I'm done logging in as Gorgon I think. I get two factor authentication prompts that I can't skip. The thing is, I haven't really had two factor authentication since I lost my phone about two years ago.

mmm.. I can't remember that much about the first one. Avatar 2, it's more apparently a children's movie. There are recognizable themes of family and friendships and such that identify it as such. But it's not bad at all for what it is.

NATO responded more out of a sense of gratitude towards the US for the resources it had poured into the alliance, as well as in realization that it was the first time anyone had ever activated the "musketeer oath". If it didn't respond the one time it was actually needed, that might pose some serious questions as to its future usefulness.
But, it's actually pretty dubious whether there was any threat to US territory. Which was always the situation imagined.
It was a case of "close enough". I suppose. Article 5 is the fire alarm, you can't have it not work, it has to work.

The civilians are probably helping Ukrainians with intel in any way they can, so when the Russians go from door to door searching for Nazis or collaborators the answer is probably that everyone is "guilty". It's not unlike how the Germans were ordered to shoot Jews and commissars on sight, and pretty soon everyone and their grandmother was a Jew or a commissar.

Got 3/4 of the way through Elden Ring and ran out of steam. It looks really great, the atmosphere is really good, but compared to Darksouls the fighting mechanics are weak. You spam a "win button" spell or weapon art to beat the majority of the bosses, the most successful builds have no variety at all. Too many of the bosses are so large you can't tell what's going on or what you should be doing. So far I had tried to keep things interesting by learning to parry everything I could, and by sapping between 4 - 5 weapons and shields on the go for different effects. But, eventually the options narrow towards just spamming your best weapon art, or dying constantly.

Your antibodies get a firmware update whether you get sick or not. I believe the odds are around better than even, 75%, I can't remember, of not becoming sick if you had 3 shots. At this time at least where I'm at, there is no word of another shot.
One should also remember that people who have been vaccinated 3 times are more likely to die from regular flu, than Omicron. That's a different level of risk calculation than we have been used to.

I should note that this is completely analogous to authorities picking the exact right moment to administer a booster shot, for instance. It's calculated to maximize protection while the threat is the highest.

I don't imagine medical technology will change drastically in the space of a few months. You can, however, make use of an additional 10 -15% protection if you are exposed before the effect tapers off.
The good news is that you come out of the omicron wave with very high immunity across the whole of society.

But you can't, not with Omicron BA2, it's many times more transmissible than the measles. The wave is much shorter and peaks much higher. Which means, at it's peak, unless you can literally stay at home for 1-2 months, you will be exposed.

I just went to buy some shoes, and everyone speaks Russian, or Ukrainian, not like I can tell the difference. It's bizarre. Like waking up in another country.
It's a nice day out, and the refugees are all out shopping for things they left behind.
