I did make and publish a mod that replaces the title screen with plain beautiful black, not to everyone's taste's perhaps, but for me I like the simplicity. The mod also renders invisible the Versus Evil startup logo and hides the news tab of the title screen. Thanks again @Kvellen for the helpful information. Hey, does anyone know if Kaz has an Art Station page or any other place where you can see his portfolio? Also, did he by any chance paint the background image for PoE when you have the White March DLC installed?

Does anyone know which artist made this image. I love it so much more than Deadfire's main menu background. I wonder if they were done by the same person.

@Kvellen I think I found said files or references to them. One of those files is named "MainMenu_BG_Far-sharedassets1.assets-24.png" and I extracted it from this asset file: "...Pillars of Eternity II\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\sharedassets4.assets". Thanks for your help.

@Kvellen Thanks for the instant response! I figured it might be as you said. I remember wanting to edit the UI of PoE 1 and finding it very difficult to locate those elements. I did make and publish a mod that replaced the intro movies of that game with nothing but black. I might try and do the same thing here with that title screen. From the image you shared though, it looks like you unpacked the right asset. If you remember which asset file it was please share that info with me.

Thanks for the late post! You have saved my eyes and my sanity, with your little edit. A title screen is the first thing I see when I sit down to play a game. Ideally that screen should lead you into the game excited, delighted or otherwise ready to enjoy yourself. The last thing I want to see when starting any game is news or advertising, even from studios I love about products they make. The less stuff competing for my visual attention the better. You've taken that bitter taste that was in my mouth away my sour mood is easing.

After successfully modding Pillars of eternity to skip some graphics when loading and then installing 2 mods that moddify the UI, I took it upon myself to make a mod that will change the wooden texture and size of the box that pops up when the player engages anyone in conversation. I have spent hours digging through the game folder and exploring the assets but I can't seem to find the files or the data related to what I want to do. Any leads?
