I had to comment, look at the size of your pork belly compared to mine....hence emphasis on the word " mini " pork belly Do you know the weight of yours? Your one is ideal for a family Oh and what do serve with it?

-
Okay thanks for sharing, the law is not my strong point and I prefer to avoid any debates around it unless very easy to understand

I found something really interesting at one of my local butcheries today , a mini-pork belly ...only 500 grams but its still pork belly So Im having that for dinner tonight, going to roast it in the oven, with buttery mash potatoes

Happy Thanksgiving US members , I know these are dark times with the pandemic and its impact but the good news is I absolutely believe things will get better in the US around the virus with Biden as president

The entire subject of Alzheimer's and dementia is a very emotional one and the question "what would you do if you suffering from one of these ailments is indeed complex " After seeing my Dads mental deterioration I am experiencing first hand what this means and its not great. You have to ask yourself a question " what are we if we cannot remember who we are and cannot recognize loved ones ". My Dad isnt at that point at all but its gong there. Last week on our family WhatsApp group I recommend the brilliant Queens Gambit on Netflix, my dad asked " what is Netflix son ? " Last year he would have known what Netflix was as he use to watch it all the time If it was me going through that I would make the difficult but definite decision to end my life before I forget everything that mattered to me but I would let my family and friends know. That would be a terrible discussion to have but I believe and hope my family would support me

What Are You Playing Now: The meaning of life

Great post, thanks for sharing I haven't played any M&M games and this merge Mod may be exactly what I was looking for as I battle sometimes around older games and the outdated graphics engine and mechanics -
https://www.shine.cn/news/world/2011260562/ Flynn admitted to lying to the FBI, I am not sure how this would be considered not criminal in any country? There is a time and place to defend Trump and his surrogates but this definitely is not one of them

Fair enough but you know I have your back, remember half my family are English so I consider you my " people " outside of SA and the UK is seen as our " second "home and would be my immigration destination if white people were kicked out of SA like in the case of Zimbabwe( and we know how well that went ) which is highly unlikely Anyway I generally always have a solution to issues I raise, if you do start feeling guilty all you need to do is return the monitors, get your money back and I will send you my banking details so you can transfer that money into my account ....problem solved !! No more guilt And if you ponder or someone else asks " why would I give money away to an Internet stranger " .....thats easy to answer In life its better to give than to receive
-
It must be nice living in a first world country and having lots of money to afford to buy expensive and superficial things like....monitors I hope you feel guilty ...you know " white guilt " and all that

Its a pity you cannot make taking the Corona vaccine mandatory in every country, I cannot think of one convincing or factual argument where someone could say " I refuse to take the vaccine " I understand people have a right to make choices in our countries but this particular virus is so contagious you not just potentially making yourself sick if you refuse to take the vaccine you are potentially killing other people and that should be a right no one has I also understand the historical reasons minorities may be wary of the vaccine , we see this in SA as well , but this doesnt change the reality of the necessity of the vaccine and it is not a valid reason to not take it considering the global nature of the pandemic Gromnir it should be legally part of our systems like paying taxes, everyone pays taxes generally. You dont get a choice I believe in peoples right to make choices and to be accountable but this vaccine should be seen differently considering the real health risk and damage done to the world

Gothfuscious !!! I am shocked you are pushing Russian propaganda ....how could you forget the immutable life lessons that we learnt at school ..." better dead than red " ( and remember people like us were born during the Cold War so that always applies ...we have real lived experience of this great existential clash of ideology ) I am glad you posted it because sometimes when I watch these types of informative clips I confirm what I already believe, or have learnt , or I learn something new....and sometimes when I learn something new it may seem small but it has very real and complex ramifications for my broader view of geopolitics and different pertinent ideological alliances Putin is a good person to interview, he comes across as convincing and calm and responds to potentially complex questions with succinct but revealing comments. I appreciate that and it demonstrates his intelligence which I have always respected But in summary there are several key things to take from this interview that are about the most important considerations that generally came up during the Trump presidency ... "what is the reality behind the current Russia and USA relationship " but more appropriately " whats with this bromance between Putin and Trump " I love the way Putin responded using such masterful brevity to questions around some of Trumps controversial policies and views towards the EU " Trump is not a career politician " .....boy did the world learn that the hard way, Putin doesn't need to point that one out to those of us suffering from the geopolitical hangover of " Trump is going to drain the swamp and make America great again ", many people have had to live with this for the last 4 years ............ But its time to move on and " bring the nation together " so this is not the time for a Trump witch-hunt and to be fair Trump did somethings that I support and had positive outcomes Lastly if you said to me " what, if anything, was the most pertinent thing you learnt from the clip" Putin could have done what many world leaders have done and immediately recognized Biden or indirectly criticized Trump by saying things like " we are looking forward to the old way the USA use to operate being restored " But he clearly really likes Trump and appreciates how Trump did try to extend the hand of new friendship and improved cooperation towards him and Russia. I respect that in the sense he is not pandering to the understandable anti-Trump sentiment So I learnt there is a real connection from Putins side towards Trump and its more than just political expediency and economic objectives

It would have been very useful for me to learn Russian or Ukrainian in the days when I use to frequent strip clubs ....my " friends " also would have appreciated it, I like the way you operate Malc

Why you learning Russian?

