When you look at their status it says Jedi Guardian. Not Dark Jedi Guardian for the Handmaiden for example.

First, how do I get Force Crush? Second is there a mod that allows you to convert your characters to being Dark Jedi and not just simply making them Jedi Guardians or whatever?

And is it simply that it's an old game? When I look at KOTOR 2 and then look at KOTOR 1, KOTOR 1 looks so well...premative. KOTOR 2 looks more there. KOTOR 1 looks more like a daydream. Ok if you close your else and imagine something it's less there than if you actually see it. You get what I mean. KOTOR 1 just looks less bright even though both games are at the same brightness.

When I did the auto update selection I clicked Sound Blaster then Live! and then Live! again since this audio card doesn't say anything like 24 or 32 bit this or that. So the results were that service for this card has been discontinued. Dang I guess it's old. But then again recently I got my new video card, but the audio card I got in 2001 when it came with the computer.

First off thanks everyone for helping me with my video card issues. For sound I have Creative SB Live! Series (WDN). And since my video card had a site for updates, is there a site where I can get updates for my sound card? I found out EAA 2 is how high it goes in my Audio options in KOTOR 2. But I found out that if I change it to use hardware option I can hear echo sounds. I never use to.

Installed updates. Game works fine even without v sync and looks much better. But for some reason my desktop looks a little misty for some reason. Also when I did the hardware scan the video area sill had a wrning. However, no longer does it say anything about VRAM, but it does display my current driver as ATI Radeon 9550 / X1050 Series. Under that it says Graphics Recommended: ATI Radeon 9299 or better. And under that it says NVIDA Geforce 4 Ti or better. My games don't look misty though.

They are two different things. HK Factory I've played. The only thing I don't like about it is some parts when you walk around are glitchy and shakkey. This is due to the fact that it was never completed only what is there has been restored. It can get glitchy because many of the level sections weren't finished and some parts had to be connected together. So the module's structure isn't what was really meant to be, but is the best that can be done. There's no way to fix the glitchyness. As for the Droid Planet Team Exile will have the Droid Factory in their mod. However their droid factory will be differnt. swfan28 told me a little about it. Here are his words: Droid Planet 1.3 is Darth Shan's M4-78 mod. It is not connected to our project in any way. The author states in the readme that his mod is not a restoration but completion according to his own tastes. He hasn't even tried to make it true to what we know of how Obsidian originally planned the M4-78. As such he has taken the unfinished modules and filled them with his own stuff while keeping the main plot intact. It is a good mod but not compatible with ours. Darth Shan has given permission to use material from his mod but I don't think any of it will be useful to our project. We are currently planning to make all of the development in near future inside the team though some team member oppose the idea. Unfortunately this means we won't release any updates until the Darth Balor mess gets sorted out and our public image is restored. Sorry about that.

Yes it was from a box when the independent tech installed it. Driver version is: 8.221.0.0 When I update drivers I did through right clicked on My Computer and clicked advanced>then hardware devices. Pressed each of the pluses to become minuses and clicked update driver. I looked in Control Panel and I did notice this: ATI Uninstall Utility, ATI Catalyst Control Center, ATI Display Driver, ATI Parental Control & Encoder, NDVIDA Drivers, OpenGL. The tech said he uninstalled the old card. I do notice other things in the control panel that long time ago removed. Maybe it's the fact that he cloned my 50GB hard drive and put it on a new hard drive that's 200GB? That's all I can think of why some of these older things and the nVIDA Drivers would be on the list. Should I click uninstall for the NVIDA Drivers? If it comes up saying it's not really there like some of the other things is there a program that removes traces like this?

I recently upgraded my video card from a NVIDA GeForce MX 420 to a Diamond S120 256MB DDR Radeon 9550. But when I look at the configuration menu and scan hardware it says in the details of the video section "cannot detect VRAM". How do I fix this? I can put all the graphic options up all the way on resolution 1024x768, but it's a little shakey. And if I leave it on 800x600 and put the smooth shadows on the screen gets bent. Doesn't happen on a higher resolution though. And with my configuration report below, what items or other things would you recommend for me? Thank you for the comments everyone I do appreciate them. I am not imature, but you are right I am imature when it comes to like you said, about players influencing video games. Your right. I simply thought financial presure was the only way to go. I am probably wrong. Like I said before if there are other ways to get the big problems that some people have the with game fixed I am all for it. I also want to say I am all for it so long as that when satisfying the group that has problems with the game that it does not make other larger groups not like the game then.

Well my suggestion is place it in a part of the forum that allows spoilers. Also have in the topic's title Spoilers, but I think that by people seeing suggestions for KOTOR 3 might tell them they might be discussing about things that were done and what should be done now. You are right there is alot of topics, but I say so long as their posts stay relivant to the topic and they are in the right part of the forum I don't see too much of a big deal. Hades_One: Where's your proof Hades_One? Epiphany: Epiphany unlike you I have taken business courses in college so I know how things can happen and how to get them done ok. People yes people have a basic idea of what they want the game to be like, but they don't want to handle every detail. Duh. They want to be suprised. But when a game was first good and a sequel does not live up to the first or might have things that can be corrected others can and have the right to speak up. Things can get done. Also by shwing that company produces the game that they might have a possible loss if they do not fix things, is a very powerful incentive. It is productive. It does not make companies go away as you say. It makes them work harder. We live in a capitalistic country whether we like it or not. If one company refuses to do the job another will step up to the plate to do so. Even if Obsidian were to refuse to fix the problems which I doubt they would since it is in their best interest, it would not make a company disapear like you have stated Epiphany. It just makes them have a loose. And since you guys are helpful as I have seen I thought you might be able to answer when the dates are. My feeling exactly. I don't mind if a game producer says we need more time to finish the game. I'd reather them take longer and have a game complete without things missing and problems, than a game with things cut from it and problems.

Though what I would like to see is all new characters, there needs to be some closure to the other older characters like Bastila, Carth, and Revan sometime. Maybe not in this game, but after a while won't people get tired of them?
