Zatoichi (Japanse movie about a blind swordsman)
-
Well...you started it, didn't you . You're welcome btw
-
Netherlands or Holland, whatever you guys prefer. And indeed...the world was born in Africa first... the womb of the world.
-
Hi LT I'm supposed to have at least 3 characters in my name, so I had to put in some other stuff in it as well. Seems I got you interested in this thread as well, didn't I?
-
Curious about Project X and hoping to see that these boards will be as flourishing as the ol' BIS ones
-
First of all any discussion isn't about a big mouth, but arguments and facts, so not being good at discussion doesn't mean having such topics around are necessarily bad. It might even teach you some new insights/skill (provided you're open for critic of course). I don't see no reason why a political discussion shouldn't be put here at WOT. I'm sure there are better forums/platforms for those, but it doesn't mean it should be left out of here. As long as it is played by the rules.

I'd fancy a good sound composer or whatever the exact title is.

Problem with IPLY was that over 70% was in hands of a certain french dude, focused on money, rather than the honey. What's the story behind Eidos anyway? I don't see why I shouldn't be able to 'help' out by buying stock. Or let it be a certificate without voting rights, so that OBS can run itself, without interference of a hostile (shortterm) investors? Or is such a thing not possibly in the US?
-
Curious again... will you guys be having stock for some additional funds. I might be interested in buying some (as well supporting the (RP)G industry), not to mention making sure a good game might be made (I'll consider myself a longterm investor ).

Given the restrictions on not to give away about the publisher, contents of the game, I don't think it's restricted for Obsidian to tell us what they are *not* going to do. (sort of reverse psychology) Sort of like 20 Questions :D
-
@ Sammael: You think that to be likely, especially with the restrictions the unknown publisher has put upon OBS regarding spreading info on Project X?
-
Starving the monsters a bit will garantee that the whenever meat comes in, the show will be spectacular. I'm sure the devs are spending their weekends with their family and will be posting soon. I'd prefer they'd be working fulltime on project X and now and then slip us some info.
-
Would it be a good idea to list the people currently working at OBS and those who worked for BIS and post that somewhere? (here?) But I'm happy for Obsidian but also aware not to be too happy. People aren't everything, people do change. I just hope I'm wrong, and that OBS can prove that by developing one heck of a game !
-
Am I the first to register with my original name? Anyhow...the avy is from Dexter's Lab, a character called Action Hank. A very rugged and cool dude.
-
I wouldn't know...since I don't know how far along OBS is in their development process. It's a big fog of war about Project X it is right now without dev. feedback (if any, due to the restrictions laid down by the publishers)

Google turnes out with: Blackmoon (GBA) by Skaven Software Blackmoon (some sort of ftp server) Blackmoon (some sort of expansion to Odyssey) by Cryo Blackmoon (some sort of bishoujo/hentai RPG) So much for any actual names.

I'd have appreciated if there was some adm/mod online the moment these forums are up. Now it's a bit of chaotic at times.
-
Most of us are from the forums.interplay.com, and before that from the old BIS (Black Isle Studios) forum. We are sort of hitchhiking with the developers. :D
-
Did you use that option before you posted? Since this is your first post, searching for earlier posts of yourself does result in nothing. btw: Just testing it myself: no problem!
-
Call me a dreamer... I'm in such a need of a good new RPG (but not putting all my eggs in Obsidian's basket). I'll give Obsidian the benefit of the doubt in any case.
-
Maybe... I'm keeping up hopes... :D
-
I wonder if there ever has been a good game in the Asian or African continent setting? If not, that it would be a nice start rather than those 'safe' American/European/Futuristic settings the games have nowadays.
-
The first few (dozens of?) posts were okay, and indeed, now the old sores are coming up. Not a good start indeed.
-
On second thought (and spending a few hours on the forum), I'd say that having white quote border isn't so bad afterall. Only the double-quote-boxes is a bit troublesome.
-
I don't think if you keep replying like this will help much. Best not to respond at all in these cases. Feedback = fuel. Visceris is in his right to post his opinion, and if he's going to far, the adm/mod will surely intervene.
