  1. You saw the ending. That's it, that's all. Read the Cut Ending Stuff thread for more details of how the ending was supposed to be, then feel free to lend your support to the petition to have the cut ending restored. "
  2. The only difference, really, is that you don't see Malachor 'explode' and the Ebon Hawk does not show up to fly you away.
  3. Yeah, listened to those too. I think she may have been encountered on the Droid Planet, since it seems her dialogue is in folders with what sounds like droid VOs for the Droid Planet.
  4. Not cut ending stuff, but more cut scenes that explain where Colonel Tobin goes after Kreia talks with him, and why he just shows up on the Ravager. Listen to the tracks in /kotor2/streamvoice/853/nihtobin
  5. It is a sad day indeed when we're doing the job of the developers and putting an ending to the game that should have been there in the first place. Good job on those sound clips, perfect music track for Atton's Death.
  6. There is actually more plot elements for the romances, they were just cut from the game. The whole ending was pretty much gutted. Observe: http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=29764
  7. Most memorable moment? Finding out that the game's REAL ending(s) was left on the cutting room floor, leaving us this dreadful mess of nonsensical plot holes and seemingly pointless NPCs. That was my memorable moment. Feeling cheated.
  8. This is truly one of the most disappointing moments in gaming history. Gamers are being reduced to digging through the game's installed files to discover what was supposed to happen in the game they just bought. I'm betting they were left there for us to find, so that we could all voice our total disgust at whoever is responsible for cutting it all. From all that I have read and listened to in the sound files, these additions would triple my enjoyment of this game. Whoever made the call to have all of this cut, I say only this....well done, knucklehead.
  9. Please, there must be a way to add these events back in. Most of the dialogue seems to be recorded and I imagine some other aspects have been completed. Let's face it, the game needs patching anyway, so why not get this stuff back in? As it stands, the game is enjoyable until after the Jedi Council scenes on Dantooine, when the endgame just goes straight down hill, with nothing really making any sense, and things are just sloppy all around. While they may not straighten everything out, they sure as hell will make the endgame on Malachor a hell of a lot more interesting, and much more satisfying. The Influence system means absolutely jack with the current endgame. It doesn't matter if you play light or dark, the characters who follow you ultimately have no point at all being there in the first place with things as they are. Very sad, considering this is an otherwise superb game. I really don't care who's decision it was to cut this stuff, but get it back in. I will say this, though it amounts to little: I will not touch a single OE or LA product again if these events are not put back in. They improve the overall experience of the game, making it, in my eyes, better than the original. Honestly, without these scenes, one might as well solo the game (if it were possible), since the NPCs ultimately amount to nothing of consequence. My first time through as LS, the whole sequence with Mira and Hanharr led me to believe there might be something significant from the other characters to happen, but nope. AFter that, POOF!, NPCs are gone and all we get is a lame dialogue from Kreia about what happens to them (as if any LS or DS character would even believe her after recent events). Hell, I'd be willing to pay a small fee to get those scenes added back in! Something like $10 and I'd have no argument. LA loves to milk the Star Wars cash cow, well here's a golden opportunity. These scenes should never have been cut, but hey, what's done is done. Get them back in there and you'll have a huge community of very, very happy fans who will pile on for the inevitable sequel.
  10. Ok. So we know the devs are tweaking the combat animations to give a better sense of improving on your combat skills by having better looking or more complex animations. What I'm wondering is, does this apply only to feat-based combat abilities? Essentially, are only feats like Flurry, Critical Strike, Power Attack, etc being tweaked? Will the basic attack anims change at all? Such as your single-saber dueling attack anims, dual-wielding anims, dual-saber anims. Will these also change? Will they offer a more varied series of anims depending on your opponent (your dual-wielded sabers vs a single saber foe, your single saber vs a dual-saber foe, etc)? I'm big time curious. I loved the anims of a dual-wielder vs a single saber (it just seemed to be the most fluid anims) and always wanted to see more variety in the attack anims. Anyway, if the devs can take time away for a moment or two to respond to this (but not too much time, KotOR II is all that matters here!), I'd be much obliged.
