fubared Nar Shaddaa mission? (slight spoilers)
11XHooah replied to bobby98989's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
That's strange. Another bug perhaps? So when you're talking to the quarren, there is no type of threat option? Because at some point you should be able to make a threat that initiates a battle. I think if you talk to him about enslaving the people in the residential sector, you can say something like "I'm not going to let this happen anymore" (sorry, haven't played in a while), which should provoke him. -
It's strange how we find farts so amusing, isn't it :D Nothing like letting one rip to lighten up your day

I'm religious, so I believe we go to heaven or hell. If you go to heaven, I think that you are allowed to have the choice to either stay, or go back.

fubared Nar Shaddaa mission? (slight spoilers)
11XHooah replied to bobby98989's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
You can piss off the guards that are at the entrance of the living area. Just talk to them, and you can threaten them to the point where you can fight them. Then the way is clear for her to go through. Hope that helps. Welcome to the boards by the way. -
Work on some of your grammar and spelling there buddy. Anyway, I'm not even going to get started on this because it's just going to turn into a flame war, and the big green dragon will come and shut this thread down.

"Not if we don't have to" - Oh but isn't all this about bringing our form of government, and our views of freedom to the rest of the world anymore? What determines if a country is fit for purification? Is it that Dubya & Co knows that North Korea actually possesses WMD's to use against possible invaders and Iraq didn't? :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That is true. We did go in with some pretty sh*tty intelligence. We realized that we either made mistake, or came into Iraq to late to find the WMD's, so we changed the objective of the war. We had to rebuild Iraq after the invasion, so we changed the war to a liberation effort.
-
In regards to North Korea, they do pose a threat. And it is obvious that they have aspirations to start up their nuclear programs. Should we go to war with them? Not if we don't have to. We'll give them a chance just like we gave Saddam. Besides, we could not handle another war if we had to right now. Unless of course we reinstate Selective Service, which I highly doubt will happen.

A few Desert Storm era mortar shells with Sarin gas is not WMD's, sorry mate, the war was illegal. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Have you seen what Sarin gas can do? And you are aware that he was testing this, as well as many other biological/chemical weapons on his own people, right? Besides, according to Bush, it was bad intel. I don't really know if that is the truth, but the fact of the matter is that we ARE there. Worry about all that sh*t when the war is over. And really the objectives of the war have drastically changed. Now it is a mission to liberate Iraq and give them the freedoms that we enjoy everyday. And personally, I think that we needed to free these people from the tyranny and oppression of that piece of crap Saddam. IMO, we should have taken him down when we had the chance during Desert Storm, but we made the mistake of not doing it. If we had, I'm sure we would have found the WMD's that he was hiding. Just think; he had an ampel amount of time to export them out of the country or hide them. Not to mention when the UN held us up, he had even more of an opportunity to get rid of anything he had left. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah...yeah. Look, every single report done on the matter states, clearly, that Iraq's WMD program was in a state of decline in the years leading up to invasion; they also unequivocally state that absolutely nothing was exported out of Iraq prior to us going in. Actually, pardon me; every single report, except for good ol' Halliburton ****'s constant insistance that Iraq has a nuclear arsenal on par with our own. And you're right, we should've gotten him in Desert Storm. Or we should've never sold him the weapons he used to kill his own people in the first place. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How do you know nothing was exported out of Iraq? We can't watch all of Iraq's borders at once. He could have easily slipped them into other countries where they could be sold or hidden. Not to mention that you miss the fact that he had a decade before Operation Iraqi Freedom to get them out of the country.

Oh happy days! In case you have never heard of forsake the troops, it was a website created by a scumbag named Michael Crook. On this site, he bashed the military, and even made fun of pictures of dead Soldiers. Basically, he thinks that the U.S. military is useless, and he would have the freedoms that he has today without their protection. This site has recently been shut down after he faked his death. When he "died", it said that he was assaulted by Soldiers I guess this was his attempt to turn more people against the military. But recently he was taken on to Fox news with Hannity and Colmes, who made him look like the total a**hole that he is. Here's the link: http://www.marines.mil/marinelink/videovie...TheMilitary.wmv From the looks of things, I don't even think he knows what he is fighting for. This guy is definitely FUBAR.

