It is probably an item card, based on the Ioun Stone. Not sure what it does though. I would guess a bonus for revealing.

Was the Favor of the gods duplicating the effect of another blessing (the one on top of the blessings discard)?
If so, this might be why it wouldn't trigger an extra allowed blessing.
If that is the intent with the Favor, then there should be some way to pick if you are duplicating the blessings discard or not. If you should be able to duplicate and play another Blessing as well, then we definitely have a bug.

Working as designed (not a bug).
A Blessing of Pharasma adds 2 dice to any check where a spell was played. By your own description, on that first check Ezren played Toxic Cloud (by discarding it). This triggers the Blessing of Pharasma to add 2 dice instead of 1.
It doesn't add two dice on any later checks because the spell wasn't played on that second check.
A great way to trigger the bonus die from BoP is by playing a minor spell (like Guidance or Strength) with a different character. The Blessing gives 2 dice as long as any spell is played during that check (doesn't matter who).

Happening to me as well. Gonna restart the characters and try the forfeiting before you lose method suggested above, tho it is still painful to miss out on that experience
From what I remember, failing the quest did not previously award XP. So the forfeit is the same as losing (running out of time) used to be. The change that happened, and what is causing the problem is that the game is awarding XP when it shouldn't be, and subsequently isn't going to the reward for the levels gained from that ill-gotten XP.

Previously there were several complaints about those buttons being too close together, and people were accidentally hitting the wrong option. The solution they ended up with in the patch before last was this, bigger buttons.
Personally, I think the button size and font that they used before was fine. They just needed to move the buttons so they were spaced further apart. As in, put space between the options. Don't have them adjacent to one another...

Definitely a bug, you shouldn't be able to play the same card multiple times on one set of damage. At the very least this breaks the rule of not being able to play more than one card of the same type on a single check.

I've had problems with this as well. Usually it is from situations where the game is trying to predict best odds or when you are getting the most added dice.
For example in a situation where you can use Dexterity or Wisdom to overcome a bane, if you use a blessing that gives two dice for Wisdom checks it will switch it over to Wisdom instead of Dexterity. Even if in that example we are using Merisiel and that changes the check from 2d12+ to just 3d6. Not always the optimal change, but because the top card of the blessing discard was the blessing of Shelyn, the Blessing of the Gods triggers the extra bonus on Wisdom.
I've also had problems where trying to switch it back causes some sort of bug where you only end up rolling the base die. It undoes the discard, but I've been burned a few times in cases where I didn't end up getting the bonuses I wanted because the bonuses I tried playing from other characters didn't end up applying correctly...

My experience has been that you can avoid this by choosing the forfeit option before you actually reach the end. Not sure why.
If you are victorious it doesn't seem to cause this error, so for now that might be a stopgap fix.

This is not a bug, but how the rules play out as they should. Defeating the goblin raider henchman gives a chance to close the location (in this case by defeating a random monster). Failing that meant it was still open, but because you ended your turn at a location with no cards remaining you were given another attempt at closing the location (with another random monster).
You in fact met two separate triggers for the ability to close the location. Defeating a Henchman, and location deck being empty.

... I completely quit out and reloaded the program, and it appears my gold is back. Still odd, as it had everything else associated with my profile and had said I logged in successfully the first time.
-
Just like the topic says, I logged in to find I have 0 gold for no reason.
I have been saving up to get the Character Add-On. I distinctly remember being just over 2500 gold because I had thought out how far that was toward my goal (5/12ths while the sale holds).
Where did my gold go?

Is your Merisiel proficient with weapons? If I recall correctly, the option on the crossbow to discard to add 1d4 to the combat check at another location requires proficiency with weapons.

In this case, only the character who defeated the villain wins a reward? I confess I didn't understand your problem very well. Is it related to this topic? The most serious bug (of many in this patch) for me is the quest rewards not working when a character gains experience during the quest but does not defeat the villian. Skipping completion rewards for actual feats in quest mode is pretty unacceptable. (I can't imagine any fix that would solve this after it occurred)
From what I can tell, Quest mode is bugged such that if you do not get a "Victory" (aka defeat the Villian) it still awards XP to the adventurers but they do not get the bonuses for any levels they achieve during that reward.
My post HERE is also related on the same vein.

Quest Mode (but slightly related to Story Mode)
After failing two attempts at quest mode, I noticed that it was showing rewards that I wasn't getting. At first I thought it was showing what I would have gotten, but now my Quest characters have gained 3 levels without being given the rewards for those levels. Most notable, a power feat that I can't just go back and get. I noticed another post about a card feat as well, so this is likely related.
Also, it is showing the gold reward screen at the end and rewarding 0 gold. It didn't used to do this on a fail, and it didn't surprise me at first, but it might also be related. I also completed a Story Mode quest (successfully) and it still gave me 0 gold for finishing the scenario (previously, all the scenarios had awarded 100 gold).
It did the same thing, showed the gold award screen and animation, but with a value of 0 and no increase to my gold.
Rat swarm to close Farmhouse
in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Posted
This is definitely a bug. Unless the Pathfinder Adventures changed the card text from the physical game it should read: "If you do not defeat the Rat Swarm by at least 4, shuffle it into the deck it came from; the Rat Swarm still counts as defeated.
So a) The Rat Swarm didn't come from the farmhouse (it was summoned from the "box" for the purposes of closing the location).
b) The Rat Swarm still should have counted as defeated.
So a) it shouldn't have been shuffled back into the farmhouse, and b) the location should have been successfully closed, even if it wasn't beaten by 4 or more.
