  1. maybe i`d say not popular opinion but with multiclassing option it`s possibly to even decrease party slots down to 4 without ruined the game balance and it`s also should make game be more difficult. my explain are simple: with multiclass you can stack almost all classes (10 out of 11) in your party permanent, while in POE1 you can only play 6 out of 11 at the same time. so party construction and making choice about which class you`d like to see in your party is way easier in Deadfire.
  2. A few strikes are more valuabe to you than having summons on the field when you play solo? That's weird... maybe it looks weird but it`s true, i never considered summons as very helpful tool on barb\chanter mix as unless you`re not a beckoner or solo chanter with dragon then even in mid-game their presence on the battlefield becomes irrelevant and you have only losing cast time cause very often summons then practically do nothing and quickly dies/disappears and instead of it i`d rather try to do some adiitional damage
  3. summon time cast is too long instead of it you already would do a few strikes with carnage dealing up more damage. triggering bloodlust or blood thirst through summons make sense for me when you fight small group of enemies or mini-boss fights.
  4. when i played this duo i doesn`t need or focus at summoning at all : carnage, frenzy, spamming autoattack like crazy and buff yourself from chants is all you need And which buffing chants synergized particularly well with a barbarian in your opinion? any what can increase your defences such as boost your deflection at chanter lvl 4 or that give you 10 fort and will from the start and there`s many more. with troubadour you can stack it through the fight and gave no problem to soak up damage.

  6. multi gives you more versatility and more options in combat and it`s always better to have more options than lack of them, this is the main reason why multi is stronger compared to single class, and got 2 more tier level abilities on single class isn`t enough to turn the tables on
  7. Berserker/Skald or especially Berserker/Troubadour fits nice with Barbarian, you`ve got a bit of healing from ancient memory and take passive buffs from chants throughout the battle
  8. or get a multiclass with druid though i don`t think a barb/druid multi have a good synergy with each other...at least that combo looks strange
  9. wait so now there`s no stuff summoned items for it except druid spell? i want to try this with barb carnage (though i`ve heard in deadfire it`s kinda nerfed and becomes cheap unlike original game) but if it`s only for druids now then it`s a bit disappointment 4 me
  10. i`m near to finish TCS run with my barbarian in POE1 and haven`t play Deadfire yet, so is firebrand still one of the best weapon choices for barbarian in Deadfire?
