cd1 contains a cab format file but i can install the first cd, but i cant install the second cd becaouse it says that i need a microsoft cab format signature.

I have a microsoft cab format signature problem. I can't install cd2 because it's a zip file,which is converted into cab format. You can install cd2 in windows 98 but not in XP. Can you help please?
