The All Things Political Thread (The World and US Reunited)

Good question? What will they do next? Come after people with D&D avatars? -
No. But I recognize the characters. I must have seen them as a mod in some game.

Exactly. And the sad thing is that there are other options, plenty of left-wing candidates in Brazil. While I wouldn't bet any of them is honest, they are at least something new (even if most of them are former ministers of Lula). But now we will almost certainly end up with a second round in the election with the two worst options. Some will say he only did that because the economy was doing well and later that was lost when Dilma was president. Still, they robbed too much. -

We are heading to the same mess. Right-wing people are already crying, saying there will be fraud in 2022 to remove Bolsonaro. Lula stole a lot of money when he was president. Leftists denied it for years, but eventually some admitted it. He also made a deal with the congress to get his projects approved in exchange for bribes. The funny thing is that Bolsonaro is now allied to some of the same people who were bribed back them... -

The Supreme Court of Brazil has cleared Lula to run for president in 2022. Great! Can't wait to choose between Lula and Bolsonaro in 2022! I envy you Americans who had Hillary and Biden as options. -
You are correct. I messed things up there. What I had heard was indeed about the risk of the disease getting serious.

Studies like this are good because they can help fight the pandemic. Months ago I heard that overweight people were more susceptible. But I don't remember if it was something observed here in Brazil. However, I don't think our situation here is caused by this, but actually by people who don't take it seriously.

Yes, that is actually why I was hiding it. But this thread has lots of posts daily, so any spoilers will be left behind fast.

I've been watching 5 episodes a day, more or less. I usually skip the opening and the ending, if I've seen it before. That ends up being less than two hours. But sometimes things get more interesting and I watch more episodes.

A few more episodes.

I'm leaving rewatching it for next year, the 30th anniversary of the show. It was one of my all time favorites and I always wanted to do it and see all the (would be) famous "cameos". I have to agree with you here. Some students have "different" skills. As for Usagi, maybe she used her magic pen and changed her grades while looking like the principal. In S she is already looking more childish. So it gets worse?

I started SM S. The enemies are significantly stronger and the bad guys even seen to have noticed they are failing earlier than in the other seasons. Sailor Uranus and Neptune seem to be much more experienced and maybe stronger too. Funny how they openly and mercilessly abandoned the girls in the cat episode. And is Usagi secretly a supergenious? She barely studies and is always having really bad grades, but somehow in the end it seems to always end up well. So she must be compensating in some way in the later exams.
