I did alot of testing with pretty much all classes for the Ultimate and Disintegration kills Hauani O Whe (Big black ooze) instantly, without him splitting up into multiple oozes. You just need to apply Disintegration on Big Ooze and it needs to die WHILE he is under the effect of Disintegration. He does NOT need to die from the tick of Disintegration. You can try it out if you want. That's why Priest/Cipher is also a nice choice for the Ultimate. Disintegration is insane for single target. I would play it as Skaen/Ascendant, because you can extend your Ascendant buff with SoT + Brillant and get +3 Power Level + free casting cipher abilites permanently. I managed to buff Disintegration up to 600 raw damage total. Unfortunatelly AoE isn't that great as Skaen/Ascendant unless you get to level 19 and get Holy Storm of Fire from Priest. The Cipher AoE spells are quite bad imo.

@thelee: I agree, of course. Skaen/BM is really good, I have made it aswell with that class combo. But triggering Brilliant gets insanely annoying after you have failed like 15 runs already, like me =D ___ I am currently working on a SC monk, I am still figuring out 4 more boss fights, then I would try to do SC monk Ultimate. Probably already starting this weekend. Still uploading my current run at the same time #GermanInternetConnectionGG while working on my SC monk run, lol. After doing some boss fights as monk, I can tell that it is alot more fun than proccing Brilliant and overbuffing yourself. As a monk you just enter the fight, throw in 2 buffs and you are good to go. The only problem is Vela ... I still have to quicksave/quickload alot of times because positioning of Vela is really tough. WotW spamm is really nice but unfortunatelly you lose aggro because you are "invis" and the enemies start running back to their old position/spawn point. Does anyone know a good way of "dropping" Vela somewhere safely as a monk before starting a fight or maybe a way to immobilize her as a monk ? Could not find anything useful yet.
-
Really ? I died quite often there. Happenend too often that I got grabbed multiple times in a row while Vela dies beacuse BDD runs out. But I guess everyone has his personal preferences =D My personal three horror fights that I am always afraid of are: - Battle Royale - Nemnok - Water Drake Everything else is quite easy, as a Priest/Wizard, especially when the enemy encounter has no Arcane Cleanse or Arcane Dampener. You literally cannot die.
-
I am doing it similiar for the water drake (Scyorielaphas). But the strategy that works for me consistently with 0 risk dieing is as follows: - Solve the puzzle - Close interaction window - Cast Halt (Immobilize) on Vela - Go through the door (because Vela is immobilized she stays alot closer to the door now) - When the fight starts run "into" the door, you can go quite deeper into it than you might think (because this way you are actually out of range for the grab attack from the Water Whips) - When the water drake casts his water wave there is roughly a chance of 50-60% that Vela gets pushed into the door, out of range from the Water Whips aswell. If not, it's not that bad because she is at least in range so you can cast SoT on both of you Starting with an Immobilize on her, worked alot better for me BEFORE you enter the room.

Honestly, you are right. After playing so much now ... It is really not that necessary. If you are playing as Priest/Wizard and you plan to kill Arkemyr OR to do the quest at Bekarnas Observatory anyways you can get around playing as Skaen, simply because you get an invisibility spell that is far superior to Shadowing Beyond. You can also just go for Berath to get free SoT. However, if you would multiclass priest/x with anything else than wizard I would recommend going Skaen because Shadowing Beyond helps alot resetting combat/aggro.

Thanks alot, Sir. My run is not officially approved because I am still uploading before I am able to send in the submit, but I can assure I haven't used any gamebreaking bugs/exploits. If Steam isn't lying I probably spent around 150 - 200 hours for tryharding on the Ultimate + a couple of hours reading the forums for every single hint/tip I could get.

I am actually so dedicated to this challenge that I will try to beat it with single class monk next. While I was doing my Ultimate-Run I did some heavy testing at the same time with other classes for specific encounters. Best classes/multiclasses that worked out for ME, next to Skaen/BM were: single class monk and Priest/Druid as Skaen/Ancient. I will probably go for a single class monk, because I am so rid of proccing Brilliant for every single fight. Annoying as hell ... Most dangerous encounters for a SC monk are, IMO; - All beast boss fights (because of random inspirations they get) esp. Jada and Belranga - Battle Royale fight at SSS - Ukaizo fight with 4x Megaboss-Buff can be really tough

