  1. I know that i might be going against the stream here but I was really annoyed by the might stat in poe 1 ! (muscle wizards ) Resolve always been a dump stat especially for power gamers so i welcome the change to make it way more meaningful for caster builds I really hope the developers wont cave in again. As i have seen in other posts some people complain about this change but at the same time would not be against to give I believe it was the deflection bonus to eighter INT or PER those two stats are already plenty useful as they are The one stat that really needed a buff here was resolve wich they tried to adress and i think obsidian did a good job (at least on the drawing board i dont have beta access) the one stat that still could use a slight buff beside resolve is constitution in my opinion
  2. Hm that is unacepptable i want to keep my initial spirit shift not lose it for the Blight/aka Elemental form plus just lightning that is a big NO GO i want Water&Fire and Earth as well ! On the topic of spirit shifts do they look diffrent are their bonuses changed ? (do they scale with level now ? they really should have from the start like the fire god likes one did in poe 1) This is a bit of topic but did the god like abilities change ? Still no helmets ? I found some of them to be quite lacking i am looking at you nature god like ! What about fighting styles ? Is one handed style finally a great choice ? @MaxQuest could you post a screenshot of the druid blight form ? I am curious

I have tried it a little and i must say some things are still not as i would like them to be the "multi-class" talents for example we all know that some are better than others my querstion is why are they weaker than the "original" version ? I mean we pay a talent for the ability talents are valuable so it would be fair to gain the same as the class that the ability originates from. Also they all should be at least 1 per encounter instead of per rest that sounds fair. Lastly some of them should be revisited the Druid or Chanter talent for example just aint worth it in my opinion . Speaking about the Druid can someone tell me what exactly scales with level ? Damage and DR only ? Because if thats the case there are basically only 2 forms that make sense to me eighter the Bear or the cat so it would be cool if the Wolf the Stag and the Boar recieved a boost to actually make them attractive choices. I really like the Stag for example but the few bonuses to your defense throws don't make this form a good choice. Yes i do know casting is better and that the Spiritshift is only a gimmick but it is a really cool gimmick :D Has anyone tried chanters and their faster chants yet ? I would appreciate some feedback on that the same goes for 1 handed style is it actually a good option now ? Since you asked for some feedback on Athletics and Survival i can't really say much about athletics i only had like one point in athletics but if it does scale well enough throughout the whole game a free heal is always good . As for survival i like what you did there since the extended duration option is still available if you invest enough having more options and thus being more adaptable is a good thing in my book

When i say bonus damage reduction or damage reduction in the post right above this one i of course mean DR bypass for the weapons and styles mentioned (sorry ) one handed style also should grant an increased crit multiplier those extra 25% sure would come in handy as would DR bypass for all fast weapons

I have already said a few things in the what needs to be fixed before launch thread but i forgot to point out that bows also should be made a viable choice be it hunting or war bows and that i hope the clipping stuff will be okay at launch I asked that question before in the thread i mentioned above but to increase the chance of an answer i will ask here again can anyone tell me what bonus a flail grants ? is it still that lame ignore a portion of shield defense thing ? or has it been changed ?

