  1. History is full of tragedies, Eddo. No single tragedy is more important than another, even if one is more recent.
  2. I disagree and obviously so did Bethesda since they saw the skin as not pertinent to the rating, so they didn't disclose it.
  3. That is covered by George W. being re-elected as being tragic.
  4. Acts of nature I don't count as tragedies. They just happen and you deal with it. Certainly there was death, destruction, and pain on a massive scale but I wouldn't call it tragic. Its just how the natural world works. If you live in an area that is below sea level, expect to get wet. Tragedies are man made. Tragedies are the result of human hubris. Tragedies happen when a person who should know he is doing something wrong and hurtful but does it anyway. Tragedies are the result of the failure of being human. Also I did not say the re-election of George W. was the worse tragedy, but one of. Slavery in the US is in of itself one of the great tragedies that the US has done towards our fellow humans, but there are many tragedies in the history of the U.S.
  5. Its not the worst tragedy in US history, but it is the most recent. I think that one of worst tragedy for the United States and possibly the world was when George W. got re-elected. Tragic for th world because they have to put up with his stupidity, and tragic for the US because the majority was stupid enough to believe his rhetoric to re-elect him.
  6. Iowa is great... FOR CORN!
  7. Hey, we have BioDiesel as well.
  8. It is where ethonal was developed, the first digital computer made, and the home state of a Federation captain.
  9. Neither would I but seeing graphics made for a TV screen doesn't look all that great on a computer monitor. They would need to fully PC-lize the game. JE with HDR, Bloom, and AA... *drool*
  10. A mod is a mod, SP. t requires a mod to activate the skins therfore its is a mod, on disk or not.
  11. If getting a proper education is being a nerd then so be it.
  12. Depending on someone else's honesty is the wrong way to go.
  13. I have no interest in Geography yet I know a good chunk where countries, capitals, even some off shoot small towns of other states and countries are at. I can point out on an unmark globe where Lima, Peru is at or where Victoria Falls is located at. Its called having a proper grade school education.
  14. How about Ranger Gord?
  15. That is the key factor there but the only way to get a true ccurate picture of the game's content is to play it.
  16. No, not really. I think the ratings system of the ESRB is kind of lame. Add to the fact they don't actually play the games makes their ratings pointless and ignorable. If they don't play the game themselves how can they accuarately know what the game has? The ESRB is a failure. The Euro version seems okay but who decides the yeses and noes. The publisher/developer or a third party? Also, is it really voluntary?
  17. That is just plain stupid. Also, SP, I have a quiestion for you. If the material is to be unaccessable to the player during normal gameplay why have it deleted?
  18. Oh, they haven't even played the game. They reviewed video sent to them by Bethesda. IF YOU ARE GOING TO RATE A GAME. PLAY IT DAMN IT!
  19. Graphically, if they can up it to Oblivion or to NWN 2 level, and add in a pure PC UI and configuration, along with 10 to 15 hours of extra play time, then it would be a worthy addition to my PC gaming library.
  20. I can see the conversion process taking about a year so it probably depends when they have started or will start, if ever.
  21. Indeed it would. On the bright side if they do make a PC version there would be no longer any reason for me to keep my X Box.
  22. Maybe I am and maybe I am not. In any case it requres a mod to implement it and new meshes and textures to implement it well. Its a mod therefore should have no bearing on the ESRB.
