  1. Yep, forfeit is an easy way of saying "Thanks, I'll take all that stuff now" and keeping it. Way too easy. But compared with the 'you just got screwed by another outlandishly random roll' there has to be some mechanism for allowing you to make small gains to improve your chances.
  2. I too suspect that the number generator is somewhat 'unrandom'. The number of times I get clusters of 1-1-2-1-1 or 10-10-9-10-10 sort of rolls is just astronomically high compared to the number of times I roll 1-10-4-7-5 for example. I honestly can't think of many times that I roll anywhere near the average of any multiple dice roll. And that makes me incredibly suspicious. And yes, those 'roll a 1 for something bad to happen' are happening a little over 50% of the time for me. After eight rolls. Now, I see where we can go with 'random chance' but this is starting to sound a little bit less than I would hope. I can only say that Fate Points (a la WHFRP) is a necessary inclusion in this game for it to be less than a 'ha ha, you just got screwed over - please restart' sort of arrangement.
  3. Quest mode is broken...yes. In many more ways than one. Either it doesn't start, or it doesn't even give you enough turns to think about going through one location let alone trying to get to a second location before the turn counter dies. Six turns. That's all I got. Ha!
  4. Yeah, well I started the quest after not being able to for a day, and I was stunned to get just SIX turns total with just one guy. What a joke. Three locations, six total turns? I mean, come on, what on earth are you thinking? I can start with two guys also, and then I get the princely sum of TEN turns. I mean, seriously, is this intended to make me never want to play? Come on guys, this is really simple stuff to sort out. I am amazed that this even managed to get past your first internal check, let alone make it all the way to an Apple submission in order to fix really game-breaking stuff like this. Now I may look like a whinger, but please tell me exactly what the $24.99 was good for, other than a terminally broken attempt with very little care for the customer at all? I am your CUSTOMER. Please tell me that you actually take note? K

How about another issue: Just finished an adventure today, and at the end where I get my reward I get the really special reward something like "Sorry, you no longer have a network connection" and thus all my treasure and rewards are consigned to the ether. How about you check for the connection BEFORE you tell me my treasure is being discarded, and maybe even give me a 'retry connection' button? My idea of fun does not include working away at an adventure for a fair while just to be robbed. If you can keep track of the cards that I have won/lost, then you can damn sure keep track of the fact that I am owed gold. And PS - the screen-lockup bug when trying to use the "Quest" function is getting pretty tiring, because replaying the same adventures over and over is not a great way to win hearts and minds either.
