Yet games like S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, with so many game-breaking bugs in it you could fill a planet, gets a score of 8.5 from certain reviewers. You dare to claim objectivity while it's abundantly clear there is none. It's a giant subjective mess that's being manipulated by some self-proclaimed authority figures resulting in a consensus of the masses. But it's ok, though.. Most people can't handle freedom and need authority (figures) in order to function properly.

On my first run I had Mina, which was according to plan. Unfortunately, not so much to plan, she died later in the game.. Second run I was curious and got my hands on all 4 of the ladies. Sie took me quite by surprise, though, since I was pretty sure I had missed the opportunity with her, in Russia. Luckily, however, she came back for some unrestrained action later on.

I truly wish I could understand the disappointment with this game but alas.. I'm enjoying AP so much I'm on my third playthrough already. For me Obsidian is one of those rare (and underappreciated) game developers that know how to create something with actual *replay value*. Even KOTOR 2, in all its bugginess, had way more replay value than the 1st KOTOR. Can't wait to see what they did with the upcoming Fallout New Vegas!

Those crazy critics almost had me convinced not to buy this game as well. I'm so glad my stubbornness got the upper hand eventually and made me purchase it anyway. This game turned out to be one of those gems that I never want to erase from my HDD! I'm also baffled by all the reports of bugs. I've been playing through this game twice now (which is more than I normally do with any game) and I've only encountered some very minor glitches that are hardly worth mentioning. I've had other (highly praised) games CTD on me numerous times but AP has yet to crash once! I would actually say this game is less buggy than most. I really hope Obsidian will consider making another AP, or an EP at least.
