    Just for anyone else experiencing this bug, I haven't seen anyone post any solutions but i managed to fix this. I too have an ultrawide monitor and my game was perma zoomed in fov after the javamatic cut scene. This makes me think its an ultra-wide only problem which i guess not many people run into and hence why its still in the game lol. The only way i was able to fix this was by restarting my PC and opening disc clean up from the search bar. From there i went through every drive and deleted every directX shader cache (I also cleaned up all the other files but i doubt that made any impact). When i next loaded the game my FOV was fixed. I hope this helps anyone else who runs into this issue as I have found 0 information online about it
