Yes programming wise it is easy to fix, and I read a dev's tweet that he got the fix for this already, presumably retroactive. They will try to release patch 1.03 before this weekend.

It's not like patches grow on trees. Give them time to analyse the problems, produce a working solution, test it and release it. If so simple bugs "grow on trees" (duplication stats is one of the oldest and simple bug in this kind of games), so the patches should! Where is fix ?????? Take money and release broken game. Yes, 6 days and the Pillars of Eternity is still broken, unplayable nearly for all players who want to play fair! Shame on you Obsidian. PS: I will not use some weird, cheat stuff from reddit. It's up to you whether to use or not. I gave it to ppl who wanna continue to play while waiting for patch. No need to bad mouth stuff ppl who just try to help other players, even if you feel it weird.

And you don't need to. I believe the fix in the patch will be retroactive, and there is a workaround for the time being a few posts above yours.

Update on workaround for stat-stacking bug Hi, tfigment released v9 of his CT file, now including various Accuracy Bonuses. I modified his original file to include Endurance Bonus, Healing Bonus, and AOE Bonus. However, I cannot find DR data anywhere, may be it is calculated by code, and isn't a variable. Well, Durance is around plus 4600% DMG. I killed Adra Dragon with 1 hit! For me this is a game breaking. To me it sounds like the opposite - it's making it easier for you to play the game, not harder. Since you want to be a literalist, then let change game breaking to serious bugs that will make most customers stop playing and if left uncheck, will be the end of Obsidian's business. Ok, not game breaking.

I don't think so, unless you modified it to the wrong value (it won't break the patch, but the patch may not fix your mistake). So please make sure you know the game mechanics and how to calculate stuff. But you can always mod it back. There is a good chance that the patch may recalculate everything to retroactively fix the bug, so your mistake may get fix as well.

Without any thing equipped and/or ability that mod it (bonus from attribute don't count), yes.

Hey guys, check the link out! We can fix this bug without waiting for the patch and can continue to play now. I tried, and it works, except figment's table lack the endurance (called stamina in the table) bonus, which can be faulty as well. I modified figment CT file to include the endurance bonus successfully. My chars are all fixed. I will try to upload my mod CT file here. Sweet, will do, thanks! I was debating whether I would wit for the patch or restart, but it looks like I won't have to do either! Quick question, though: does this also edit AoE % increase? Aloth's 1.1% AoE increase from his armor has been stacked a number of times in my save. Also share that opinion, they however do seem to communicate but I find it strange I have to read on pcgamer.com that they are currently working on patch 1.0.3 and that they are working on releasing it in the week of march 30, while there is no mention of this on their official site or forum. Would have loved some CM to make a buglist together with the community and keep well written/documented bug reports coming and share a bit more information what they are and aren't able to fix in time for v1.0.3 They have been communicating alot better in the past, but since release its been different. Very nice find and credits to the original poster. This however doesn't fix the issues as not ALL stats (like accuracy) is fixed to normal. I might be nitpicking, but I want to game to be completely as its supposed to be. Another thing I noticed are comments like these, which I think that even if you apply this fix, you play 5 more minutes and you have it again. Also there is a bug where the players HP increases permanently at random intervals, probably related to loading previous saves but it happens at locations other then where you picked up companions too. Example what he said. If I go further, the 'Defender' bug on Eder is still there, so that will add over time too. Even if you avoid all the bugs its more a very tedious job rather then actually focusing on the game and enjoying it. I hope it helps some people, but I will wait for the bugs to be fixed, and I hope they will do so in 1.0.3 It's ok if you wait for patch. I suggest this for people who really want to continue playing and don't mind occasional clean up faulty stats until patch come.

thank you. this worked fine. just need to be careful. onward! In order to fix Health Bonus, you have to set MaxHealth to be equal to MaxStamina. At least that the way I did it.

Possibly, it depend on the equipment you wear when save-load game in the recruiting area. Please read the first page.
