  1. No. Game breaking means you CANNOT end the game. Without these side quest you can (in fact, I never Killed Danna). The problem with vitrachs is because you attacked them first (with traps, maybe a fireball you sent and hit somebody in the nest, etc, etc). So, it is not even a bug. They must fix just the dialog showing up after they are hurt. If you can, reload a save before you entered the 12th level (or the autosave if you have not left the area). I had that issue and yes, after a while testing, I found I had hurt them. It was my faul they were angry, simply loaded the autosave and everything was right between us. actually i was attacked by them right away without ever touching them first so i had no choice but to fight them or wait for a fix. im absolutely sure that i did not attack them before they attacked me. its already being looked at b the devs as ive been told so its all good.

  5. what about the quest bug in the masters tools which makes the vitriarchs attack the player even before the conversation starts and after it ends even when taking their quest? im having this issue and cannot go further down the endless path because of it, i dont want to kill the whole npc faction because of this! see for details: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/75923-quest-bug-the-masters-tools/
  6. ill try with danna but the masters tools quest is still a problem since they just auto attack me no matter what I do on the map.. im not sure if i met them before 1.03 or not.. but the püroblem is still here now after 1.03 for me nope.. checked the whole area there were no more doemel goons around but the quest is still stuck at "kill danna and her goons".. i even went to their mansion and killed everyone there to make sure

  8. you know that might have been what broke it for me.. i have ap on enemy sight and also save before most battles.. however the vithracks where already red and attacking me before the dialogue starts.. so i go in, they move towards me to attack, their boss gets close enough so the dialogue pops up, i take the quest, it pops up in the quwest log but they still attack me after the dialogue.
  9. so by now ive read about at least 5 diff. large quests that cannot be completed because of simple scripting bugs! i personally have encountered at least 2 of them in my playthough already and im maybe 50% in. one is the quest where you defend the trader from house doemel - eventhough i defended him and he still lives the quest is simply stuck at "kill danna" (shes llying dead on the floor) the other one is the masters tools on endless depth lvl 12 where you are supposed to take the quest from the vitrachs but instead they auto attack you, then the dialogue starts, you get the quest and then are forced to kill them all since they will still attack no matter what. this is game breaking since you cannot progress further down qwithout getting past them, forcing you to kill a whole npc faction and miss out on the quest and exp for no reason but buggy scripting!
  10. sadly i can only agree.. combat and AI seems utterly broken in this game, its doable with alot of patience and owrk arounds like pausing all the time and re-issuing orders, constantly watching for empty action symbols etc.. its def a HUGE step back from BG!
  11. so... anyone else? any ideas when this will get fixed? because its pretty game braking if you cant advance further into the endless depths after lvl 12 without having to kill a whole npc faction first, loosing quests and exp!
  12. im in the endless path lvl 12 right now in front ot tcharek who is supposed to give me the masters tools quest. however when i walk in the room the npcs are already red and atack me, tcharek will talk to me and give me the quest but will still attack me afterwards.
  13. i just had an idea for a feature which should not be too hard to implement: can yxou make it that whenever a party member is selected by clicking on him or the icon during battle, his battle log msg (dmg dealt, taken etc) are highlighted in the log so it become easier to follow said party member in the log?
