  1. Yes, sorry for that. But Eder felt very diffrent to his character from PoE1. When I read in forums that Eder and Xoti could somehow become a couple... o.O If I marry Alistair to Anora in DAO, at least I know it will work out, although I'm happy to spare him this. Eder and Xoti are just creepy. In one playthrough Eder becomes mayor for Dyrford but he has the time to go on a journey? In a few lines we hear what he did there, but how he suddenly grabs the corpse of the Watcher and with the steward they go out to sea. We see that the Watcher wakes up in the cabin where Eder is sleeping and the steward is standing. The Prolog has previously told us what happened, but Eder is not mentioned at all. He is somehow there, whatever the outcome in the first game. Where the ship and crew come from, or how they come to the conclusion that the Watcher stays alive when they follow the statue, I'm not sure where that was explained. That an Eder recognises a body whose soul is missing, forget it, that's what PoE1 was about. However, there is no explanation for the decision to follow the statue. And than, where did the time come from to hire a ship and a crew? Did Eothas politely wait until Caed Nur was ready to travel?
  2. A friend told me what Xoti is. Durance was good enough took him into the group for the first time, all next playhtrough he his good enough to take a bath in Skaens hot tub and give my Watchers boni. But I won't let Xoti break my Eder. He already has a hard time with his new, incompetent author. (Eder does not bother anymore his brother. The author just dropped this thread for no reason to have Eder chasing some unknown brat.) To be honest, I still like Alistair (from DAO) better than Eder, because at least Alistair admits that he cares about the Warden. Eder is just suddenly there, we don't know how he found out about the events in Caed Nur in Dyrfurt. Why Eder helped the Watcher, we do not know. How Eder and the Steward knew that the Watcher was not yet dead and had to stay near the statue, we do not know. How Eder found the ship plus crew, we do not know. At the moment Xoti is in the Gurn temple from Neketaka. Can I kill her without any negative impact?
  3. In PoE, for my game pleasure, Pallegina was only existing. She had her attitude and it was well. I have created a savegame with Deadfire for my first playthrough to play any Watcher, with no relation to my PoE1 main Watchers. However, in this Deadfire playthrough with my Helgard (Paladin, Kind Wayfarers) he did what Pallegina wanted in PoE1, he supported her attention during her Quest for her Ducs. Now, in Deadfire, after Family Pride, the only Quest I took she into the group, she accuses my Watcher that she was exiled from the Ducs, he had destroyed the Dyrwood and now he would have murdered someone. Why wasn't my Watcher allowed to put her in her place, so that she would silently steam off as an offended pork sausage? After this Pallegina episode, now, I just don't care about this character. She is not a strong female character, she is just stupid and not capable of self-reflection.
  4. I do hope that there will be a PoE3. Microsoft has no other active Iso cRPG. That problem with Deadfire is, it was already to much Skyrim and similar, and far to little PoE1. However, the fools above the developers that have nothing to do with the actual development came to the conclusion it was too less Skyrim, Assassins Creed and similar, and to much PoE1. That is why Obisidan Developers were forbidden to develop a PoE3 more in the direction of PoE1, instead detaching themselves from PoE and using another game title, so as not to be prejudiced against being more PoE1. To Topic: I liked the way The White Mark worked. Why additional contentt have to set after the main game? This forces certain outcomes that are not uncomfortable. (Death of the protagonist (due to "wrong" decisions)) Dragon Age Awakening is a perfect example of this. The developers still had the death of the player character in mind, but its continuation was integrated completely wrong. The developers preferred to undo the death because it was an uncomfortable experience for the player. It could fixed in Dragon Age Keep, but it was way to late and for a more bad Dragon Age. I liked Soldiers Peak, it was midgame content. The White Mark is not my favorit biome, that has to be said but does not changed how it extended the told lore of Eora, for example. Explains even the details that you encounter in the later part of the game. (Abydon and Ondra)
  5. The lore of PoE says, other then other Death Godlikes cannot see facial impressions from Death Godlikes. However, during the playthrough Eder i.e. always can say the Watcher had a strange looking face impression and similar. How does he know that when he cannot see the expression on his face??
