  1. The first was a tiny fix for non-North American versions only, correcting a problem with the manual.pdf file.  The second was a regular bug fix, and there's a link to it on Obsidian's home page.  It fixes some problems, fails to fix a lot more, and creates a few new bugs as well.

I'd like to point out that the second patch, at least for north american versions, corrupts the manual so you can't use it.
  2. I was just sparring with the handmaiden, the second match on the Ebon Hawk where we could use vibrolades but no force powers.

Anyway I used the old force choke on her to see what would happen (the first time we sparred I put on the armour and got to lecture her about using whatever means you can in a fight), and to my surprise her corpse is now lying in the cargo hold.

I'm pretty sure thats not supposed to happen, I cant take a screenshot either because I am on Xbox, so has this ever happened to anyone else?

EDIT- OH MY GOD, I just left the ship to see if I could select her and her picture is gone, In the space where her name should be it just says:-

"I am broken, so very broken"

I've heard of that before. you just have to reload from an earlier save.
  3. its not canon to me till i see an entry in the SW.com databank or LA.com make an anouncement on the site lol.

really DSF Revan and LSM Exile would be a better option, LSM Exile has more love interests. Also the DSF and Carth situation would be a great part in any games or comics, does Mr Republic do his duty or follow his heart? when a LSM Exile has his glowrod in DSF Revan's face :D

then go there and check. and mr republic dies at the hands of dsf revan if you follow through with the romance so it wouldn't matter anyways. :D
  4. To complete the Redemption quest you shouldn't show anyone your lightsabers, and you should only speak to the administrator abot this topic. After defending Khoonda, the quest will be completed.

A question: One of my characters met with the escaped criminals, but an another didn't and I dont't know how to complete that quest. Can anyone help me with this?

it's all random whether they will show up or not. there is a fix that is supposed to make them show up all the time but what I do is right when I see the criminals in czerka's office, I go tell grenn that I killed them.
  5. Even then doesn't the DEX bonus only effect the "to hit" and not damage? So, if you want to do more damage with your saber you're still going to need a higher strength, weapon finesse: light saber or not. Right?

Correct - but with your "average" fully upgraded saber (before crytstals) doing 9-39 points of damage already (up to 11-57 with regular crystals, and up to 20-60 with your name crystal), the added bonus of exceptionally high STR is kind of over kill.

I guess it really comes down to ... would you rather have a PC with:

    - awesome defense and attack, but average damage (Finesse + DEX focus)

    - awesome attack and damage, but average defense (STR focus)

    - or -

    - above average defense, attack, and damage (balance between STR and DEX)

it doesn't matter. they'd all pwn because of the pathetic enemies k2 has to offer. although my last build was the second option. still, he was quite powerful. 51-100 damage on that lightsaber with criticals spiking upwards of 200.
  6. Mira: No thanks, but you're a little old.

    Exile: What?

Mira: That's what the script says...

Exile: How can I be older if I fought in the Mandalorian Wars and you were a slave in them?

    [Mira shrugs].

==> I don't agree with that, when you talk to mira she says that she was a child when she use to carry weapons and mines for the mandalorians. But the exile was at least 20..."

But she would've had to been a bit older than a child. Because the Mandalorian Wars were supposedly 6 years ago? That means if she was like 8, 9, 10, or 11 ("child" ages) she would be like, at the most, 17 or 18. I've always pictured the Exile as like 25-30 because six year back they'd've been like 19-24.

*cough* the end of the mandalorian wars ended ten years ago.
  7. yeah, sometimes they wear it and sometimes they don't. force masks use the same look as the shield masks and the arkanian blinders, so it could be those rather than the force masks. also, the force in force masks doesn't mean non force-sensitives can't wear them, it means that it protects against the force to a degree.

  8. One thing I noticed concerns Kae's exile from the jedi order.

We're told that the reason for it is that she has a child and is disgraced when this is discovered, and then she is exiled from the order, since jedi aren't allowed to have children.

But one thing that struck me as odd is that we heard about Jolee Bindo's backstory in K1, and his infraction of the rules seems to be far worse. He took a wife, which is against the rules in the first place. Then he taught her the jedi ways against the wishes of the masters. She then turned Sith and joined Exar Kun's ranks in the Sith War. She tried to recruit Jolee to the dark side, and when he wouldn't, she tried to kill him. He defeated her, but could not bring himself to kill her, and so she lived and escaped to kill other jedi. And what did the jedi order do? They forgave Jolee. They said he needed sympathy. Jolee left the order not because they blamed him, but because he couldn't stop blaming himself, and they wouldn't take his guilt seriously. Jolee knew the responsibility was his and he accepted it. The council could learn a lot from Jolee.

Now, Kae has a child and she's exiled for it? Next to Jolee, that seems to be an exceedingly harsh and cruel sentence. So she fell in love and had a child. Big deal. Jolee not only fell in love, he married and taught the force to someone who then couldn't handle it. His crime was far greater, yet he was pardoned? Odd...

Not really, they commited their "offences" at different times. Jolee during the TotJ era, where the Jedi were more liberal with things like love and marriage - I mean Andur was married to Nomi.

Generally, it's believed that the "Thou shalt not marry/thou shalt not love" stuff came into affect sometime after the Sith War. No doubt these sorts of changes had yet to come into affect when Jolee was tried. As the younger masters (Vrook - ha, imagine young Vrook!) superceded these old masters, they brought their own more "right-wing" opinions, having been knights seeing comrades fall during the Sith War, often due to emotions like love- thus the Jedi Order became more rigid and unforgiving of such crimes.

That's the stance I take on it anyway.

nomi only undertook jedi training when her husband died.
  9. Well theres a glitch where he accidently kills one of the guy's who is  walking around the Khoonda base.

hahahaha. I had something similar to that where vrook was attacking an invisible force and I could hear vrook grunt as he was getting shot. come to think of it. he was doing that in the area where suulru is except that suulru wasn't there.
  10. about the evidence to incriminate zherron. that's the atmospheric sensors. I usually only incriminate zherron when I'm ds cause then I can kill the black guy for ds points and 5050 credits and then get zherron removed temporarily from post.

You need to have Bao-Dur when finding these sensors though.

And what "black dude" are you talking about, the one that wants these sensors?

    PS. Moved to spoilers section...

yeah, that guy. I never remember his name.
