  1. Yet, you have all this with free MMO's... And you will have it with the next expansion.... But let's not get started on this because it is neverending story But no, that's not it. It is as simply as this: if I want to play with someone, i'll get out with my friends. A game is singleplayer (or coop, if you push me), not gathering with some random.... If I paly a game, it is I who has to complete it, not force me to chat with someone else hoping to find someone willing to party to become even possibly to success in next mission.
  2. lol Hopefully when it is released it will be practically bugfree. Here's where the delay comes from...
  3. Yeah, it's called curiosity for the prophans, and it comes when you like a specific fantasy universe (SW in this case) and want to find out more through novels, games and material related to it and expanding it. usually comes with discussions of philosophy, politics, ect on said 'verse. I think pretty much everyone suffers it in major or minor degree...
  4. hope is last thing to be lost, that we say in catalan... So, unless someone officially confirms there will be no KOTOR 3 nomatterwhat, let's keep it alive...
  5. Um... It could be, since i've never replayed a 1.0 K2 since it's release... but I'd sware that there was a "circle of interaction" in one of the computers in that room... Also it could be what you said. Considering the dialog with T3 there... Thanks anyway

  7. Well, all we know about is of a MMO in the KOTOR 'verse, not K3. That is held with maximum secrecy? Possible. That a MMO CAN be K3? Unlikely but plausible. That is in development? Possible. Hell, it is even possible that K3 is even packed for release next christmas for all that we know. I guess we'll just have to wait and see (how strange, huh? ) how Force unleashed works out and how the MMO works out and wait some more for official confirmation that K3 is indeed in development and will bring closure (an actual end) to the saga. Let's hope for it, at least.
  8. So... I've been wandering. I remember on my first playthrough that on the same room where T3 is held in the Taris Academy there was an accessible computer were you had to make something. With the subsequent patches it was eliminated. What was it's purpose? Did it have something to do with the locked navigation computer removed quest?
  9. Well, no one said K3 was being made by Bio. The confirmation must come either from Lucas Arts and/or the developer in question. Be it Obsidian, Bioware or whomever is making it. The direction you gave it is only for projects regarding to Bio AND LA. If K3 is made by, let's say, Demiurge Studios, it won't appear on that direction but on LA's page or on Demiurge's page. If it is made by Bio, then yes it will appear on that page.
  10. In a way this is what K2 tries to make. I see K2 as a study of the Force through the eyes of someone that has been ripped off it and gradually re-aquires the affinity with it. Partially, I believe this is one of the reasons (or the main one) because K2 was so criticized: introducing a bit of philosophy in the SW 'verse, looking it a bit more deeply than usually.
  11. Absolutely! I can see jealous backstabbing when Revan, Exile, Atton and Bastila gather... Seriously though, if a four member party was implemented would be easier to choose your companions. I always missed someone else to complete the party in both games: in K1 I usually carried Canderous and HK or Juhani and Jolee, and I missed either Jolee or T3 (for the first group) and Canderous or HK for the second goup; in K2 I carried either Kreia and Mira or Kreia and Mandalore. Occasionally Brianna or Visas. With four characters I could have my most used chars in the same party... But it has to be very well balanced... I mean, if an army of three delivered havoc and utter-doom to any battlefields they were, imagine an army of four. It would be the damn apocalypse!
  12. There are sylver crystals that are in the practice white, and I recall reading somewhere of a black lightsaber that didn't make it to the programming. it would be cool though... <Insert Name>: "I am the one who brings the black death... kneel before me!"
  13. Exactly: thae main plot left AFTER the frozen Throne. Wow doesn't add per se new factions or world places. It is all a continuation of WC3. You don't introduce a new threat in WoW: it is just the continuation of the conflict on the perspective of a "foot soldier" instead of the one leading the armies, that would be WC4. As always, it depends on how it is handled. But WC4 can perfectly be settled in the defeat of Arthas. You being the one leading the armies of the Alliance or the horde. You just cannot have this sort of closure in a MMO. WC is not about the fighting itself (like WoW), but of the war effort: resources, preparing armies, and yes, making the battles, but not of a single men: of the whole battalion, of the whole army. Again, if this MMO is held during hte K3 "war", you will be either a foot soldier, a low rank officer or a base jedi (don't know if padawan or jedi knight). In other words, an anonimous fighter. you can't be The One, the Leader of the armies. There can be only one Mandalore, if you get my point. K3 will be about the leader, not the base soldiers.
