You are master Yoda. Yoda's teachings are far reaching within the Jedi order. Ever the diplomat, scholar and teacher - Yoda seeks to enlighten through wisdom, experience and discipline. Yoda employs the lightsaber form Ataru in which the practioner uses The Force in conjunction with his own physical prowess to achieve unparalleled acrobatic skill, accuracy and speed. Skill is stressed over raw power. He has trained many Master Jedi - most notably Count Dooku, Mace Windu and Obi-Wan Kenobi and is one of only four Jedi to have preserved his personal identity after death. Qui-Gon Jinn 89% Luke Skywalker 89% Mace Windu 89% Exar Kun 39%

Whenever I complete a planet, and speak with one of the Jedi Masters, they teach me a new lightsaber form (I am a Weaponmaster/Guardian), and when they teach me the new lightsaber form, there is a specific combat animation that accompanies the particular form. For example, when Master Vrook taught me the Ataru (agression form) at Khoonda, the Ataru attack consisted of leaping into the air and jabbing downwards, along with other distinct saber thrusts and parrying. However, when my character uses the form in combat, he does not replicate those particular animations. Was this something left out due to hurried production, or a fixable bug? I think it would greatly add to the game if it were possible to restore these saber animations, if at all possible. I wish Obsidian did not include these distinct animations for the Masters when they teach the saber forms, if it wasn't going to be included with our own characters - its like holding water in front of a thirsty person just out of their reach!

Can't enter Ebon Hawk on Nar Shaddaa
Sinbreaker replied to SteveThaiBinh's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
If you have already been contacted by Visquis from the Exchange who is at the Jar Jar Tek alien bar, you will not be able to enter the Ebon Hawk again until you storm the bar, shed some alien blood and defeat him. -
Tirggering Sparring with Handmaiden
Sinbreaker replied to Sinbreaker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
If I am able to train her as a Jedi before sparring with her the third time, that won't cause any bugs will it? Or are you only able to have enough influence to train her as a Jedi after you sparr the third time? -
Just curious - I just finished sparring a second time with the Handmaiden, and have finished all conversation loops that are available to me up to that point with her. Only problem is, I cannot convince her to become a Jedi because I need a bit more influence with her, and the only way I can do so is by sparring again. Is the third sparr triggered by a visit to another world or by levels of experience?

Skills for Breaking Down Items
Sinbreaker replied to Sinbreaker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
"Maximum efficiency is acheived with a repair skill of 15" Is 15 the level of maximum efficiency for all skills? or just for repair? ""ou can use other NPC character's repair skill for creating items"" So you can use any other character's skills' for anything on the workbench or lab except breaking down items? am I correct? -
Skills for Breaking Down Items
Sinbreaker replied to Sinbreaker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
aha, that would explain why all the items I break down have a value of 1.... :D So what is the ratio of repair skill to how many components you are able to retrieve? -
Which Skills are used to break down items at the workbench? Do any of you know the ratio-rate requireed for the skill to retrieve as many components possible from an item?

Bugged - Team Combat Modes

Could you post a link to that? -
I was unpleasantly surprised to see that Atris had aged several decades from the promotional posters to her in-game modeling. Her voice was AWFUL as well. I don't know what the heck the Exile saw in THAT woman. I guess Him leaving her made her go ugly =P jk. What a dissapointing character, so much potential. I wanted to see her take down Nihilus.

Hey - I dont know if any of you have had this problem, but on my PC version of KOTOR II, there is no "defense" team combat stance, but the others are there (aggressive, stationary, etc.) However, even with the others, the characters dont seem to always act in accord to the combat stance. For example, it states that with the ranged stance, charcters switch to melee if their opponents close in. Mine, who are armed with ranged on one weapon set, and melee on another, do not do that. It seems the other combat stances are also somewhat bugged. Do you guys know of any fixes for this? Help would be appreciated

I am convinced it is a bug - I tried it again. On the Same bench one moment I will be able to break down items normally, but when I go back to it, all the values revert to one.
-
Yeah I dont know. The sloppy finish or lack thereof of this game makes me suspect this is either a bug, or something underdeveloped. DAMN THE PROFIT INCENTIVE AND SCREW ECONOMICS EQUILIBRIUM DAMNIT! STupid Lucas arts.....

