  1. Yup, you guys have lost me to RDR, but only for a couple of months, being in Canada sucks due to the tax they have up here putting new games at almost $80 dollars, but since I'll be in Houston this time next week I get to pick up RDR for a cheaper price, god bless the USA. So now onto the real question I had, what is the price you have to put up with for new games? And are you thinking of picking up RDR? ps: For anyone that didn't know what RDR meant until a couple days ago it stands for Red Dead Redemption, just thought that I would clear it up for you.
  2. The guy sucked balls, that's all I can say for the gameplay for those vids, some of the commentary was somewhat funny to listen to. And who knows with that AI, maybe it's like MGS4 character AI, on easy they are retards and on Hard they are complete bad-asses. But like they said from the video this is a pre-alpha build of the game so there are bugs to be had in it, the good thing is that with previews that are like this the devs can look at the bugs and hopefully fix them by the launch date for the game.
  3. What game is this from? That sure doesn't look like the game we have been waiting for, now if that is a set of armor in the game then freaking awesome. But really? Looks more along the lines the game Dark Void or something more sci-fi.
  4. Here's a question, how will we go from one HUB to the next? Is it just a teleport feature that we use or does it show a quick cut-scene where you go on a plane and such? And if it's the second option, how cool would it be to have your plane hijacked? Now that would be awesome, being able to take out the hijackers with force or try to talk em out of it.
  5. Just the natural talent of raw oner-awesome? Or you could just use Chrome
  6. 20-30 hours for an RPG is quite good, but when you look at (dare I say it) Bioware games, or even Bethesda games, it seems to be the norm to make the single player that long. Okay, so you CAN get through a Bethesda RPG in just a couple hours if you just do the main quest, but their games are more of messing around and doing the side quests rather then just doing the main story. But if the 20-30 hour set is if you just do the main story and no side quests then I will be a very happy person.
  7. Not only do you have to download it from PSN, but you have to have a EU account and buy it from their online store. So if your in any of the countries that use the EU PSN store then your in luck, just input money and download. And if your like me and are in the USA managed part of the globe, then just wait for June 1st, I mean how much info could they have?
  8. I laughed when I found out what paramour meant. For those that still don't know what it means it's this "A lover, especially one in an adulterous relationship." Ripped straight from thefreedictionary.com so you know it's correct
  9. So I guess in theory, I could take on an entire embassy mission only wearing Bermuda shorts, no shirt and stealth kill everyone in the place, this could get fun...
  10. So what are the restrictions on the items that I have to wear? From some of the videos it shows us decked out in light-heavy armor and in others it looks like all we are wearing is hospital scrubs. I'm okay if the game makes us start a mission or two with a certain set of things. Like at the start of the game, I would be fine if they make us wear combat armor due to us still being under contract from a parent company. And I will also be fine if they make us wake up in a hospital in scrubs or a gown, just as long as I was knocked out or drugged first. But will the game make us wear certain attire to certain areas? I mean, I was really looking forward to smashing the intel guy's head in on the table while wearing a floral print button up and khaki shorts. Sure it won't fit the area and I will be sticking out like a sore thumb, but hell, it's what I wanted to wear that day. Also, they showed Michel wearing a tux in a couple screen shots, do I have to wear the tux or can I come dressed up in a polo and jeans? I'm not saying give us a choice of running through the game wearing a bear suit (even though that would be awesome sauce over this game) but what choices do we have on our apparel?
  11. A question/speculation on the way they showed how you would hack a computer. How? All I saw was a bunch of stuff flying around that screen and two different 'codes' to find in the mess. I guess we can just hope for a really good tutorial explaining how to do it, or a dev to tell us what's up with it. But right now, that just looks like it's going to give me a brain spasm.
  12. Doesn't that mean a better game for us? Complicated at launch = Awesome game from the get go Complicated after launch = Takes some time for people to get into
  13. I have no idea if any of those guns will make it into the game personally. I just thought that this thread was for guns that you think would be cool to have in the game itself, sorry for not making that clear in my original post.
  14. I would add some more pistols to your list. MK23 SOCOM Desert Eagle Raging Bull Magnum (aka the Taurus .44) GLOCK (can't have a game without it) 92FS Beretta Russian made makarov (can't have a spy game without it) And as for SmG's well... MP5-N/MP5-SD (H&K for those that don't know) MP5K P90 UZI KRISS (It's called the Vector on MW2) UMP45 Then we go into Shotguns and it gets harder. Spas 12 (one of the most infamous shotguns in the world) AA-12 (Can't really get behind this one, it jams WAY to often irl to be effective) Striker (Very good, would much rather walk in with this over the AA-12) Then we have Assault Rifles (This could get long-ish) M4A1 M16 AK47 AK74 L98 FAMAS Bushmaster ACR Steyr AUG A3 XM8 (I wouldn't choose the thing, it's all plastic) SCAR-H SCAR-L F2000 G36C FAL G3 And that's about all I can think of off the top of my head. Now If they had said Sniper Rifles were an available weapon in the game then this list would have another dozen or so guns on it. Any one else care to add to the lists?
  15. I guess having several HUB's that you go between to do missions is an alright system to do, but I would rather just get E-mails to do wet work or gathering intel for one person or the other. If this is as big an RPG that they have so far lead me to believe, I expect side missions, and a ton of side missions. Now I'm not sure if i'm contradicting myself or not from Pop's post but don't blame me, up until now I have never even heard of a game called Bloodlines.
  16. I plan on being this guy... Total douche. Crude. Super tool. Somehow awesome at what he does. Seems to never die. Gets the girls he wants. Can't seem keep the secret of him being a secret agent. Luckiest SoB alive. Always wears a $900 dollar slightly darker then black turtle neck, because armor is for people that want to get shot. Is sad when he isn't buzzed from a drink. Loud and obnoxious. Even more bad ass then the three JB's. (James Bond, Jason Bourne, Jack Bauer) No joke, that is how I want to play this game.
  17. Just saying they haven't said a thing about going back into mission areas, or even a free roam-ish area, to do the grind to get the new things. And this being the most unusual RPG setting it could be really weird the way they do it, and this could very well make or break a good portion of the game.
  18. I was wondering how they will go about letting us go back through an area. From looking at all the toys in the game (Guns, gear, gadgets, sunglasses, turtlenecks ect.) and from all the money rolls the people in the demos seem to be looting from every guy they breath on, it would seem to me that the main story missions are just one way to earn the green. So I was wondering how they are going to implement us going back through and playing an area? I doubt they will just let us walk out to a place and shoot stuff up. But I also doubt that this is going to be just one long trip on the main story. Not to mention how hard it would be to explain to the cops why you were walking around an enemy base in your free time. So is it going to be wet work for oil companies or security work for diplomats?
