2) The level design needs work. Too often I'll come across two unlocked doors. Go down one until I hit what looks like an area transition, run all the way back to the other one, and check it out. Sometimes this leads to a back and forth as the area transition wasn't really the area transition. But the other one definitely is and you can't go back. It needs some better signposting of what areas you can't return from. And to build up trust that you'll get to go back to the fork pressing forward. It doesn't have that.
That's interesting, I'm playing through Dead Space 1-2 right now and I can't stop being happy about the breadcrumb system helping me with exploration.

I don't know what to say. This seems like a supermassive fail to me. Those twin-linked lascannons got completely absorbed by a single stack of sandbags? According to the Rogue Trader rulebook, page 246 sandbags has an AP of 8, a lascannon has a Pen rating of 10, and does 5d10+10 damage ontop of that. Unplayable, they need to go back to the drawing board with this.
AKSHUALLY those aren't cannons.

On my second attempt to play Persona 5 on my PS4 (a year or two back) I quit during the first dungeon because I was done playing for the night and couldn't find anywhere I was allowed to save. Looks like that hasn't changed with Royale, but hopefully being on PC it's less inconvenient, not least because I can actually stand to game for extended sessions on PC, as opposed to an hour or so when console gaming. I assume the game is not meaningfully moddable in this regard but when I do get around to starting again I'll have a look if there are any meaningful mods at all.
Talking about Stardew Valley made me research that huge fan-made expansion a bit. Not going to commit to it just yet, but impressive that it seems to have its own comprehensive wiki just like the base game.
I don't know if the feature was added with Royal, but safe/save rooms inside dungeons are a thing.

Stardew Valley is anything but cozy when you're sprinting across town to try to beat the clock. Sure, sometimes failing to do so might mean waiting until the next day. But it could also mean waiting to the next *year*.
While I agree for sure, there's at least one mod to slow down the clock.

Persona 5 Royal, though I'm only two weeks in.

I've been playing the Darktide closed beta this weekend and it's tons of fun, though there are some obvious beta flaws.

16 Ways to kill a vampire at McDonald's
It's a short, free adventure game, I enjoyed it.

Hmm, was it so short that it’s already over? I can’t see it mentioned anywhere.