I sense a disturbance in the Force...
Sinbreaker replied to Centaur's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Evil exists because of our free will. If we had no free will, you would not be posting here. Denyin that is the stupidest thing ever. That would mean noobody would be responsible for their actions, and thus, all criminals should be freed from jail, since man lacks free will, and hence cannot be held responsible for what he does. Man lives under the moral law that guides his soul, but he is free to disobey it, because of his free will. God will not force a soul to be good, it must arise from the inner most being of the soul to desire to be good. Ultimately, modernity tries to blurr free will, because modernity does not want to live a moral life. That would mean being responsible for the sins and evil they do, and the moral exceses and indulgences. Repentance is something modernity cannot bear itself to do. -
I feel guilty about making darkside choices, and I never play darkside as well. IN fact, I even feel guilty sometimes when I make neutral choices, knowing I could have done more to help somone. THough it is a video game, the paths we take are in a small way, a reflection of our inner being. THose who enjoy too much the darkside should be careful....

That is strange, because at times, I have been able to use the other characters to breakdown itmes, using their different skill levels, like atton for repair, mira for demo, etc. or Mine with my insane healing abilities on Nar Shadda. The bug at times doesn't allow for that....even with my Exile Character's high healing rate, sometimes the medical supplies I break down will only yield me a value of 1
-
I did a quick search of the forums, and couldnt find any mods for this bug. Basically, even when I have a character with insane skills for demo, repair, or the relevant skill required for breaking down an item (around the 20's), all the components' breakdown values still remain at 1. any mods to fix this problem?

Right, that would make a great difference and a much better presentation, if they somehow indicated that the tomb wanted you to be either indifferent or to choose the evil choice. The fact Traya remains without any explanation is either sloppy programming and plot scripting or a bug. I still find it strange that I would get lightside points for choosing the right answer. That reward makes it suspiciously look like a bug.
-
Um it should be able to accept the Lightside choice, and it is obviously a bug, as Traya remains after you kill everyone, and you can go through the whole proccess again with her, if you keep chosing the lightside answer. Remember in the original KOTOR? On Kashyyk, even though the Star Forge comp was darkside, it eventually acceppted Revan's lightside answers (if you were LSM).
-
When you confront the false image of Darth Traya in the Korriban Tomb, and she asks if you will protect her from your companions so that she can be redeemed, the lightside chioce (where you agree to protect her), leads to a looping bug. After you defeat the illusion images of your companions, Darth Traya's image still remains, and you cannot open the door to fight Revan's illusion. The only way to get Darth Traya to go away and get into the next room is to pick any other choice, but of course, incurring darkside points, losing your lightside mastery, and the subsequent +3 widsdom bonus, which is a pain -,- Any patches for this?

Leveling to Prestige Class
Sinbreaker replied to Sinbreaker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yeah, I guess not having Kreia with me as much kept me down somehwat. I just checked my last saved game, and I leveled 16 Consular, 11 Master. It seems a bit strange to me that obsidian would allow you the possibility to level up to 50 but not provide a legitimate means(i.e., not exploiting bugs *cough*) of reaching it. -
Now Now kids, lets be nice to each other...
-
When I achieve lightside mastery, and bring the other characters close to it, they keep fluctuating around lightside mastery. In one instance, I will check on visas or the handmaiden, and they will be fully maximized with lightside mastery, and bestowed with the benefits that come with it ( the +3 const. for Guardians, and +3 Dex for sentinels if I remember correctly), but I check back again in 30 seconds, and they have somehow dropped just below maximization, and don't have the benefits. No conversations and poor choices to tirgger such fluctuations, they just seem to happen.... This is particularly annoying when I have to choose which items to arm my characters with, as a plus 3 shift greatly changes things around... Is this a real bug, or just part of the game?