Yeah, I'm going to just come out and say it. Lucasarts is gay. :D If they don't release the patch soon, I'll show them where they can shove KOTOR II :D

That's a tough call. Could we be our own demise? And from a religious perspective, would God allow us to do such things?
-
Yeah that sounds great Just lying in a pit all day waiting for a random bounty hunter to fall in <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't forget, a Sarlaac has tentacles. You could play with those. Wait a minute, that sounds so wrong :D

That was an awesome post. I completely agree

Like I stated before, I believe the church is corrupt. It is the epitome of bigotry in my opinion. Ideally, all religions should respect the others beliefs. But the church does not find that palatable. And like I said before, it is the fault of the human race, not religion, that causes conflict. And last time I checked the human race created the church. And for your information, all that "god wills it" is called faith. I have never seen God, I have never seen Heaven. But that doesn't mean they don't exist. I have faith that they do.
-
To be honest, I don't understand any of it. But I believe in God none the less. That's what faith is. The problem with the human race is that we are arrogant when it comes to knowledge. We think that we have the mental capacity to understand how everything works, but there are some things that we can't. How do you explain nature for example? Is there a Mother Earth? We don't know, and we probably never will. Now I see that you want to place blame on the church for us not understanding how God was created, if he even was created. But did you ever think that maybe God made us this way. Maybe his intent was to build us so there were some things that we couldn't understand.

So I take it you're an atheist I do agree with you that religion can be used for evil. Just look at the Muslim terrorists for example. But you can't rule religion as evil just because some people use it to justify acts of evil. Not all Muslims are terrorists. Now, for what you said about religion and politics. I think that you have that mixed up with the church. I'll admit that the church is very corrupt, which is why I do not go anymore. But they seem to be the ones who take on public agendas, not the religion itself. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agnostic, actually. Ah, but without religion, would we have half the problems we do today? I suggest not. And I equate religion with the church because it is the modern face of such institution. While there are religious people who do not attend church, their ideas of religion have been formulated at one time or another by the church (whichever one it may be). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I see. To be earnest, I do not consider myself part of any religion. I am just a man that believes in God, and that is it. I don't have a problem with those that believe in more than one god or have different beliefs. But is religion really the culprit in world conflicts? I don't think so. I believe it is the people who are part of that religion. There are many bigots out there. Perhaps it has been the human race who has been at fault all this time, not religion itself.
-
You know what I think. I think that our minds are too primitive to handle that kind of knowledge.

Thats great! but this is my belief, we can still be friends though <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We sure can I believe in evolution of life. It's just common sense to know that it exists. But I don't believe the scientific theories that say how life started. If you think about it, how could the solar sytem, let alone the whole universe just appear? And then life just appeared as well? We were created by God. But that's just my belief.

Well I'm a man of faith, not science. I believe that God created all of us.

KoToR 3: Ideas and Suggestions
11XHooah replied to Fionavar's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The KOTOR 3 developers should be hiring us to make the game :D These are some great ideas. I especially like the option of having a hood up or hood down toggle. But what I think would make the game really complete is if there's a toggle to throw off your jedi robes, unveiling dueling robes. And I would also like to see an option to customize your robes' appearance. -
KoToR 3: Ideas and Suggestions
11XHooah replied to Fionavar's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I want to start out on Coruscant as a Jedi padawan, go through all the training, and then get deployed with my master to find Revan in the Outer Rim. That's how I want KOTOR 3 to start. This game would be great with a master/padawan team concept. -
I sure hope we can go to Coruscant in KOTOR III. I would like to explore the Jedi temple, especially the room of One Thousand Fountains (or something like that). You should start out as a Jedi in training (I like earning my way to the class of Jedi like in KOTOR I), and then you get sent out to find Revan. BTW, would anyone like to see a master/padawan type of thing in KOTOR III?
-
The love issue would probably be the reason I wouldn't make a good jedi. I agree with Jolee, Jedi should learn how to love instead of avoiding it. Heh, I just thought of something funny. Remember in KOTOR II when the handmaiden asks about love between Jedi, and you can say that falling in love is "pulling a bindo" :D
