Just finished my first playthough. Took me about 20 hours or so, so not bad really. Had a blast with the game, really enjoyed it. The plotline was fun. I went Rome > Moscow > Taipei Ended up with Mina. I was freelance/operative and speced in Stealth, pistols, sabotage with a few ranks in Toughness and capped Martial Arts (as a secondary skill). Beat Deng down with kung fu. Pistols is almost cheating at high level, Even big bosses are maybe 2 chain shots and done. Was fun though. My one real gripe was WHY does the stealth armor look like someones BMX gear? If you want to be stealthy you don't have hard plastic/metal all over you. Stuff looked horrid. I ended up in tactical armor, and just took the stealth hit. I do not understand the low ratings, as the game was very fun and enjoyable to me, did not want to stop playing, and am about to start my recruit playthrough. ) Awesome job Obsidian! You even have an excellent ending finally! (Yeah I have been critical regarding the poor endings of Kotor2 and NWN2) but MOTB and SOZ were good and this is awesome! KUDOS!

The PC-version is great. I've always been a fan of aiming with a mouse, so If you prefer fps with a mouse, the eanswer is obvious. The only annoying bug I found is with hacking. You do one part with the keyboard and one with the mouse, but the mouse part is kinda buggy. That's it though. Okay so I am not the only one who finds it that way? It does not seem to move properly, going to try and change its dpi when I hack to see if that helps.

it looks like it is installing either a corrupted build or in the wrong language. My binaries looks nothing like that. That is messed up, let me check my install... nope, mine is normal. have you tried to uninstall and reinstall?

chain shot is awesome from stealth at range. I was clearing warehouses with it in Saudi. As long as the guards are a bit away from each other, and not looking at one another you can snipe with it.

took me about 6 hours to finish saudi mission. have to Work tomorrow or I would play more. I did do every mission in Saudi, made sure to do all the tutorials, etc. but still 6 hours and I am just really getting started is not bad at all. If each hub is about the same length, then I figure 25-30 hours for me. Nice.

sorry was playing Alpha Protocol. Yes Gamersgate is giving out the serial when you preorder, they jumped the gun. So if you buy from there it is playable right away. 6 hours in, just finished Sahara, this game is going to take me way longer than 10 hours.

Actually, as I have already paid for my preorder at a local Gamestop I saw this, thought . . . Hmmm, got some spare change, lets see if I can get a jump on this... When you buy the game from Gamersgate.com you IMMEDIATELY get the serial number for the game. now if that is what is stopping you from playing . . . then yeah if you buy from them you can play right away. I will know in a few hours (when the dl stops)

I hate that in game design. Bioware does that as well (I hope not in the SWTOR MMO).

If you noticed, he did not talk to hardly anyone, but who he needed, he killed everyone, his handler hated him, by the end of the game there was 1 person who liked him (the reporter). From watching his run, i am pretty convinced that it will be about 20+ for me. That makes it a short game, but that seems to be the norm more and more. I know you could get through Dragon Age fast, but it took me 52 hours. What is interesting to me is now I have seen his play through, I am curious as to how different mine will be in regards to choices i make that he did not. The best comment was made when he was waffling on killing someone and one of the users wrote "Just pretend it is a girl . . . " as he was killing the strippers/hookers as he went through.

Think you're onto something. In Fallout: NV, they're going to have us start off being patched up by a doctor as well The story isn't written by Avellone though. His awesome influence is spreading throughout the company. . .
