  1. So for about the last 6 days I've been partially deaf in my left ear becuase I got water in there and then I was stupid enough to try and get at it with a qtip way deep like and I think that only made it worse and now tonight my friend was like lets go swimming after our run at the gym and now I think I got herpies from the spa and to top it off, more water in my freakin left ear from swimming and now I'm pretty much completely deaf in my left ear. And now I'm angry.

  2. Rofl wow. Found a homeless man giving what I believe to be candy injected with heroin to 2 very little children beneath a bridge. Ok well I didn't really find it, I tried to browse through various buildings to try and see if anyone was having sexual intercourse on their balcony or through their window and then clicked on the "People" thumbnail below and about 40 yards up the trail you see them. Pretty awesome, they had one of these for Obama's like state of the union or something a while back and it was pretty neat.

  3. I think things are looking up for me and its about time. In just the last few days so many great things have happened; asked a very nice girl out and she said yes, got good grades, meeting up with a few very long time friends from high school that I haven't seen in years, work outs are going good, and going to buy a new vehicle soon. What more could I ask for? Perhaps when I go out with friends I will win lots of money.

  4. Sorry about the news Kelv but I believe in you champ and I believe in modern medicine. We all pray in our own ways, mine is going to involve some coffee and english muffins. Good luck man I know you'll come out on top.

Edit: Oh yeah how could I forget. Early christmas miracle in the form of a B in tax. Hells yeah. Also I think I'm going to ask this girl out either today or tomorrow. I suppose I'll just do the stupid coffee thing since I have no other alternatives since I have no outside hobbies or interests and my life is a complete void. Damn depression has seriously destroyed life. Le sigh. Hmmm need to find a star bucks or something. Get on that Wals.

  5. A lot of these abilities look really cool and a lot of fun to use, but I'm sure that the easiest way to kill enemies will still be to just keep firing on them. Not to mention the enemies STILL just stand around soaking up bullets, not even trying to save themselves.

Yeah all these videos are making me reconsider my main save of a straight up soldier. Some really cool stuff so far, maybe soldiers will have some sort of special access to heavy weapons other classes can't use.

  6. Religion.

Religious differences and ideology is one of the key factors in human conflict. Religion is often used as justification for the killing and torturing of "nonbelievers."

Then again, I freely admit I'm biased against religion so take it with a grain of Lot's wife.

    South park already covered this.

  7. I think my hard drive is failing. It was making a clicking noise and my computer is going haywire. I'm trying to transfer all my important files over to my external but I suspect my porn folder is being a real inconsiderate a hole. I have it hidden and messed within a myraid of other folders with various things in them and I just get a completely vague file cannot be transferred when I move the whole thing. So its going to be difficult to sort through all this non sense.

Damn you technology, why can't you be more porn friendly-er!!?!?!

I also made pork chops with a mushroom/wine/cream sauce. Pretty good, perhaps very slightly underdone but nice and juicy. Still haven't studied for marketing yet. But after my exam tomorrow I'm going to pick up the first book in A song of Ice and Fire and hopefully my break will be awesome.

  8. I used to be the sort to go out in 55F rainy weather in shorts, t-shirt & flip flops, but I find my feet/legs get colder faster as I age...I now have to at least wear slippers and long socks. Hubby thinks anything below 68F is "freezing" and complains like it's 35F. :) But truth is his extremities become ice cold very fast...same w/most of his family & my mother. Thin skin & hereditary circulatory conditions I guess.

Somehow I'm a mix of both of those. I was wearing shorts and flip flops only a few weeks ago and would have kept going but I didn't want to appear like a complete freak at school. My core body temp runs probably hotter than most people so I can withstand the cold but none of that goes to my hands so even in relatively weak coldness my hands are freezing but my tummy/legs/betweentummyandlegs smolders in my great brilliance of heat.

  9. It's about 40 degrees out here and honestly when I walked outside this morning to go to my exam it was like my ideal weather. Bright sunshine to warm your soul but cold enough to see your breath and perk you up. Fantastic. Then I had exam which went pretty well and came outside and then it was cloudy-ish and not awesome anymore. :'( But I'm eating a chipotle burrito and watching top chef finale. Life doesn't suck at this very moment and that non suckness will probably last for at least another 40 minutes until I have to study for my marketing exam. Although my plans could go horribly awry because I've had this suspicion that I'm allergic to beans for a long time now but only certain kinds and we will see if I go into anaphylactic shock and die or not.

Pre-emptive toodles to wals, I'll never forget you even when my spiritual consciousness is reabsorbed into the ether and my body is redistributed among the materials that compose the physical universe. Make a good night sweet prince post for me if I don't return. I want Will Smith to be at my funeral too. I know you can arrange that.

