That's not the point. Palpatine set up the situation with Grevious so the council would send away Kenobi. He suggested Anakin should go in order to guarantee Kenobi was sent.
-
This is an example of illogic. Why does a recomendation of Anakin lead to the sending of Obi-Wan in a logical line of reasoning? It doesn't. Irrelevent to who Palpatine recomended they would've sent Obi-Wan, he was the resident general of the council, Mace was responsible for protecting Coruscant while Yoda was sent to Kashyyyk. Kenobi was probably the most experienced of the council whom was not busy with some other assignment. Anakin -> Obi-Wan isn't a logical line of thinking, unless you can explain why the council would arrive at that conclusion. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sorry let me ellaborate Palpatine knows that the council does not trust Anakin or himself. So he recomends Anakin knowing that the Jedi will be annoyed that he is telling them what to do. In order to show Palpatine that he cannot control the Jedi they say no to Anakin. So they send the next logical person- Kenobi Any clearer?

He sent general Grevios to Upatu knowing that the counci lwould send a Jedi. He even suggested Anakin so the council would say no and send Kenobi. Obviously a tactical thinker!

In other respects though, Visas is more of a classy lady than Handmaiden. "I'm not dancing for no Hutt" "I'm not fighting you in my underwear in the cargo hold" Modesty at all times people!

"Am thinking, if it was Obi then either Anakin would actually knock out the emperor to protect the friend from the lighting thingies, or even if he didn't then Obi Wan would've still stayed true to the 'jedi way' and just tried to arrest Palps, giving Anakin no reason to attack like Mace did." Exactly! And that's why Palpatine arranged for Kenobi not to be there! All the general grevious stuff was just a distraction so Palpatine could get Anakin on his own.

Who was the best of the best lightsaber user?

I voted Mace, but now i'm thinking Obi Wan. Best bit of Episode 3! -
I think the main point you are missing here is- What's wrong with Mandalore?
-
Yeah that betrayal scene was great. Also I liked the way that clone commander gave Obi Wan back his lightsaber. "You'll be needing this" About 20 seconds later he gives the order to kill him. Slightly ironic if you ask me!

Dark Side easier ? I don't think so.

Technically they aren't bad guys, you are! As a sith lord, not only do you have to kill the Sith but the Jedi also. On Duxn it would be better if you could ally yourself with the sith lords, no? Just a thought..... -
That's a good point! I think Anakin wouldn't have killed Obi Wan That's why Palpatine arranged General Grevious to preoccupy Obi Wan As soon as Obi Wan was out of the picture, Anakin has no-one to help him. Also just like to say how great Obi Wan looks at the end when Anakin looks up to see him on the ship with all the Jedi gear. You get a quick look at Obi Wan in an ultra heroic pose. Gotta say that was a great bit for me.

I make a convincing arguement -
It seems that if you study anything in depth, that you will find something hypocrytical. In this case different views of the force are contradicting each other. Such is the way of the world! Wise words indeed......

You really think Obi Wan could have killed Darth Vader on the Death Star? It looked like he was struggling to me -

Yeah give them a break people! They are actually doing something about it rather than talking on a forum like the rest of us. <_< -
Yea Obi Wan is TEH man! I really think E.McGregor did a swell job. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hear Hear!
-
Nice idea, but I don't think it fits with the RPG style.
-
Did anyone else's opinion of Obi Wan go up after that film? I used to think he was just one lucky dude, always narrowly avoiding a lightsaber to the head. In other words a bit lame. But at the end of episode 3, that battle with Anakin and the "You were my brother" line really got me.

Like out of some kind of horror film? Cool Has anyone managed to get Handmaiden 100% evil? I managed it with Mira and Visas, but they don't look all that different.

Merci!

The darkside is a path that leads to much power, but i wouldn't say it's any harder or easier. If you want difficulty just go to options and select "EASY". -
Good point, but if they were to mate "hypotheticaly" wouldn't the offspring look like some sort of super freak? Perhaps born with one eye, or half white/half black hair? Get someone to do some fanart!

So what happened to the content patch?
Bytor replied to Demigod's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
To be honest, it's amazing the game ever got released in the first place. It's amazing it was finished in time! (Oh wait..........) -
Good Point. Also has anyone noticed how cool darkside Atton looks with his crumbling face? On that point has anyone managed to get Disciple darkside mastery? If so what does he look like??

Also since Visas Marr was in fact a Miraluka, surely the human exile is genetically different. Does anyone know if it's socially acceptable to have a relationship with someone from a different species in the Star Wars Galaxy? As far as i know it never happens in the films anyway. On that point is Handmaiden a different species, being echani? Surely a puzzling concept indeed........ <_<
