  1. Indeed there is! The Close Quarters power lets Valeros use his Melee skill in place of his Ranged skill when using a weapon with the Ranged trait. Still, that probably shouldn't have set off the Melee trigger on the Forgefiend. "Helper shots" like that are just a straight 1d4+x and shouldn't have Valeros' Melee attribute. I don't even know if that should give the attack the Melee trait if it was an attack by Valeros - the power lets him use the Melee skill to make an attack with the Ranged trait, not add the Melee trait to the check.
  2. Your Sihedron Medallion problem is a feature, not a bug. Damage from the Forgefiend cannot be reduced, so Sihedron Medallion would be discarded the way any other card would be for damage. Not sure about the rest - is there a power for Valeros that gives his ranged weapons the Melee trait?
  3. iPad mini with iOS 10, newest patch. I'm playing through Jorgenfist on Heroic and encounter a Skeleton Horde. After beating the Giant Skeletons, I get a prompt to close the location, which I hadn't expected. I close the location and go on about my adventure. When Valeros's turn comes up, he's at the Guard Tower, so it's auto-Bandit time. He beats the summoned Bandit, and boom - close prompt. This only happened on Jorgenfist - it didn't happen last night during the bajillion summoned Longtooth attacks during Heroic Sandpoint Under Seige. Maybe it only triggers when you encounter a summoned Henchmanon your own turn? EDIT: The summoned Bandit did not trigger a close in The Black Tower, so this may be an issue only affecting Jorgenfist.
  4. I just hit some sort of very strange bug that I'm still trying to work out (in terms of how it happened and what is or isn't recoverable). I was replaying the Black Magga scenario (forget the name) on Legendary difficulty. Accidentally hit the Store button, went to the Store, and couldn't get back into the scenario. Not fun, but been through unresolvable bugs before. I delete the party and restart. Partway in, I realize something weird - Kyra's got an unusually small deck for a character who's completed every scenario. So I check my party. Every character is missing cards in their deck (including some Loot). Overall, I've lost - from a six-character party - five weapons, four spells, three armors, three items, six allies, and five blessings. I've run into bugs before, and can handle it, but the loss of this number of acquired boons has a pretty big impact on my enjoyment of the game. Anyone run into anything remotely resembling this before?
  5. I found a couple Easter Egg codes and redeemed them. The redeem said says the redemption went through. I can't tell what I got. Is there I dialog I was supposed to get in game? Or am I supposed to figure out what I have that wasn't in the 20k worth of chests I just opened?
  6. Can you explain what you mean by "dismiss"? I can't figure out what that would mean apart from deleting the party on the Story Mode screen - would that delete progress (either adventures completed and/or difficulty tiers completed) when I start the new party? No mate, doesn't work in that way. Progress is the 'sum' of your characters completed scenarios in Story mode. And you never lose characters dismissing the party. Think the party as a temporary group of characters. To remove the party tab on Story in the main screen. And you will see the list of your current active parties. There is a X button on the top of each to remove that party. You don't lose the characters, only their group. Then you can create a new party from the same screen and then select exactly your previous characters. In general you can add or remove characters from a party without problems. Then if you remove an experienced character, the party could not to access some scenarios if he was the only character that could access them. Because every char have is own completed scenario sheet (check it to know if new chars you added miss something). So if your progress is stuck in Story, you can remove the party (with the memory of the last scenario in progress) and simply rebuilt an other one with the same characters to start that scenario again from the beginning from the difficulty selection screen. PS wonderful avatar Thanks for explaining this. I was afraid I would lose progress. I started a new story and I was very happy to learn that I did not have to redo all the quests with my characters. However, I noticed that if you swap all characters to new characters in a story, you still have access to all scenarios in any order. This suggests that you might be able to complete the hook mountain scenario to get a role early and go back and put power feats on the role card instead of just the basic powers. Haven't tried it yet though. Just confirmed that you *can* complete Hook Mountain Massacre before completing other paths and get the role card. Need to next see if I can take power feats that are exclusive the the role when I complete the other scenarios that give them. It works. Got my role card, went back and completed Trouble in Sandpoint, and got a power feat associated with the role card.

  9. Yeah, I tried VRT, force quit, exit and quit, and even "exit, force quit, reboot device". Worse, even after forfeiting, I've had four recurrences of the issue. I'm just giving up on Legendary Into the Mountains for now.
  10. Most recent version of iOS and most recent patch on an iPad mini 4. Playing Into the Mountains on Legendary Mode. After defeating a henchman, I get slapped with the 1d4 Necromancer damage for each character, and then (when I should get the option to close the location) I get a progression break - the screen goes back to the character whose turn it is with a blue arrow. Pressing the arrow does nothing, and trying to play a card or switch to a different character results in a dialog asking me to "Confirm this action?" with no way to confirm the action.

  12. In Story Mode, after Sajan died with Permadeath mode on, every time I create a new Sajan (either immediately afterward or at a later time), he shows up as dead and cannot be removed from the party or deleted without killing him again. Is this intentional? If it's a bug, is there a workaround?