  6. Are class-related equipment items unlocked when you skill one of these class bonuses?
  7. Some Weeks ago I have played my first playthrough in PoE. After my Tortelion (Wizard with Mercenary Background, trained in Melee) followed by a Bleak Walker who I really loved to play. In my third playthrough I am with Konradt, my Druid with a gun. I have installed Deadfire and my Tortelion felt very strange. Somehow he is not my Charakter anymore. But Deadfire gaved me a new idea for a new Character in PoE. The Arcane Warrior (Wizard + Paladin). It was my favorite specialisation in Dragon Age Origins. In this way this Character could feel more like mine in Deadfire, after PoE. I thought it cane be done by create a new Wizard and add the Paladin ability by an Editor or sth else by start of the Game to give this Character the Background on paper for this parth. Anyone idea how it can be done?
  8. Apart from the fact that they look like plasticine figures in the ugliest purple. The dark shadows are missing and head 3 from PoE no longer exists. I now understand why Deadfire doesn't import the look from PoE, because it can't, because Deadfire has a completely different set of looks. What I can't understand is that they let it happen. Content from PoE was removed and replaced with new content instead of putting the new content on the back. Really bad work by the developers. Of course, I am now looking for a mod that at least restores the "Dead-Godlikes". Unfortunately, Nexus has not yet provided me with anything. So I'm throwing this in here as a suggestion for the talented ones in this community to fix the Godlikes.
  9. I have just begun with Pillars of Eternity but I love Eder, already. It is odd there is no way to romance someone, but for Pillars of Eternity 2 make it happen, please. My Wiborg wants him, only him to romance.
  10. Eder has made a strange comment about the face expression from my death godlike, when he is talking with the female dwarf on the tree from Goldthal. I thought only other godlikes can see the face of the death godlike, but Eder is speaking about the open mouth and not blinking about my godlike.
  11. The time ist running^^ I am excited about to start the game on PS4. It's odd that the evening school is starting day after tomorrow. :s Do you saying this way on english? xD
  12. Imagine, you starting the game for the first time on PS4 after the release countdown and it begins with the muppets theme. Well, with lyric that fits to PoE. *goes into cover*
  13. It would be great, if the PS4 would have a mod manager like Fallout 4 and Skyrim from Bethesda. I never could arrange me with the portraits of Baldurs Gate, all of them was ugly and embarrassing. When I start a game in Baldurs Gate, I am starting Dragon Age Origins and with the character creator I make a new one, once before.^^'
  14. The weapon seems to be an axe halberd. No matter, this character this figure stands for what I want to play. A battlemage with weapon, shield or a two handed weapon, an armor and heavy spells with big range. at this point I would like to know, if you can change the colours of the armor. I prefer it, when it is free as in The Sims Medieval, not with extra costs like in Titan Quest or Diablo 3.
  15. Yes, I know. This thoughts are only my first idea which way I want to play a Character in PoE and how much I can adapt my play style as I have descriped with my Dragon Age Origins experiences. ^^ Maybe, I could play a Dukemon styled HC. I still have no idea what I can create exactly in PoE. Not yet.^^ When I am already at asking, what you can do in PoE. Is Gamepad gameplay available on the PC version or will it be added into the PC version after PS4 release?
  16. Hi, at the beginning, my English skills are not good and I am sorry, if my text has several grammar and vocabulary mistakes. ^^' I am still thinking about to buy Pillars of Eternity when it is released on PS4. Defnitly, I prefer game pads for gaming. My experience with RPGs begins with X-Men Legends 2, but it have really begun with Dragon Age Origins on PS3. Now next to the decision to buy the game I am asking me on which way I want and can play a main character in PoE. In general I prefer the mage class and than I like it to kick the cliches and standards in to the bin play a character and class that does not follow the usully agenda. I like it to play an Arcane Warrior in Dragon Age Origins with big armor, spirit healer skills, in Awakening additional with battle mage skills (frozen ring i.e.) and some other buffs (flame or ice weapons or weapon with more armor ignorance, arcane shield, spell protection, heal aura and so on) and active spells. Is it possible to play a battle mage like this in PoE? It should be mentioned that I play RPG more because of the story, the dealing and how the character creation is involved in that events. DAO did a good Job, DAI tried it and DA2 has not enough time to bring it. Could anyone give me some answers, please?
