    they only snap opposite of each other, so one will curve in the opposite direction than the other.

    Centipede, this would be a even harder bug than the spider as it has a strong venom and is very mobile and can bend it's body so that it can't get stuck.

    bee mounts would be the best bug for air mount, and an ant could be used to carry grass planks and weed stems.

    mortar cannon: could use a bratburst to launch peblets out of a hollow weed stem.

    catapults and trebuchets are great for long range fights with spiders and large groups of bugs.
