    I'm pretty sure they haven't confirmed it anywhere but it does seem like Peter can only hold one power at once. And yeah, the fact that Mohinder can hold on to Peter with his one finger lends itself to the fact that he doesn't take their power away he still just absorbs it.

    I mean really, there's no reason for you to feel obligated to learn scales or read music, or anything like that. If you just want to play then you should be fine with just practicing the chords and whatever little melodies you want. Actually, what would be interesting is if you learned from this guy

    If you start with his first lesson and keep doing those, I think that would actually be the best thing you could do. Like, if I could go back and relearn guitar, I would deffinetely use this. Basically, if you follow his method, ideally you'll be able to hear a melody, and then be able to immidiately play that melody harmonized within chords. Like, seriously Alan, you should really consider throwing out any other possible route to learning how to play guitar, and just focus all of your guitar time and attention on this method. Do it for me. Do it for yourself.

    1) Is there any role-playing, interesting backstory, choices to be made?

    2) Is there any interesting tactical decisions to be made?

    3) Does the story make sense this time?

    4) Fun?

     

    1) There isn't any actual role-playing per se. Or well, at all. You can choose what weapon set you want, and what types of units are in your "squad" as for backstory, well, they've got some holotapes that tell a little bit about like, nothing really, just about the initial invasion in some sense, but really it's like you're dropped into this simulation with the assumption that you know that you're at war and that you're supposed to be doing these objectives that they tell you. As far as choices, like, nothing really more than what I've already stated, weapons and squad.

     

    2) Not at all really. Like, they create the illusion that you can control units, but really you get like, four guys that follow you and your tactical descisions are either "stay here" or "let's attack"

     

    3) I mean, I found the basis of the entire thing completely conveluted. Like, the reason for you doing the simulation. There isn't really a story when you're actually in the simulation.

     

    4) I actually had a lot of fun. Like, it's not so much an RPG, and I don't think they were trying to make it one. It really seems like a typical first person shooting game I guess. I don't know, I liked the atmosphere and the idea of being a part of a battle and all of that. But I mean, I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't like it.

    well, I talk to Ron all the time as he ask me for pointers on how to bird dog women and then kick them to the curb. Same applies here, get them drunk and talking about themselves and then let things go their natural course.

     

    That's true, you've really learned me how to not care, but also be ever vigilante for the one to care for.

     

    No Laozi, ME and ron always talk about relationship woes. And girls we woo over the internet.

    I'm trying to get back into posting but I don't know where to start. So I might be able to get back the familiarity of posting on here by doing this, and then I'll be able to post in actual threads. Peope are going to frown upon me starting a thread about nothing just so I can try and slowly wedge myself back into the community, but I don't mind. So what's new with you?

    Yeah that first article you linked, the nine page one, I'm having trouble understanding most of it because I don't really know what a lot of these terms they are suing mean, and stuff. I don't know if you or anyone else would want to help me understand some of this stuff, I tried checking an online "investors dictionary" but it doesn't really help too much but add more to what I don't understand.

     

    For instance, what does it mean to "short" something?

     

    And what is a C.D.O.

    Sweet thanks Enoch. I'm actually writing a paper on the economic crisis in relation to politics and the governemnt right now, so if you or anyone else has any articles or anyhting you can send me, it would be super way appreciated, because I don't really know where to look for information.

    Actually, he does come on here and look from time to time, just not signed in. He pretends like he forgot about this place and that it is so "beneath" him, but really, he remembers.
