  1. Oh yeah I forgot. They were limited though. I would like my character to wear a really cool mask. If I were evil, maybe my face was falling apart so I could add artificial eyes or jaw(Malak).
  2. Great idea! Or a mask or Face tatoo/paint.
  3. Seems like KOTORII will have a lot more replay value. Especially with all the NPC choices given to you. On top of what was already given in the first game. And there probably will be more. If you don't have time to play a game over a few times, good for you! I won't have time come the end of August but right now, during the weeks of the summer, I have too much time. <_<
  4. Sorry I should've been a little clearer. I meant more in real life(and so no buddy thinks I'm crazy, I know Star Wars is a phantasy ). I would think a double sided lightsaber would be easier all around to use.
  5. Are you talking about how it would work in the game or if it were real life?
  6. Thats hard to say. What would make a single blade better... A double blade should technically be better on D since there is two blades to defend with. What if you could use your extra hand to do something? Push an opponent away to gain distance... I got it! What if you could use your other hand to Force a weapon on the ground into your hand durring combat? An advantage possibility(if you do that) would be to confuse your opponent so they miss one round... I don't know, but I think somehow you should gain a bonus for doing that.
  7. Ummmm, YA. JA was around a 4 hour game. Kotor is an rpg, and thus is almost guarenteed to be longer. Anyway, I never needed any help. Wait, I needed a little help for the Korriban ring puzzle thing, but it was because I was too lazy and tired. Later I went through it using problem solving and got it right. Anyway, walkthroughs are needed. That's one of my only problems with the game. It was easy enough to sleepwalk through it without walkthroughs on average. They aren't so much as "needed". But the guys who do it "God bless their soul", spend countless hours figureing out almost every little thing and record it. And give us the opportunity to maybe see something we never would've found before. It takes away the whole element of suprise. But I rather that than take away my life. It's more like an option.
  8. He was questioning if it should go into another topic because there was no suggestion involved. I think... It's true, there is hours of replay value. If your one of those players that tries to find everything in the game you'll be playing for a long, long time... and probably look like this: I'm not one of those players. I'll try and find everything in the game with one character but thats where I'll stop. I can't see myself playing again after that, even if I can choose a different class, weapons, powers, attacks etc. Then again, I do own the game and down the road I may want to dig into it again... But see players like that can't really complain because they're not trying to fully experience the game as it is anyway. You've decided what you're going to do and that's pretty much as far as you will go. So you can't complain if that only takes 20 or 30 hours when there's about 20 or so hours worth of replay value that you refuse to indulge in. Now if a person plays it at least 80% through and feels like it's really lacking in lenght(like say Max Payne) THEN there is a legitimate beef. Don't get me wrong. I love the game. I'll only complain about little things that may need changes, never the game though. It didn't take me 20hr to finish. I was too into it. I had to listen to all the dialogue and carefully pick my answers. Then when I found out I was Revan I couldn't decide which side I truely wanted to be on. I got right into the story.
  9. I can already see my character gaining loyalty from others Muahahaha Sacrificing your NPC... this game sounds too good to be true.
  10. Yup, thats him. I think a crazy twist will come of that. Even if it's not the climax.
  11. I think the Intro for the Rogue Leader games for Gamecube are pretty cheesy. The first one has a bunch of Storm troopers dancing, and the second one the Stars of the old trilogy dance disco style. <_< When will it ever end! I like the idea though, they just have to not make it so corny.

  13. I thought the Selkath souded the best out of the Aliens. They did need more depth in their speech though.
  14. There was acually lots of that in the first game. Especially from HK-47. When HK says something it makes you want to see him kill a "meatbag". Although, when something like that comes up I wish it would just be HK killing whomever instead of your whole party.
  15. GUIDES? GUIDES? An OUTRAGE!!!!!!!!!! :D Well its already owned my life three times in a row. I'm not going to take even more time trying to do everything I possibly can. So I'll just get some help from a walkthrough so it goes by quicker and I can see what it would've been like had I done everything.
  16. I'm on my fourth time through. I'm definately looking at guides to get everything so I think this will be the last time I play it through
  17. I like your ideas but I'm just going to comment on a few of them: The fighting - I do think it would be fun to be able to command your PC in battle but this predetermind fighting is original and I like the chance Bioware took to make it this way. To many Star Wars games are the traditional button mashing. Force Powers - The games are built so that the AI is not too hard and not too easy. By being able to maximize your Jedi's Force powers would also mean the AI would be able to have force powers maximized. Developers have to find a happy medium so they don't add what is not necessary. I think better visual effects would help make your Force Powers feel more powerful. I do like your idea about the D-Pad. It should definately be used more largely in KOTORII Faces - I would also like to see some more animation in faces. Although great for the first game I think another game with the same animations will get tiersome. Swoop Racing - Would be a nice addition to the game.
  18. I liked the amount of time. It was just right for me. I think it would've been easy for the story to drag on and lose my interest had it been longer.
  19. I really hope they implement more "Fighting with other Jedi". We were able to for a brief moment in the first game and it was cool for a second. Forgive me I'm in a brainstorming mood: What if you not only choose what move your doing but also who your attacking for each move. Then watch your Jedi do the rest. Example: Dark Jedi (To left) Force Lightning, Dark Jedi (Behind) Strong Attack, Dark Jedi (Far away) Grenade, and so on. Make sence?
  20. How about if that option is there under a hard difficulty setting. No choice is there to toggle it on or off. Would it make the game harder, or just make it more realistic?
  21. Thats hard to say. I like the idea of only knowing which direction your heading from the NPC's around you, but I think that would be a good idea for a different Star Wars game. Then again, I could never truely answer that unless I've been able to play a Star Wars game like that... <_< Good question!
  22. Yeah. I was thinking about that too. What if...Not a completly good option was there but an option that would slightly take you away from the Dark side giving you neither Dark nor Light side points but putting your dialogue options closer to medium again.
  23. A cool feature would be if you chose an answer that will give you Dark side points your next answers will have more Dark traits to them. Thus making it harder and harder to resist the Dark side, slowly losing your options to do Good. It was easy in the first game to do a couple good things here and there to come back from the Dark side. It should be more challanging to do so. This would help you as a player feel the struggle between the Dark side and the Light side (As if there wasn't enough already ). This would not work as much for the Light side however. Even if your trying to be God himself the temptation for evil should always be there.
  24. If you choose, lets say, to go to the Dark Side, will your dialog choices get harder to come back to the Light Side again? In other words, being more overwelmed with Darker choices the more you choose that path. This effect would help you feel like your getting sucked into the Dark Side by making it harder to resist getting out. If not, would it be considered in the next KOTOR?
