They MIGHT be after the endgame, at this point we realyl can't say, but I'm not betting any money on it. The way the game currently ends doesn't really allow for roaming the Deadfire after Eothas does his thing.

It looks like the flags are swapped. I just tested this; I created a new custom history and chose that I had NOT reforged the Blade of the Endless Paths. Once I fixed The Defiant and went into my cabin, the pieces of both Endless Paths and Whispers of Yenwood were waiting for me.

Just adding my two cents; this also happened to me. Flashback to Sagani spoiling Thaos' name reveal for POE1.

I see multiple people have already suggested dragon wyrmlings (no surprise there) so I'll just add my name to that pile. As a side note, any indication if arcane casters will have familiars?

Good idea go get the fix for this. I never been able to get the quest completed until I installed this fix. After that the quest completes flawlessly. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ah, maybe that's why I can never find them on the planet's surface. I do everything right, but I have *never* had them show up on Telos. For a while there I honestly wondered if you had to take the DS path to complete this flipping quest....
