  1. Are you by any chance close to a GameStop? I ventured there after I noticed that I waited too long to preorder it from CDON and their entire PC CE stock was reserved. It'd seem they're pretty sure over at GS that they'll be getting the CE(s) as well and you can place a preorder for it there.
  2. Only part that sounds even remotely interesting so far is that it is planned to span over a decade. A lot can change in that time so it could bring a lot of choices that will shape the gameworld. Of course, getting one's hopes for up for it at this point is just silly.
  3. Sounds like AP was a bit of a problem child.
  4. You know, you could have just clicked the big button saying Info and seen this little part: If they lost a sale because you couldn't be bothered to check just how official the profile was before heading over here to complain then I suppose they'll just have to live with it. Somehow, I think they can handle that just fine.
  5. Looks like I didn't miss much by not staying up for the Ubisoft conference.
  6. Here's to hoping that damage threshold will make a return. And separate resistances/thresholds for all the damage types. I was really miffed to see that Bethesda opted for the easy approach and just winged it with the universal DR from Oblivion.
  7. "The intent is that the world lives even when the player is not around to witness it. In addition to the main factions, there are villages and gangs in the desert that will grow and diminish in power as the story progresses. A bandit group that seems insignificant might find an abandoned armory and become the rulers of the wasteland." That's probably at least a bit closer to what's written. And the part about different death animations for different weapons doesn't say much either. Just that an enemy (specifically a Gecko in the article) won't explode into chunks of gore from a BB gun shot and that a hit from the grenade machine gun won't make the target fall over holding a bruised shoulder.
  8. So I finally finished it. Clocked out with a good 74 hours for the first cycle (3 of which were most likely spent pulling my hair out with the boss of 1-4). New Game+ turned out to be not as bad as I feared. Lovely game all-around. Think I'll roll a Mage one of these days.
  9. Yeah, 'twas pretty fun while it lasted. It's completely over now though, and they set the World Tendencies to Neutral for all the worlds where it was on the darker side. Guess that means it's time for some Flamelurker. Alone. Melee only. Pickaxe +1.
  10. I'm in trouble! Please recommend this message! This game turned out to be quite the gem, didn't it? Ended up importing it and found my copy in the mail box last Friday, which led to a long gaming weekend. It's been a challenge to say the least, mostly due to this special Halloween event that had all worlds turn into a nightmare for new players. Now, if I was a sane I'd probably have summoned a few other players to help out along the path, saving me from a dozen deaths or so at the very least. To heck with that though. Soloing as a pure melee Knight and having a blast. A couple of unique Black Phantoms have already fallen, currently conquering the first areas of all the worlds. And that Red Eyed Knight from the first world? Oh, how sweet revenge is. On the subject of the Halloween Event by the way: Anyone know if they've announced what they'll do now that it's supposed to be over? I mean, they can't possibly be thinking of leaving all the World Tendencies at Pure Black? Right?
  11. Mayhap so. But I'd rather sit here and expect it to come out later and be positively surprised when/if it shows up earlier.
  12. Werecrates only. Pretty darn excited about this. The overland map especially caught my interest. Maybe a Christmas release? That'd be sweet, even though I'm guessing it's too early.
