I like the jedi robes for the bonuses (+6 strength from crado's robe anyone?
) and the looks. though in terms of defense I have to say that with the right upgrades, felenar armor provides the best defense. -
when canderous said raping and pillaging worlds I didn't imagine that kind of rape.I don't know about Star Trek, but I picture that rape is very common practice in the Mandalorian culture. A Mandalorian takes a woman from another world/culture as a slave, rapes her, children are raised Mandalorian. -
what? that's completely backwards from what everyone else says.I LOVED the art that French dude did of Atris and Nihilus for some magazines way back when... it's what first peaked my interest KotOR II (for some reason, despite being an avid SW fan, I wasn't anticipating it). But the official artwork isn't all good, and especially Atris looks terrible! She looks nothing like her beautiful in game model, neither in shape nor color. What's up with that?Too bad the magazine paintings of Nihilus and Atris fighting weren't possible...

hm. eax works fine for me. 9600xt runs kotor 1 and 2 well with 2xaa I tried 4x but I got those stupid lines. otherwise when I had my 9600xt I could run everything else maxed at 1280x1024 with the only slow downs due to that damn smoke. of course now I enjoy far superior performance on my 6600gt. :D

doom 3 was released on xbox and it looked pretty good.Speaking of Half-Life 2, I heard it was going to be released on the X-Box? If it is, it won't look half as good. Mabye if it's on the 360, but they should leave it on the PC. -

Darth Maul doesn't die either and is killed by Obi-Wan and Lars Owen way after his first encounter with Obi-wan. He does this right after finding out about the 'chosen one'...being Luke of course.

yeah, he does die but he becomes yet another ghost that anakin encounters later on.

mines aren't meant to be thrown. they're usually placed for unsuspecting enemies to step on or in kotor's case opening doors and containers as well as the enemies.

don't forget purple. :DI'm pretty much against any of the colours that are not in the films.....so unless it's blue, green, purple or red I dont believe that they belong in SW

if you do everything possible in the game you get 59 movies. there are 2 more movies that can't be unlocked in game making 61. then there are the opening movies.

I was doing that towards you playing with a manaquin.you still get subtitles for non-basic speaking characters. there are some parts that don't get subtitled that should be subtitled like visquis's message and hk-47 quoting a twi'lek metaphor.I have tried playing through KotOR1 without subtitles on, but i have such a short attention span, i usually end up either clicking to skip the dialogue, or playing with a manikin i have on my desk, distracting me from the story.

what?kreia said that the masters blamed and sentenced her for revan's fall, which is a lie.. she went to war before revan took up the mantel of dark lord, and never came back - so she must have been exiled before^^ and for some other reason like mating with a big echani general and giving birth to brianna!

I think bloom was restored in 5.7yeh the slowdown on Dantooine is still there, but if you save the game and then reload, its back to normal speeds, just don't go to the menu or it goes like it again.But the glows work now, so i am pleased.

Has anyone played the game with sub titles turned off?I'm not sure if it'd be possible to do that and still follow all portions of the story, especially if you have Hanharr in your party (unless you understand Wookiee), and when you meet aliens who don't speak in Basic.

I think they're 640x480. they actually don't look bad if your screen's max resolution was 640x480 it's just that most of us have 1024x768 screens or higher and it switches to 640x480 resolution which looks ugly rather than just playing it at our set resolution.Concerning the movies: "Low-res" movies?
They're at least 640x272 (except for the recorded in-game cut scenes.). They look fine to me, except for the fact that they're interlaced (God, do I hate PC biks with interlace! :angry: ). Why would they need to up the resolution? I'm not asking them to be 800x342 or 1024x438 but the interlaced removed and the movies recompressed from it's original source (which I hope is not interlaced and is high def.{yeah, I rant}.) You should at least be greatful that Obsidian made better sounding biks than BioWare. I don't mean to offened anyone, so don't flame me for this.

yeah, but it doesn't get to the point like darth maul's did.When I played through the game DS, I started gaining influence with Bao-Dur (even though it caused me to gain some LS points). Although I quit playing as a DS character halfway, I noticed that Bao-Dur looked a whole lot different then when I played as LS. His skin looked like it had separated in places revealing black skin underneath. I was wondering if his skin turns red along with the black like Darth Maul. -
enhanced shielding visor.why does everyone insist on thinking that they're Force Masks? They could be Shielding Visors (they protect against energy, electrical, and sonic, etc.), for that matter... and there are masks that protect against force powers (Force Shielding Visor), but also inhibit the wearer's wisdom and whatnot...not a big deal for non-force senstives.I think we're calling them that cause that's what they call them in the game.
Since when are they all refered to as Force Masks in the game? The Force Shielding Visor, Shielding Visor, Advanced Shielding Visor, etc. all look exactly the same. As in, there is no way to tell them apart just by looking at them. The masks that the mercenaries are wearing could be any one of those.

well, he tells you what revan told him before he/she left for the unknown regions. it varies a little depending on whether you chose a ds or ls revan.I usually don't build much influence with Mandalore, because there doesn't seem to be much point. He can't become a jedi, doesn't have much of a backstory (that you hear, at least), doesn't grant you any special abilities or bonus, and doesn't reveal any secrets at all...At least as far as I have experienced or read on any forum or in any spoilers or guides.
