warm, however it is said that UnderArmour products melt in radiant heat or fire. And the last thing I wanna do it scar my face. Any thoughts or experiences?

Well I am, it's not like I said that I was ALWAYS right which is false, since I am only usually right.

That statement is a steaming pile of BS. A weapon is an inanimate object, incapable of aggression. If putting a weapon in a persons hand makes them aggressive then that is a character deficency in that individual and has nothing to do with the weapon. By using your logic I might claim that beer has given me a beer gut. But the truth is, that beer would have sat right there on the shelf if I did not buy it. And nothing would have happened if I did not drink it. The fault is not with the beer it's with me. If someone abuses a weapon it is not the fault of the weapon, the people who made it, or other uninvolved people who own a weapon. It is the fault of the indvidual only. We had a gun control thread already. A lot of acrimony, argument, link posting, baiting and it all boiled down to Europeans having a different opinion than North Americans on the subject. And not a little condecension over the cultural differences on both sides. You're right, that is honestly one ignorant statement indeed IMHO (and I'm usually right), and you explained why perfectly. I don't turn into Mr. Hyde when I'm holding my gun for I'm a responsible, law-abiding individual without any past misdeamonors/felony on my reccord.. Curious as of what did he sent you in his PM that he didn't post here about? His side of the argument made private? No need to answer if it's private, Samm, but I am a bit intrigued.

Yeah, just too bad body armor is outlawed. When the police shoot you, they want to be sure their hollowpoint bullets goes into you without switching to FMJ rounds

    Or more logical, actually.

The police use hollowpoints. FMJ rounds have a better chance of penetrating walls than hollowpoints and hitting a bystander. AND FMJ's and other armor-piercing ammo are banned in California except for law enforcement. Hollowpoints have better stopping power on unarmored targets, which is all that counts. So it's an obvious no to FMJ. Honestly, it's not as if I'm not going to get a SOCOM II if I could afford one. I just got the G22 right now because of the price.

It's not as practical for self defense as my 9mm handgun is. Even then, some says that my 9mm has insufficient stopping power. However, I load one of my handgun magazines with this ammo (CorBon Pow'rBall) for self defense- They are kinda like hollow points, except the ball on the tip causes the round to expand. Therefore they got less feeding problems as regular hollowpoints, and there are legal in places where regular hollowpoint rounds aren't. As for the rifle in hunting, mostly just for varmint and plinking. It's no M16, though I can probably get headshots easy with that rifle on big game if I take the time to aim.

Well, it's basically just this gun- except I put a sling, forward handgrip, and red dot scope. Will be adding a laser soon, right beneath the barrell. And it's not heavily armed, it's only .22 cal. And I would have posted this on my last thread about the handgun... if it wasn't locked a long time ago for derailment.

Thanks. Yeah I was, a long time ago though.
  19. http://www.unitednorthamerica.org/ Maybe this was mentioned a long time ago here, but wondering if anybody's views on it changed. Mines didn't, and I see a lot of advantages to it.

It's a pain to disassemble and clean, but other than that I added a few modifications and now it's my primary range gun. Anybody else got any to share?
  21. Does it start with just a made-up unknown word someone starts and other begin to use with a negative connotation, and after a while the word becomes bad and considered profanity?
  22. This baby will develop the power to destroy half the world, and you don't know how he will turn out. He may be cute right now, but later on is he going to turn out to be a Clark Kent-act alike and save a few people from thugs here and there every day? Or is he going to be Hitler evil? In that case, why take the chance? Would it be just to kill him while he is still defenseless?
  23. Eddo36

    Cars

They kill more people than any else though.

are they the deadliest weapon a civilian can own? Or the most destructive one at least?
  25. It's for my personal safety. I don't care about the safety of anyone else in the country.
