Would it have been any fun to play KOTOR knowing from the start that you were Revan? Just breathe deeply, okay?

Sure have. It's nice to see, and gives us a little more detail on what Telos will be like. I appreciate their efforts. What I was really hoping for though, was a new planet, character, etc. Not just for me, mind you. I just think it's about time. Oh, and thanks.

Well, today is my birthday. You know what I want for a present? I'd like some info on KOTOR 2 for one thing. Maybe a big kiss from my girlfriend too. See, the thing is, they can't hold out on us forever. Something's gotta give. I mean, the Rome:Total War Demo comes out on Monday, but it's just not KOTOR is it? I supposes that if it means the game gets out sooner then I'll be happy. As it is, I think we're all just going to go INSANE. Has it been proven... Do Crazy People buy more video games, or less?

Well, at this rate, we just won't hear anything for a long time... And then, all of a sudden, come Christmas... KOTOR2 Out of the blue! No hints, no info, no nothing! Just silence until the game suddenly appears on amazon.com! Tada! What do you think of that!?

Yes, neither would I. I was merely commenting on Pope's early comment on how he thought Darth Masked Sith would be an NPC if Atris is.

Why not, Darth Vader, common knowledge here, means Dark Father in German, so why not have another character whose name means something in relation to it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, actually, Father in German is Vater. Vader is Dutch. Darth is a combination of the words "Dark" and "Death." But that's neither here nor there. I'm curious as to if/why Darth Masked Sith is a playable NPC.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}> He does meniton that the NPCs that appear may be affected by the questions you answer at the beginning. So if Revan killed Juhani in KOTOR I, then she wouldn't be in KOTOR II. But as the profile of the mystery character looked like it had hair, I'd rule out Juhani on that one at least too. It would be funny if that was Bastila all along, right under our noses, devs laughing...

The "other Jedi character in white" also appears in the trailer dressed in brown. We only see a 1/4 or so profile each time, but to me her complexion looks darker. Just a theory -- Since we know some other characters from KOTOR I are returning AND can join your party in addition to the droids, (ask Akari about that one) I would suggest that this character is: Either Bastila or Juhani. Once again, just a theory.

Atris does look very lovely in the concept art. She looks both nimble, deliberate, agile and demure, and strong without being over-buff as so many strong chicks become. Perfect balance. Now if she can only not be Bastilarrogant. And if she's not a love interest in the game, I'm sure most of the fans waiting in anticipation will rise up in revolt, burning computer stores across the globe.

Yes. "Atris" was arguably the first KOTOR II character we ever saw, along with "the Masked Sith" both of whom appeared in the first advertisment in whihc they fade in and out. They're also together in the Desktop background downloadable on Lucasarts' website.

Yes indeed. It sounds like things are getting more and more confusing. We have Sith Group 1: Exar Kun's Sith Sith Group 2: Revan and Malak's Sith Sith Group 3: KOTOR 2 Sith Lords Mandalorian Group 1: Mandalore #1 supporting Exar Kun Mandalorian Group 2: Mandalore #2 fighting Revan Wow. I'm confused just typing it.

I don't think Revan and Malak enrolled in the Sith Academy. For one thing, Uthar and Yuthura had never seen them before, not up close at least. And they wouldn't take to kindly to being bossed around by a former pupil. But it is interesting to think of how Darth Revan with the Star Forge could be put out of the picture after KOTOR I. I think there are a few possibilites: 1. Revan will be the final Sith Lord in KOTOR II after a DS ending to KOTOR I (Unlikely; it would be too drastic a change from the LS plot.) 2. Revan only regained control of the Sith at the Star Forge. The Sith Lords, with a greater source of power (their secret?!), then muscled Revan and Bastila out of the picture He's either dead, in exile, or plotting a takeover, etc. 3. Revan discovered something so important he had to take off for territories unknown on a secret mission of exploration/discovery. While he was gone, the Sith Lords moved in. 4. ??? What do you all think?

Yes, a very interesting theory, Azure79. Well done. I am still curious, however, as to how Revan and Malak became associated with the Korriban Sith branch, which obviously could not have been a recent development. Perhaps we'll find out in KOTOR II. Maybe it's just a loose end.

Yep. Both Bastila and Malak "cheated" in their duels with Revan by using the regenerative things (either the zappy thing for Bastila or the 8 Jedi for Malak), and even then Revan kicked thier trash. What does that say about them as Sith Lords?

Is there going to be another "extra level" similar to the Yavin Station level from KOTOR I?

It has been said that the level cap is higher, and that the game is abou the same length. Does this mean that levels come more frequently, or is there another explanation?

I know that you can only have a maximum party size of ten, but how many total characters are available that can join your party? Can you tell us this?

Taking us too literally? Um, yeah, I would say so. I use exaggerated terminology for emphasis, but I think you get the picture. Obviously we don't want any kind of distorted unequal sickening relationship with a pixelated character. Well, I speak for myself at least.