I think that is definitely a real possibility and has some really unique advantages but it could be lonely unless you are fine travelling alone at times which many of us are. Also you wouldn't be a hobo at all ...thats a negative definition of what you would be doing on retirement. I would define it as " a traveler, unburdened by state borders and cumbersome definitions of what we call a home "...the whole of the USA could be your home ....think of all the amazing things you will witness that you have always wanted to see in the USA? And you could rent space in many caravan parks\national parks which could be exactly like a home, that you could return to if you feel like you need to reconnect with people , and you would meet other people who have similar views like you who prefer the open road lifestyle. Also if you have revenue stream, which you will have, you would have a great quality of life and using an RV you will save money generally ? There are people I have met who live this life and they very happy ..but what about the dogs ?

There are some examples of the Senate voting against what Trump wanted, like I mentioned Trump wanted to remove the sanctions imposed on Russia due to its illegal annexation of Crimea in Ukraine The Senate didnt agree to this and it shouldn't matter what year this occurred in because we are reflecting on his entire presidency. But yes it was in 2017 https://www.reuters.com/article/us-USA-trump-russia-sanctions-idUSKBN1AC1U8 There were good intentions around some of Trumps political strategies but the policy decisions were problematic. You have a real problem in the USA and other countries around illegal immigration so the concept of " The Wall " was about addressing this ....intention was good as illegal immigration cannot be just accepted in any country but the way the Trump presidency went about it was controversial and illegal in certain cases But I do agree that there was no pushback initially from Republicans but from about last week several Republicans did speak out against what Trump was doing by refusing to accept Bidens victory, like Romney https://www.towleroad.com/2020/11/ben-sasse-mitt-romney/

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/11/11/coronavirus-vaccine-russia-says-its-vaccine-is-92percent-effective.html Russia is saying its vaccine is about 90 % effective, I am not convinced this is true but I hope it is There vaccine is also cheaper than Pizer but not Oxford. Any vaccine that helps stop the pandemic spread is good news for me irrespective where it comes from
-
Its hyperbole to suggest that the Trump presidency was nothing short of a civil war....there are many things Trump wasnt able to implement due to legal challengers and his own Republican party pushback. He was a disruptor and he also tried to implement policies that you personally may find problematic but there was a good intention to them or many US citizens supported. This is far from the idea of the seriousness of "Trump has broken the US" and yes the US has survived the risk of a Trump unintentional meltdown For example he was not able to remove the Russian sanctions and the Senate, Republican controlled , refused to entertain this. Also he tried very hard to dismiss the legitimate election results, straight away this is something that answers your question. It could have been much worse if Trump had succeeded in this and I can give you other examples if required

Yes, I hear you. I cant add anything else to your post. I am extremely disappointed with some of the views from countries like the USA, and media houses like FOX, from people who seem to dismiss the science ....its a good topic and one worth trying to understand and worthy of a detailed discussion to get peoples perspectives I plan to create a topic specifically around this but not at the moment as sometimes I need to take breaks from important but frustrating debates
-
Informative post but I definitely wont be supporting the " anti-vaxxers " because if you reject the proven science behind vaccinations, in the case of Corona, you are indirectly and directly not helping to address the virus spread and infection rate People throughout the world are dying from this virus and the most effective strategy to allow our lives to return to normal requires acceptance of the vaccine and initially continuing to follow "best virus prevention " like wearing masks and avoiding indoor crowded places like clubs and bars
-
Fair enough, one cannot argue that bad leadership in any example feeds down and inculcates a real outcome of bad decisions on the ground. I would say this is irrefutable and indubitable Sorry for repeating myself but I will add as my last point on this particular discussion is sometimes " bad apple " behavior is used to vilify the entire institution and its not fair or constructive in the long term

I enjoyed Vampyr, you should use a Controller as once you start understanding the combat mechanics the game grows on you Also I normally always play a good character and I would never go around drinking peoples blood, unless its by agreement, but you have to in Vampyr to progress and win certain battles ....I did enjoy that part of it and only felt a little guilty killing the occasional innocent -
https://www.mid-day.com/articles/donald-trump-virtually-concedes-defeat-agrees-to-joe-biden-transition/23106205 Great news, belated news but great news. Trump has finally accepted the Biden victory and will accept the transition period This is good for the world and the fight against the virus