From the top of my head Spiritshift: Yes i know they just got buffed but they are nowhere near as good as they should be especially if you start taking magical equipment into account 1 handed fighting style: 1 h style is seriously lacking it needs faster attack speed a default damage reduction and deflection bonus you only have one weapon so you have to make it count the talent should also be revisited 20% graces to hits just won't do eighter make that number considerably higher or change the bonus the talent grants altogether Fast weapons: As for the fast weapons they would need something like that as well maybe an accuracy bonus as they are small and easy to use ? they really could use bonus damage reduction as of right now stilettos are the go to choice due to that it would be a great default trait to have for fast weapons their speed factor might need a little tweaking as well they are fast weapons after all The racial bonuses: The godlike traits all seem underwehelming especially those that activate once you are below 50% stamina i mean they sacrifice the ability to wear helmets nice shiny magical helmets so they have to be compensated accordingly my suggestion for the nature godlike would be to extend the duration of all their spells and abilities that might be op though we need one attribute that allows us to gain accuracy the reasons for that have already been stated by others i would also like to see spells and abilities scale with level including spiritshift pathfinding and engagement/disengagment are a given that is all i can think of right now i have a question can anyone tell me what bonus a flail grants ? is it still that lame ignore a portion of shield deflection thing ? or has it been changed ?
  10. Hello everyone ! =D Honestly i really don't wanna see BG or IWD op Monks again !!!!!!!!! But in regards of balance that goes for every other class as well be it fighters, rogues or wizards no class should be to powerful or to weak. That being said no a fighter should not be able to use two modals at once just NO ! Its already (more than) enough that confident aim stacks with 1h style or that they can learn rapid regeneration ! Will there be more heads for characters ? Im asking because neighter fire or moon godlike have one that i really want its more like ok i take you but only because i don't have any other options. More heads for everyone ! =D Testing the druid a bit i noticed that the boar is the only spiritshift that does piercing damage instead of slashing shouldn't there at least be one form that does crushing damage amongst the 5 ? The Deer for example ? Speaking of the deer you are supposed the get a deflection bonus as well as one for saving throws while in deer form how high is that bonus exactly ? and is it actually working ingame yet ? The same goes for the boar dot and seriously 1 endurance regeneration seems meager compared to the fighters 4. About the nature godlikes Wellspring of Life ability does it work with the boar regeneration ? or with a fighters endurance recovery ? Since all spiritshift forms are dual wielders does the two weapon fighting style talent work for them ? Right now the nature godlikes ability seems to be a bit lacking compared to the other godlikes. Maybe one needs to rethink this ability it should not only make hot effects occur faster but also make benefical effects of spells and potions last longer or be more potent. About the wolf spiritshift form. You get a higher movement rate and can knock down enemies compared to what the other forms get that just feels plain. I mean this is the werewolf we are talking about after all the most iconic of all lycanthrophes and the abilities should reflect that ! Oh and one more thing i would really like to see "useful wich means competetive" throwing weapons in that game like stars,knifes,and axes. Fast speed but low damage for stars, medium speed and damage for knifes, and slow speed but high damage for axes. Talking about speed i still think combat is to fast and i hope something will be done about it before the game is released.   11. Hello my friends i heed your wise words and it did help to an extent at least. My thanks goes to everyone that offered help =). I manage to get into the game better now though it still loves to crash every now and than and it runs kinda slow at times but that might be just my machine. Nontheless the Druid has proven to be particulary troublesome wich is especially frustrating for me since i really love playing that class ! =( The game will eighter crash as soon as i choose a Druid or if it is as generous as to let me get into the game actually it will definatly crash if i "dare" try to level up. @spike are you from germany ?
  12. Well what can i say i was exited yay first patch first improvements however my exitement was very short lived. The patch literally made the game unplayable for me i can not even create a character anymore it eighter crashes as soon as i choose a class or it lets me repeat spell selection over and over after the first time however all spell icons exept one are missing so i dont even get as far as the attribute screen. And if i try to skip that or hit the back button the game starts giving me graphic issues like me suddenly being a dwarf even though i choose something completly diffrent before + it kinda puts the spell selection screen in there as well. I am extremly disappointed and can only hope the next patch will come very soon and that it will finally make things better instead of worse.
  13. What is the recovery time if your only using 1 weapon and no shield ? Is it the same as 1h + shield ? In my opinion it should be a little faster than that. Maybe 0.5 seconds.
  14. So there is no 1h style bonus recovery & deflect & crit wise ? only accuracy ? I think that style should really be offered and not overlooked as in soooo many other games the same goes for throwing weapons ! =D as some other people said before 2h weapons seem op right now !

Hello Friends and fellow Players ! =) First of all i must say that i have extremly high expectations for this game and i want it to be as good, polished and fine tuned as possible im pretty sure i am not the only one given how long we have been waiting for another game like this. Right now all i have is a first impression didnt play that much yet but im planning to test it out more in the next couple of days / weeks and point out what i notice/ feels important to me. Maybe it wont be the most urgent issues we all know that the game needs a lot of polish right now after all however it will be those that i care about. If we all do that we should get one FANTASTIC game in the end right ? =) So without further delay: Fire Godlike: Am i the only one that would like burning beards ? ^^ their racial ability should also be changed increasiong damage threshold below 50% health ? Come on this is FIRE it should be all about the BOOMM the explosions and dealing damage. Druids: I LOVE Druids but right now i dont feel like YAY i wanna play a Druid 4 out of 5 "Lycanthropy" Forms are kinda greyish thats not cool at all how about a white wolf with red or blue glowing eyes for example bring in some color and diversity people. Also I still have no idea what bonus the Wolf and the cat grant. Is it intended for all of them to do the same amount of damage ? Furthermore i would like to request a Dinosaur Shapechange if it is not already in the game and available by picking a talent once you level up enough ! =D Ranger: I kinda feel disappointed with the Animal companions i was hoping for a few more extraordinary options amongst those for example a "landshark" a "tentacle cat" or a "raptor".