  14. Heh... Post-traumatic stress of the events of manaan? Didn't know that huge firazan shark was called Sovereign.... And this engages with the theory of Trask being sucked by a wormhole and left in the Citadel...
  15. From what i've heard warcraft IV may come along. Or at least blizzard has said that IF the team wants to make it, they can make it. But my point stays valid. WoW is not Warcraft IV.
  16. Nor partially nor entirely. It doesn't replace it. Period. if you are used to drink lemon juice and suddently you are given an orange juice, it just isn't the same eventhough both are citric juices. K3 (if done) will be a single player RPG that will either expand the lifespan of the series or close the triology. You can't just get the Age of Empires licence, make a RPG and say "Here! There you have AoE IV". It would spoil the saga. you can make a RPG BASED on that 'verse, but not the continuation of the saga. With this MMO (I hope) happens the same. It isn't K3. It is just a game based on it's 'verse. Like WoW with warcraft. It isn't Warcraft IV, can't be it because they are two different kinds of game with different public and different goals.
  17. Haven't tried to go for a Sith lord yet. Maybe the LS runthrough is more polished than the DS...
  18. I like very much double silver, but in this playthrough i'm going Silver on the main and viridian on the other. If I find a pair for either I might make a change though... To the OP, i'd say also to put in the lightsaber the colour you like most. All this of a colour according to the class is just nonsense... I even go red lots of times without being DS (i just like the looks of it)
  19. There is another fix one in nar shada, with that rodian merchant. When completed the missions (I don't remember if one or both), i always find a silver crystal, and (I don't remember well) a viridian crystal.
  20. I'll have to explain some of mine some day of these...
  21. But what kind of society are you promoting if you condone a cold-blooded murder when it suits your purposes (or when it is done by one of your own). What society am I condoning if I interpret my moral choices so strictly that the Republic might lose the war as a result? Am I not indirectly condoning the Sith, if I do that? Don't get me wrong - letting Sunry off the hook is absolutely not fair. He did the crime and deserves punishment. But he was being manipulated the sith, who did fabricate evidence to incriminate him. And if he hadn't killed that Elassa, she would have done something nasty to him somewhere down the road. Clearly having him exposed is exactly what the sith want, and in and of itself that should give (and did) give me pause as to what choice to make. Having some overidealistic lightsider reveal the entire thing would make the sith cheer, since it plays right into their hands. You cannot be blind to that. Good means neither stupid nor ignoring something inconvenient. There are choices when you must do a little evil. The republic hiding proof has nothing to do with the Sith inventing them? If Sunry was minimally smart he should have reported to the ambassador. They would have arranged everything for an "accident". Or at least for Sunry's hiding/protection. What is not ethical is having created the conditions for terrorism to appear. That said, there are ways of having that information without torture: through persuasion and psicology. You maybe need a high skill, but is is surely possible. And you can detect the radiation. An atomic bomb wouldn't be a problem unless the government permits it to be one. IF they are smart they won't touch your family. They have family also, and there is no more dangerous man than one seeking vengeance with nothing to loose... Besides, what motives should they have to touch your family unless you are a politician or a high command (police or army, it's the same)? Nothing justifies torture.
  22. You dirty moderator you! Playing cards with Handmaiden your a evil one. No wonder she doesn't want to play pazaak with poor old Atton... They play Strip-pazaak! And she is dying for that exile that is charismatic enough to manage to make her take out her clothes but too shy to declare his feelings to her... Anyway, and back on topic, the stats look good for me, and you can add to defence inverting a few points on dex (through items or actual points, as you wish), and through force powers. Enjoy! PD: welcome to the forums
  23. This explains it then. I've had masteries of Mira, Handmaiden, and Visas at least, in all my playthroughs, and since I've went in all of them as Jedi Master... That must be it. This or KSE (yes, I'm guilty... )
  24. That was a hell of a dream... The game must have absorbed you completely, since that sort of dreams are of things that you have done during the day and your subconscient is trying to process it... Or, if you believe in dream interpretation you will have a hell of a test of some sort. Maybe a known uknown, if you get my point...