  10. "People are not equal. That's right, people are born to be different! That's why they fight and compete with one another! From there evolution takes place. Inequity is not evil. Equality itself is evil. Britannia alone is moving forward towards the future! We must fight! Compete, take, possess, control! Beyond that lies the future! All hail Britannia!"

  11. Hold up... there's a "Amish" choice under the religion section on Facebook? Umm... don't they condemn technology? This is a legit question, not trying to make fun of anybody...

Actually one of the rights of passage in Amish religionary is when you reach a certain age like 16 or 18 you are free to go out into the world and do whatever you want and after like 2 to 4 years you have to decide whether you want to leave that all behind and be Amish or continue your life of debauchery and godlessness. I believe if you pick the latter you're pretty much scorned and its really hard to get back in if you change your mind later. I listened to a podcast where one of the segments focused on a young man who went on his Amish pilgrimage into modern society and he got hard into partying and drugs and stuff and it was really hard for him to come back but he lives with his Amish family and has like extension cords coming through his window to power his electronics from his car and stuff. It was actually really interesting from what I recall.

Edit: I've been avoiding studying all day.

  12. I suspect that the actual experience itself would hardly be worth the money and bother; its just the knowledge that one is out in space, the contextual thrill of transcendence, as it were.

Agree. I really have no interest in it at all. Even if I had the money I would rather spend it on something I can actually touch and feel and love, like a Real Doll.

  13. Had my tax exam today. Made such a freakin stupid mistake on one of the 4 major problems so there goes like 15% of my f'n grade right there. Not to mention if I messed up anything else. God damnit I'm angry. I need a stress ball, or something I can sexually release into, or both. But hey things are looking up, if studying and doing projects 7 hours a day the last week wasn't bad I still have to study all of tomorrow and then the next day. I haven't been this infuriated since high school English when I got a D on a paper beucase I didn't have any god damn photos of myself and somehow thats worth 40% of the grade. God damnit. So much pent of rage. I'm going to explode, sexually. And emotionally probably.

  14. Saw my dean today about my teacher... Effectively got told "she's still teaching sociology so nothings gonna happen"

Learned your lesson hopefully. You gotta keep your head down son, otherwise you get nailed by the hammer of society. Not to mention the entire thing was relatively trivial and the outcome predictable.

  15. I have 3 exams left for this semester and time is closing in way too fast. I don't think I've been this overwhelmed for finals ever but I have until tuesday to study for tax and then 1 day to study for financial accounting. Not good times, not good times at all. I wish I had ritalin. :'(

  16. Isn't there a dude named Adam Smith who was like pretty fraekin smart and he said something like when people go out and try and make a profit they end up usually with a net gain for society becuase that man is creating jobs and distributable wealth and all sorts of good stuff. Me and my friend had a related argument and his response was to essentially look me in the eyes and go "come on dude corporations..." and that's what I'm sort of getting from Harlequin. But this isn't the industrial revolution where business could simply operate without regard to safety or government regulation. Business is good, profit is good, if you don't believe it go live in Uganda or stop complaining about stuff you don't know anything about and I'll stop pretending like I do.

    The Pope.

Like many people in the world, I do not follow your backwards pope.

The problem is that the first world is using AIDS as a kind of biological weapon against the third world, as well as a way to improve their self-righteous imperialist savior complex. Newsflash: Uganda has managed to stamp out AIDS all on its lonesome, and is a pillar to the African community. AIDS is virulent and deadly without treatment, and the first-world is not readily supplying treatment.

Sounds like our plans are going along quite swimmingly then. Thanks for the update. White power, etc.

  18. Tried Netflix for the 1st time. It's nice to stream all these movies to my PC screen, but little disappointed in streaming video quality. Even Hulu at 480 looks a bit better when fullscreen. Lots think it's the MS Silverlight player or sneaky throttling. Oh well, what can you expect for 9-13 a month. It looks ok overall and it keeps you from hogging too much bandwidth. :)

I enjoy the service very much and I find the quality to be fine, the problem I have is with their selection of stream-able material. Doesn't quite make sense to me why it takes so incredibly long for everything to get online play. I also like it because I have no need to pirate movies.

Since there are a number of people on the boards who hail in regions nearby I thought this would be relevant. Personally I fully support the Swiss in their decision, they should run their country the way they see fit and its not like they are outlawing Islam. I like how all these people shout about equality and freedom of religion. Try constructing a giant star of david in a Muslim country and see what happens. You'd probably be beaten or executed, not by some extremist but by the masses.
