The worst bit has to be the testicles part.

I see it as the demo showcases the current physics they have at a small scale. A hardware addon can incorporate the physics being demonstrated into a much larger world and at a bigger scale. For instance the blades of grass demo included on the program can be multiplied by the thousands and used as grass in a game level.

Well if you haven't already seen it, this demo's pretty awesome. Seeing an 8 ft tall Jinga tower crashing down in realtime without lag is pretty r0xx0r.

Actually the whole way this is being handled is reminiscent of what must of gone down when the ending was decided.
They made the wrong decision and went for the short-term solution. The same decision process that brought us the rushed ending is working here now.

How many copies has KOTOR II sold ? How many people frequent this forum ?
If the "fans" are making the publisher look bad, that reflects on Obsidian. It is after all their board and they are ultimately responsible for it. Unruly boards can make publishers look elsewhere.
While closing the boards would mean the end of our hanging out. The effect on the company is pretty much negligable. Especially when the forthcoming game dosnt even have a forum here anyway.

He started a HUGE flame war on one or another forum, and briefly became an Internet anti-celebrity a-la Star Wars Kid. The thread link was referenced on many game- and non-game related websites (including even Theonion.com). The forum's owner where the thread lived had to ask for paypal donations to pay for the bandwidth, and I think people donated...
The thread grew huge, upwards of 100 pages. I say this one can beat it.
