  1. This is a bit of a weird one, so I wanted to make sure it was reported here. Here's what happened: Scenario 5.4 Valeros is in the Festing Maze of Sloth, facing ... I forget his name, but the Villain that first summons another random monster. The summoned monster was a Goblin, which Valeros easily beat. Valeros then triggered his Birdcruncher Crown, which allowed him to take an item from the location deck. The problem was, as soon as I took that item, it reshuffled the location deck, and appears to have reshuffled the Villain back into the deck at the same time, even though I was in the middle of encountering him. So now Valeros is stuck at the Festering Maze, and unable to do anything. The only icon lit up (on top) is the green compass rose, indicating that he's still in the exploring phase. He's not allowed to advance to the end of turn/discard areas, because he's still in an encounter. But the encounter has disappeared, so he can't fight or do anything else either. He's just... stuck. Completely shutting down the program and restarting it from scratch (then using the "continue" option) puts me back into the encounter immediately after the Crown was used, so it once again selects the first item from the location deck, then reshuffles the deck and leaves me stuck in the exact same place. (
  2. I can confirm that the new patch has now resolved this (even though it only noted Lem using Versatility, it was apparently the same problem with any other method of recovering a Flask as well). Thanks!!
  3. I've got the same progression break error here, just occurred this morning. Ezren is trying to Improved Mending a Flask of Force (is it a coincidence all of us are trying this with one of the flasks?), and the flask is getting stuck in a weird position between the discard pile display and my hand, all of the controls are locked out and there's nothing I can do once the card is stuck there. When I intentionally shut down the program and relaunch it from to try fresh, it restores to the screen right after I played the spell (but before I selected an item), but even though the X button is there (to abort the spell), clicking on it does nothing. The settings/treasure buttons react to touch (icon lights up) but they don't actually do anything (no menus open or anything), whether I try them before or after dragging the item down. PFID: 4304E2A78A24E5AA User Interface: Phone (LG G3) Any other information you need from me, let me know. I'll leave this party in the locked up state until I hear from you, so you can investigate further.
  4. Ahh... this explains why everybody thinks AD4 was delayed. You guys just have your calendar showing the wrong month! ;-) I assume this will be on this Wed, SEPTEMBER 21st?
  5. Sorry, this is not true. The Blessings within the game have been errata'd to use the same "has the XYZ trait" that the bounties and favors have. So they're the exact same in that aspect. The main (read: only) advantage to the bounties are that they have a lower adventure deck number, so you're able to get them earlier on (deck 1, instead of deck 3).
  6. Yeah, that was a change with 1.0.3, instead of forcing you to roll the check (when you might not even want to use an attack spell, or weapon for the Warchanter), it just shows that they're all locked by the ability. But as soon as you attempt you actually USE any of the locked cards, it will then prompt you to make the check to unlock them. So it's basically just waiting on the check for when you actually need to use it, rather than automatically doing it at the start of the combat.
  7. After I completed the final scenario of Adv 3, I apparently messed up. And now my Valeros seems to be one power feat short of where he should be. First off, somebody please check my math and make sure I'm not missing somebody... Valeros powers: Hand size: 5 (1 power feat) Profiencies: Light Armour, Heavy Armour, Weapons (all starting) Teamwork: Greater Teamwork/1d4+2 (2 power feats) Weapon Mastery (starting) And that's it. So by my math, I'm missing one. And now, here's what happened... After I'd completed Adventure 3, I got to pick a Role and a Power Feat for each character. When I was looking at Valeros, I decided upon Shield Another (under the Guardian role) for my next power feat, and checked it off. Then I flipped over to take a quick look at the Weapon Master role to make sure I didn't prefer something there, before finalizing my choice. Content that I didn't see anything there that I liked better, I continued on selecting power feats for the rest of my party. Unfortunately, it seems that I never flipped back to the Guardian role on Valeros. However, when I'd selected everybody else it still let me proceed to the deckbuilding screen (because I'd selected both a Power Feat and a Role for Valeros, it apparently didn't check for a mismatch). But then because it thought I'd selected the Weapon Master role (it defaults back to that role every time I open up his character sheet), my power feat selection was deemed invalid and so didn't apply. (In hindsight I see that this was my fault, I was thinking that it determined which role I'd selected based on which Power feat I'd selected, not based on which tree I'd looked at most recently) So now my Valeros is left short one power feat. I tried replaying the final scenario with the same party (hoping that maybe it would do the math, realize he didn't have enough feats, and give him an extra to catch up with the rest of the party) but that didn't help (because it has him flagged as completed on that one). So... any suggestions for how I can get Valeros caught up with the rest of the group?
