I was searching through old stuff and this was under sad things folder.

Rest in peace Scott/Tarna. I am saddened I didn't know you better, but I remember you enriching the forum for all of us. It reminds me how sad I was to lose contact with this great community and great people.

It would be cool. But it wouldn't have to be all other countries. Perhaps simply a place you travel to or perhaps multiple PC's like GTA5.

This is not impossible to have similar or identical development in other countries though.

We've had 6+ Fallouts in the US. I think the american pride could survive a Fallout that doesn't just take place in the US. (perhaps both the US and other countries)

Someone should do a Fallout outside of the US. That would be really interesting. Its not beyond the realm of fantasy that Vault-tec would have vaults on other continents or even some countries went free of nuclear devastation.

I backed the wrong Shadowrun project on kickstarter

I never played the SNES Shadowrun game or any shadowrun game for that matter. I did love the Shadowrun 2nd edition RPG (tabletop) and I like turnbased combat ala Fallout 1+2. So, would Shadowrun returns be any good to me?

Playing Dragon Age: Origins with my girlfriend. Its good fun to see someone go through that game for the first time. I wish we had more time for gaming...I am drowning in games. I am a sucker for buying steam games.

I miss the good old days. It was such fun. I hope someone gets in touch with Tarna again. Sadly its such a common name that searches gives very little.

Well, didn't move with the crowd there. Didn't have to fond memories of mistress20 (I believe her username was), so stayed away from anything associated with her.

LOL, I was looking at the title and thought that was the name. Yeah, I remember her, awesome! It looked like it went downhill after I got booted. (pretty much backstabbed in nearly the worst way possible) Yes, I used to run those chess live chess matches as the black king, with Ala'deaty (I think her name was) as my black queen. Sadly not everyone got moved during the matches, but it was still a heck more fun than an oldschool chess match. People got creative. The chess game died with me getting the boot sadly. Onkel was definitely a character too....ahhh the good old memories.

I don't recognize your name. Who were you on the BIS boards? Glad you appreciated me saving those. Anyone remember #blackisle on IRC? Those were the days.

Hey! Its been a long time. How are you doing these days? You know, it was an awesome time back then. ...LC!!...how be ya, ol' friend...married an' multiplied, meself...hehehe...does this ol' soul good ta see ya, it does... ...WHO LUVS YA, BABY!!... Wife died of cancer. My company after many years went belly up due to an unfortunate lawsuit. Had massive damage to my house. Some unfortunate years. But now I have a new girlfriend, new company that's doing well (own a gaming network/site no less), a good job and a better place to live. So, things can turn around. I am glad you replied to this thread, as this has been out of sight and mind for a long while. I miss the old crowd. (Even Di, even if she was a pain in the rear) It was good fun!

I only came here because a friend of mine is featured in the NWN2 Credits. Kind of nice considering we never got credited in IWD2. As for the old BIS community and all that, I think Linkin Parks "In The End" describes that pretty well for me. In the end it doesn't really matter. Good luck to all of you out there.
