  1. The definition of "True Sith" would be "trained by racial Sith (or half-sith)". Palpatine and such were just part of the order started by Darth Bane, who was a Dark Jedi.
  2. Dude, the Rakatan Empire collapsed millennia before the Sith Empire was created. They've been trapped on that planet ever since. The True Sith Empire was crushed by the Republic in the Great Hyperspace War, 1000 years before KOTOR 1. The True Sith Revan discovered, were remnants of that Empire who have grown strong and united during that millenniun.
  3. By the way, Sion was a Sith Master on Korriban under Revan and Malak's rule. He was not present on Malachor V. He may have been one of the Jedi that joined Revan in the Mandalorian Wars, or simply a soldier who was discovered to have a high midichlorian count, and taken into training. He was taught to master pain by Kreia, in the Trayus Academy, long after the Battle of Malachor V.
  4. I agree, "hidden past" has played its role. I say they should go for "insignificant past". And the focus should be on the new PC's future.
  5. Yeah... you do realize that half the stars listed have little no talent? Also: 1) With that many stars, that's going to be a really expensive movie, and that's before adding in CGI. 2) Why use well-known actors for parts like Nihilus? It's not like he says anything. 3) None of those stars are going to want such small roles. 4) Online petitions NEVER work.
  6. Tulak Hord. After him, lightsaber combat has degenerated into what we see in the movies. But, as for the movies, Darth Maul, trained since BIRTH, was the best duelist. Too bad he was also a sadist and easily distracted.
  7. 1) The Exile never achieved a rank higher than Padawan. 2) KOTOR I and II take place in the Outer Rim. I can only assume you mean the Unknown Regions.
  8. LA has stated that the LS ending is canonical, which bugs me, since I always thought of Revan as evil. The LS ending is also canonical in KotOR II, sadly. Hopefully the next game won't be.
  9. Uh, who was this directed to? Anyway, thing is, not even movies go this deep. So why should video games? Or maybe you want a 'hit the bowl' game every time Revan takes a leak?
  10. I think he simply wondered if KotOR 3 would be released on Xbox 360 (Xbox 2) or Xbox, in addition to the PC release. The game is coming to PC, of course.
  11. I would think it's the same as the German das vaterland which is a neuter term saying "the land of my father", since Scandinavian languages are essentially Germanic, I would guess the same goes here. But I must admit, never given it much thought. ^_^ Also, in Denmark at least, I have never heard anyone refer to the nation by gender. Except for ships though, but that's not what you meant was it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I didn't understand this bit: did you mean that when talking about the fleet of Denmark, one would refer to it as "Her navy", or a particular ship is referred to as "her", as in "her crew"? Also, Phillip K. D1ck (PKD) specifically reversed the proportions of latin and germanic derivative words in his writing. His works contain words with roughly 90% germanic and 10% classical origins. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Meta, he meant that ships are referred to as 'her', but not the nation. This is the case for all the Scandinavian countries.
  12. Size, length, more villains, more face types for NPCs. I'd do nothign to the story, except making it longer. Much, much longer.
  13. Thing is, Baley, you can't have a true RPG with a story like this. Revan influenced the Star Wars universe enormously, and therefore there must be a set story for the databanks and such. Would you have preferred 'mysterious stranger with no backstory swoops in and saves the world'?
