  1. whiteleaf is crazy on a nature godlike nalpazca with maxed alchemy. It can regen like 20/s for 1000 seconds.
  2. There's some difficulty early on with ranged enemies, because everyone's ACC seems to be through the roof in POTD, but once your armour starts out pacing enemy penetration you can pretty much face-roll your way to the end of the game. This happens pretty quickly. It really sucks that it's so easy.
  3. Too slow. She's also very dramatic but has no character and that's a pretty uncomfortable combination. Someone earlier linked IWD2 intro: Listen to that by comparison. That is a young female narrator and it sounds amazing. She makes you want to hear what she has to say. People think that narrators need to be generic and featureless but that is completely incorrect. They need to be consistent, yes, and with a broadly appealing manner but if you don't care about the person telling the story you don't care about the story they have to tell. There's plenty of examples of excellent female narration out there (remember LOTR?). It doesn't have to be the baldur's gate guy or bust. For people saying they like this narrator, I have a question. Would you want to listen to an audio book narrated like that?
  4. I just completed a POTD run with a ranged monk/wizard build using the Nelpazca subclass. I think it's the best for ranged. There's nothing to even spend wounds on as a ranged monk for half the game so you don't need to worry about running out of drugs, just pop em for big fights. Also, there's so many ranged enemies/movement abilities in this game, I worry helwalker's increased damage received would be pretty bad. Plus, your drugs start to last crazy amounts of time pretty quickly. I actually think Nelpazca might be the strongest of the three monks in general. If you stack armour and use whiteleaf on a Nelpazca monk with maxed alchemy you are basically unkillable. It regens something like 15+hp/3s for 1000s towards the end of the game.
  5. So, there's a bow that fires 3 projectiles which all explode and do AOE dmg on a crit. Think it's pretty well established how broken flurry is with aoe attacks or multiple hit/projectile weapons. This bow does both. With enough hit->crit It's like firing IGMS every time you shoot the bow even single target. Pretty entertaining to watch it clear the entire screen with missile spam leaping from target to target.
