  1. Well that sucks. In that case I guess that means she won't join your party if you had the Kind Wayfarer ending? I know there's two variants of having her disobey. The other version being if you chose to strengthen the Dyrwood with the souls at the end. It said she was banished and then eventually pardoned in that ending, so at the very least it makes sense about her being upset about being banished but still in the brotherhood. It just seems odd to me that they would do that about the Kind Wayfarer ending. it's awful that she was banished from her brotherhood (and home I assume,) but she did what she thought was right by trying to help the people of the Dyrwood. Despite all of that, she was still able to find a home within the Kind Wayfarers, and continue to help those in need. I found that to be a noble ending for her. But to run into her now in Deadfire, and she's just this disgruntled dock guard, that's a shell of who she once was, who refuses to help the Watcher with this catastrophic event is just..
  2. So Pallegina does in fact join your party even if she mentions being banished? Because I also had the Kind Wayfarers ending, and she refused to join my party after I spoke with her. She seemed angry and upset, and outside of an initial "sorry that happened to you," my remaining responses available were variants of "maybe she should have followed orders" and then her cutting me off as I try to tell her "it'll be different this time" before she walks away. It gave me the impression this is how she would have behaved if I hadn't finished her quest at all. I can't tell if anything from the above is a bug, and it's incorrectly giving me the "never finished her quest" version of Pallegina, or if that's just what you get if you had her be a Kind Wayfarer (which is really disappointing if so.)
  3. That's disappointing if they did retcon that ending. So the game only "acknowledges" her disobeying orders if you strengthen the souls at the end? Because in that version she does get banished, but is eventually pardoned and allowed back in. Where as my didn't strengthen souls version just has her banished for good and staying with the Kind Wayfarers. And with that ending, she refused to join me. I just wanted to make sure her reaction and refusal to rejoin my party was indeed because of that particular save import and not a bug.
  4. Hey guys, I just wanted to try and clear up if this is from an import bug, or working as intended. So my save import has the Kind Wayfarer ending (with the souls not strengthening the Dyrwood) for Pallegina I just bumped into her at the docks in Neketaka, and there's comment about how the golden suns on her armor have been scratched off, she's a disgrace to her country, and that she tries to get by doing work as a guard at the docks. She confirms she doesn't work for the Vailian Trading Company, and refuses to join my party before walking away. Is this suppose to happen with the Kind Wayfarer ending? I know that her POE1 ending slide commented that she had been banished, but I didn't think her joining the Kind Wayfarers meant she wouldn't join in POE2. The way this encounter played out gave me the impression that her state as a dock guard was because I never finished her POE1 quest at all. (Since she should be in the Kind Wayfarers instead?) This tweet by Josh Sawyer has further confused me on the matter: https://twitter.com/jesawyer/status/994683014549393408 So if she only joins your party through the Vailian Trading Compnay, and as a member of FMCS, does that mean that my particular ending for Pallegina is just out of luck? Or was there a bug somewhere and my encounter with her at the docks doesn't match with my import save? Thanks so much for any help with this.
  5. So Serafin is supposed to be able to join your party after leaving on your ship for the first time, right? I had the cutscene where Serafin's pirate crew boards my ship, and I agreed to have him join my party. After the scene was over he wasn't in my main party, and the party management screen didn't show him either.
  6. I was supposed to have Mayor Eder, but the game gave me Night Market Eder despite my import. He was also weird about Xoti, about how he dislikes someone so wrapped up in their god, to the point where I had conversations options having to deal with his issues with her. But since he's incorrectly listed as Night Marker Eder, I was confused why he'd be against her faith. It was like parts of him were from my import, and other bits from this bug where he's starting with the wrong POE1 ending. @.@
  7. So I was also one of the players that ran into the issue of Eder starting with the Night Market background instead of being Mayor. Thankfully someone posted a link to a current workaround to get the correct medallion (if Eder was supposed to have been Mayor.) Medallion Fix This fix did indeed work, and gave me the correct medallion with the appropriate background listed on it. My question though, is that I noticed Eder's reputations hadn't changed from when he was in the Night Market. I had assumed at the very least that he would no longer be supportive of followers of Eothas, but despite having the Mayor background now, it still lists him as in support. He's also still showing as disapproving of those that express criticism towards follows of Eothas. I'm just wondering if his reputation is always like this regardless of his POE1 ending? Then again I'm not entirely sure if this issue of the wrong Eder is plaguing everyone, or just some people. So perhaps none of us will know.
