  1. When I load my PoE1 save that ended with returning the souls to the wheel, I can choose a different end. Or at least I can tell Berath and she believes it, because

she says that "there will be time to deal with it later"

I kept my vow but told her that I didn't. So, does the game allow us to change our mind? Or is this a bug and it is not reflected later?

I guess, the final save happens before you make this choice, thus it cannot be imported and must be stated after starting a new game.

  2. Vampyr sounds very interesting, I'm a sucker for games that have a time/event system like Deadly Premonition, Majora's Mask or Dead Rising.

I'll definitely pick it up at some point.

PS: Is Final Fantasy: Lightning Returns any good? :3

I liked it. FFXIII:LR was much less linear, than FFXIII-1, and it was possible to fail the main quest by running out of time (the plot premise: the apocalypse happens in 13 days and the protagonist has to collect souls in order to save her sister).

  3.

I've got couriers calling and I know to let the man on Tikawa die but what do I do with the one on port maje?

Do you really have to let him die? :(

I was watching a walkthrough, and it seems like with a high enough diplomacy skill, you can pressure the Rauatai lady in Port Majae to take the scroll despite the stalker. She doesn't die but she has to leave early, which I *assume * saves the governor.

Yes, that will complete Maia's quest but the assassination won't occur (although I think someone mentioned a bug occurring where the assassination went off anyway, hopefully it's been fixed).

Encountered this bug today (Steam, v1.1.1.0064) - convinced Tuaha to take the missive (Diplomacy skill check), but the ending slide for Port Maje said that the assassination was successful.

I hope, that the next patch will fix.

  4. I suggest the Shadowrun series, excluding Returns.

Dark Souls II and Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen were mentioned already.

Torment: Tides of Numenera is slightly text-heavy, but an interesting party-RPG.

The Technomacer and the other Spiders' games are closer to action-RPG.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is something between Fable and The Elder Scrolls.

Hyper Light Drifter and Immortal Planet (isometric action-RPG with pixel graphics).

Dungeon Siege III (not the previous games in the series) is a quite good party-RPG.

Dex is a 2D action-RPG in cyberpunk setting.

Anima: Gate of Memories is an action with RPG elements (there are several endings).

  5. Started Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition.

It runs well and the controls are customizable. Though, I should have read a tutorial on that DnD edition, so I wouldn't pick Shortswords as the weapon proficiency (heard that there are Scimitars +3 somewhere) during character creation.

I like the ability to write my own journal entries (mostly about where I left companions and items).

  6. Completed God Eater 2: Rage Burst. Defeated 1 optional DLC aragami - Orochi.

I guess, I'd like the game more, if it was 3 times shorter (or had more different aragami, instead of 4 re-skins per type), less linear (story-wise) and less grindy. Otherwise, it's a really nice MH-like game. Haven't seen many of these on PC (just this and the Toukiden series).

  7. Still playing God Eater 2: Rage Burst.

Solo'ed a Chrome Gawain (the infamous 129th story mission, the AI-companion got KO'ed in 10 seconds). It felt more like Dark Souls, than Monster Hunter - I had to study its moveset, attack carefully and save enough stamina to block or dodge.
