I was thinking Rooting Pain + Lesser Wounds would be a good combo since I would be using this guy as a sort of main tank whom also spams torments reach etc. Saying that, do you feel that Heart of the Storm or Scion of the Flame would be better? Maybe I can have both and remove Veteran's recovery since this isn't a solo run and I will have a healer/chanter in the area. Maybe not even take swift strikes/lightning strikes and heart of the storm as I don't really care about auto attacks?

I was thinking of using the below; Abilities Swift Strikes Force of Anguish Turning Wheel Crucible of Suffering Duality Torments Reach Iron Wheel Rooting Pain Soul Mirror as a replacement for one of these? Can stack with the Barricade's arrow reflect and durgan refined arrow reflect? Talents Lightning Strikes WF: Peasant Vulnerable Strike Savage Attack Veteran's Recovery Sword and shield style Heart of the Storm Wound Binding? Lesser Wounds? For attributes, I'm assuming I should spread between Might/Con/Dex/Per?

Quick question. I know riposte rogues left a lot to be desired previously, but has anyone tried a tank rogue build? Something along the lines of a streetfighter/illusionist Fire Godlike. Seems like the extra deflection from mirrored images might help bring more misses/grazes. The damage bonus also seems to go along with the fire godlike ability (I know it is not anywhere close to where it was before). I guess this is all a moot point for POTD as I understand high deflection doesn’t matter and the rogue tank will just get eaten alive. Second Question: For the transmute ogre transformation, does it work just like a spirit shift and gear doesn’t matter? Can you use abilities/spells while in form? Any weapon proficiency help with the club? Thoughts?

So I got to thinking a little bit. The idea of stacking attack speed and dex and utilizing the spell chance proc on the stormcaller as part of the "CC" aspect of the build seemed interesting. Would this work with any of the other spell chance items? Melee? For instance, I know of the below items. -Unlaboured Blade -Grey Sleeper (Could be interesting? Spellchance of paralyze, invoke vessel, and twin stones) -Vent Pick -Wodewys (Goes with the CC aspect of the build, -DR) -Sabre of the Seas (Never used this) What do you think? Same attribute distribution (10,8,18,15,19, just focusing on debuffs and attack speed to get off as many spell chance procs as possible?

EDIT: Nevermind I think I was confused. You mean that accuracy bonus is fixed but chant radius are boosted by things like ring of overseeing and intelligence correct? And sorry for posting from two different accounts...it seems like I have a different account for my phone and my computer, and I keep forgetting to change them.

So I have been playing this priest as an NPC and it is pretty fun. I actually went Priest of Wael for RP reasons going into POE II. I plan on multiclassing it with a Nalpasca monk. That way I can play the whole "Priest of Wael who takes drugs to attempt to discover the mystery of the universe". I also love the idea of a seemingly non threatening unarmed priest all of a sudden turning into the hulk and tearing people apart . Anyways, I do have one question. From what I understand, Savage Attack is not worth it as a talent because it only applies to the 5-8 base unarmed damage but I was wondering if Vulnerable Strike would be worth it for the DR reduction?

Obviously you have a lot more knowledge then me and I have a hard time visualizing talents. What do you mean more defensive talents? What would a sample talent spread look like. Also, since you don't really care about grazes, would you keep perception at 10 for spells or would you dump it lower in order to move towards other attributes? For talents I'm assuming something like below- Novice's Suffering Two Weapon WF Peasant Inspiring Radiance Aggrandizing Radiance Veteran's Recovery Fast Runner? Outlander's Frenzy?

I am going to do a spin off of the Berath priest build for one of my NPCs and was wondering if anyone notices any issues with it. I was going to change it to a Priest of Magran and essentially just change the two handed style of play into dual wielding swords. Start the fight off with a runners wounding shot arquebus shot, either buff and go into melee or cast spells. I'm assuming it might be best to either have arms bearer or Aumaua so I can still utilize the Abydon's hammer for casting. Any issues with this? I assume I should just keep the attributes the same.

Would you take defender / Vigorous Defense on that fighter build? I'm sure there is a point where you have too much defense and it would be more beneficial to introduce offense? Also for the low per, is there any good weapon that adds accuracy that would be able to offset the penalty? Unlaboured Blade (For some reason I like the idea of this one), Sword of Daenysis, Blesca's Labor, or Cladhaliath? I obviously want something that isn't just a "send into the middle of a group / can be ignored by enemies". If that concept doesn't fit this then I'm sure a dual wielding monk would be better? I also figured with the stat changes this would be a good candidate to multiclass into a wizard or another caster class to help tanking in POE II. Thanks!

Sorry I can't edit a post before it gets approved by a moderator. Was thinking something like... Fighter Stats: MIG: 16 CON: 16 DEX:08 PER: 08 INT: 15 RES: 15 Talents: Weapon and Shield Hold the Line Superior Deflection Wound binding Rapid Recovery Weapon focus Wary Defender Weapon Mastery Abilites: Disc Barrage Defender? Vigorous Defense? Overbearing Guard Into the Fray Take the hit Sundering Blow? Charge? Weapon Specialization? Triggered Immunity Would this be the best fit for that stat spread or is this too unnecessary as far as tanking? Would that stat spread be better fit for an off tank paladin? I also like the idea of using the soulbound dagger for some reason (unlaboured blade) or would the damage be too pitiful?

Last question I swear....I'm sure you get quite annoyed by these questions coming from people that seem to have an internal dilemma on what MC to play... My idea of a main character would be something that has decent str, con, int, and resolve. So like 15 in each. Would the only thing to really fit that type of build be a defensive fighter tank?

Boeroer, I actually played your boar druid before and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Going into POE II, how would that build work with Berserker? If I recall we would wait for frenzy to trigger and then shapeshift. I'm assuming you would just go a generic druid without the subclass and multiclass with berserker?

Hey All, I have always liked playing high constitution builds that can take a large amount of beating and still remain healthy. I know there are some monk builds floating around that use retaliation and high constitution in order to be viable. Are these types of builds viable going into POE II or would a certain multi class be better? What are your suggestions for builds that rely on high endurance? Thank you for your time.