  8. 1/ Yeah, I wasn't positive either, but figured that I should at least mention it. 2/ Yep, sounds like it. So I guess it's not just the Luckstone, but any "auto-succeed" cards that only look at the card as a whole (for pass/fail) when you trigger them, instead of counting the separate checks individually as they should. 3/ Yeah, exactly. And I've done 5 years of software QA in the past, and have no problem helping out with this kind of thing now. If it helps make a better game, we all win, and I'm happy to help out. I just tend to have a poor memory, and trying to remember every single card that I hap-hazardly tossed into a combat when it suddenly becomes important a few minutes later (as I uncover a weird bug) can be a struggle. I know that I've skipped on reporting bugs before, because I couldn't remember all of the important details, and I hate to file incomplete bug reports. So if we had access to a simple game log, that'd be great.
  9. Here's the setup: Sajan was in the Woods, fighting again Barl Breakbones (last scenario of Adventure 3). Normal difficulty. Sajan used a bunch of powers (his Unarmed Strike (L2/Magic)), and Amulet of Mighty Fists, and recharging a blessing. Lem also helped out from the nearby Shimmerglens, firing in an Incendiary Cloud and his Short Bow +1 for the extra dice. So far so good. 1st problem - After I rolled the dice my total score was 1 below where it had to be (I rolled a 16, I needed a 17 to beat the first combat check). It then prompted me to play (bury) the Luckstone to succeed at that check, because I'd only failed by one. Is it supposed to do that? I thought since I'd already played an Item in that combat (the Amulet, above) I shouldn't be allowed to use a second Item (the Luckstone, here) to affect the same check? 2nd problem (and this is the bigger one) - When I then buried the Luckstone to succeed at the check, it showed that I'd defeated Barl. I didn't have all locations closed yet, so I didn't win the scenario, but it did close that location and move him to another one to be shuffled in. But I'd never had to roll the second Combat check against him. So apparently when you use a Luckstone to succeed, it auto-succeeds at all checks on that card at once, even when there are multiple steps needed? Finally, a suggestion... In a future release, can we get an "action log" option (on the Gears menu, under Vault, perhaps?). Just a plaintext log of all the cards that were played, all the actions that were taken, rolls that were made, etc. It would be REALLY helpful for this kind of debugging, to save us from trying to remember every single card played in a situation like this. ;-) Thanks, loving the game!
  10. This is actually backwards. The physical cards lists the non-proficiency penalty, so the game mechanics were implementing that properly. The issue was that the card image in the game DIDN'T include the penalty text found on the physical card. Unless there's been an errata somewhere that I missed? (I just took a look, and didn't find it anywhere) Impaler has since the first edition been changed by Paizo to be consistent with other Spears, so the original printed version was wrong for having the penalty included, and the 1.0.3 version reflects the most recent official version of the card. Wow, really? Thanks for this info, apparently I'd completely failed at finding this change. That'll change the way I play this IRL too!

  12. Location: The Rusty Dragon Character: Seoni Interaction: Closed the location with 3 allies in my discard pile. Activated the closing ability to recharge 1 ally. Discarded Stride to move. Realized it still wasn't technically "end of my turn" yet (so I could only move other characters, not myself), so canceled that action. The "When closed" icon then lit up again, allowing me to recharge a second ally. Repeated the same process and was able to then recharge the 3rd ally as well.