Thank you, Sir. Unfortunatelly it is pretty much the same build as you did, but I honestly started playing Skaen/BM before I ever looked up what others are playing for the Ultimate. HOWEVER, I actually want to thank most of you guys, mainly those who are writing in the ultimate topic, because I took SOOO many advices and tips/help from you just by reading here the forums. Without these information I probably needed a couple more weeks to finish this or maybe even longer. Big thanks to Decadency, Raven aka Victor, thelee and Kaylon. You are the ones I personally took most information from. Thanks to everyone else of course aswell that did some contribution to "The Ultimate" topic. @Waski Skaen/Bloodmage Honestly I did so poorly on some of my parts on the playthrough .... It is actually realistic to dump down my personal routing/pathing to something between 8-9 hours playtime depending on Brillant procc AND more confidence in your buff uptime. This is my 15th run or something like that where I RIPed always somewhere around 7-8 hours playtime, I just finally wanted to make it save .... If I am done uploading, I'll give you the link ofc. But my internet connection is horrible as I said, it will take a while to upload.
-
O M G. I finally made it aswell. Currently uploading my files to youtube, but it may take a while because I only have like 1.5 Mbit upload. #Feelsbadman I f***ed up so hard in the end at Guardian of Ukaizo but still made it. Also my Deltro's Cage Helmet somehow bugged out and did nothing for the last part of my playthrough. Didn't work for Auranic, Ukaizo. No clue why. For the last part I was drinking some beer with a friend because I thought it will be easy anyways. But Guardian of Ukaizo was actually tanky as hell with the Megaboss Buff, almost died to a storm aswell like a noob.... You'll see it all when I am done uploading. I hope Obsidian will approve my run when I am done with the uploading.

Oh boy. Today I wanted to continue my run and this happened ... I guess another RIP. Epic bugs are epic. https://streamable.com/6w4i8 Edit: Was kinda forced to Alt + F4 and tried again but same bug occured. On my parallel run I do not get stuck there. Probably have to start all over. Savegame may be corrupted or something like that, no clue.

Hey guys I just noticed some weird bug during my ultimate runs. I only noticed it now while recording with OBS. I get an incorrect real-time when compared to my recorded one. I uploaded a picture to make it more clear. This bug however does not occur everytime ... But when it does it almost always happens on the first savegame. I am not using any mods. Edit: It also just happened to my current run both video files together have the length of (00:55:30 + 1:11:36 = 2:07:06) but my savegame tells me I have played 02:25:59. I mean if the difference would be very little like a minute you could maybe argue that I did not stop the recording immediately when saving. But considering this huge time differences. It is just super weird.

I achieved the same/similar result without arcane reflection. I kinda had that feeling that her poison attacks are AoE (maybe from the little spider aswell are Aoe too ? ) and she keeps hitting herself if you stand close to her. It deals a ton of damage because her defenses drop extremely low after some time. I just rewatched my older run and Belranga killed herself and I had no Arcane Reflection. In fact, I think you can literally kill her by standing in front of her with only BDD and SoT spamming while having Brilliant. In one of my runs I died directly after the conversation with "little" Nemnok, because he attacks you again and I was on 1 hp >.< Easy solution: Wait a couple of seconds to regen some health while you are in the conversation and then proceed.

First of all hello to everyone, I am new to the forums and I am also working on an Ultimate-Run. I am from Germany, 27 years old, I am a software dev but currently on nice vacation and so I got some spare time to invest into the Ultimate. Unfortunatelly I RIPed on Nemnok and only had to beat Belranga, Sigilmaster and then Ukaizo ... Too bad. Everything was recorded aswell. But I'll try again, ofc. The order might be strange to you but on my next run I planned on doing a different route anyways. Big surprise! I am using SoP for the Brilliant aswell to sustain ressources. Priest / Wizard as Skaen/Bloodmage. Works like a charm on most encounters, but sometimes Arcane Dampener on certain encounters can be suuuuper dangerous. I like to play at a fast pace, that's why I don't like to play on slow combat speed all the time. However this was probably the reason I died ... I take it easy at least As already mentioned I only had to do 4 more bosses and my real time of the run was something around 8 hours, which can be still cut by alot ... (Brilliant proccing sometimes takes 20-30 mins ... just luck, it's annoying). In game time was totally fine, I still had 18 days left to do Nemnok-> Belranga -> Sigil -> Ukaizo. It is not weird. I do understand very little aswell ... His argumentation doesn't even make sense at all. The moment you ever looked something up in the wiki, which is mostly written by players even tho it says offcial, you already get information for "free". How do I know the Wiki is written by players? Well simply because I also made some contribution there. Same applies to the forums. But that is something fuze does not understand. I actually have absolutely no problem if he found something totally game-breaking and does not want to share it. I don't care, I really don't. But stop bragging with it.
